I purchased a 100gm piece of this kind of on a whim when I placed an online lush order. It was down to $4 and I thought why not?
This comes in just a basic clear plastic bag with a white printed out sticker displaying the weight and the name of the soap. It's definitely not flash, but lush never claim to be flash on packaging! I'm not sure how well the soap would survive long term in this packaging but it should be ok for a while.
My soap looked a bit different to the one pictured. It is actually mostly a pastel green. I does have a few coloured bit's in it as well. The beauty of lush's soaps are that they will all look slightly different as they are cut off a larger piece of soap. I think it looks pretty unique and if you had a few different pieces of unpackaged lush soap, it would be pretty easy to recognize this one.
I don't really know what I was expecting this to smell like, maybe citrus? When I first smelled it, I was delighted. It reminds me of fruity candy. It's super sweet but not sickly at all. I'm currently just using this as handsoap, I love how it leaves my hands fragranced for a good couple of hours after using it. I find this lathers up really well too. I also like how this doesn't seem to go all gross and squishy too. It has retained its harder texture.
I'll definitely buy this again in the future. I did go overboard in the lush sale so I don't need any soap for a while anyway! If you like sweet scents, I'd definitely recommend this one.
Now I'm a fruity girl. So thought this would be perfect. If you look at the photo, the white looking bit that encases the other bits seemed to melt/disolve quicker than the harder shapes.
The fragrance reminds me of Christmas. Like Christmas cake fruit or something. Not loving it!
Lush soaps normally leave my skin feeling nice and I still apply moisturisers. This made it feel tight and the more I used it, it dried my skin out even more.
If I was given this I'd definately use it again, I just won't buy it for myself
