Aveeno Daily Moisturising Lotion Review

I've found this is my go-to moisturiser after I shower. I've found it soaks in easily and quickly, and doesn't leave me greasy.

I personally don't think it's enough as a hand moisturizer - I prefer something a little heavier. I also wouldn't use it on my face, but it's quite perfect as a general body moisturiser.

My only downside is the pump - I hate that you waste so much product, and it's such a hassle to recycle. I do think we could do better on the packaging.

Have been using Aveeno for the passed few years and absolutely love it!! It works really well on dry and cracked skin, especially in winter. Having had mild dermatitis, I find this can be really helpful, especially on your hands in winter. Have also attempted to use as a facial moisturiser-although this does not completely substitute for a facial moisturiser- I find it a good last minute alternative when out of my regular facial moisturiser. It also leaves your skin looking soft and dewy. Definitley a must use product.

Aveeno is a body moisturiser I continue to buy. It really does hydrate for 24 hours like it claims. I have quite dry skin so have to moisturise if I don't want my legs looking like snake skin. If I shower and shave then apply Aveeno in the morning, my legs will still be smooth and hydrated when I wake the next day. And that is what I want from a moisturiser! For it to be long lasting. I like that it doesn't have an over powering fragrance like many other moisturisers do. The pump bottle works well until you get down to the last little bit at the bottom. Then if you want to not waste it you have to unscrew the pump and try scrape the last of it out which is a pain.

There is no doubt about it, Aveeno makes fantastic moisturisers! Whenever my skin is dry and in dire need of hydration, I use this moisturiser at night and my skin feels amazing by the morning. However, I don't use it as an everyday moisturiser. This is purely due to the smell. It doesn't smell bad and has a very raw, natural smell but I prefer to use fruitier smelling moisturisers during the day so that I smell good throughout. Another thing I have found is that if you rub it on for too long, it comes off the skin and rolls up into little balls. Other than this, it is very smooth and easy to apply, and a very effective moisturiser!

I use this every day as my facial moisturiser, as I have quite oily skin and my skin requires a good dose of moisture to control the oil production. I use it morning and night (I use it at night with my night creams) and my skin absolutely loves it- soaks it right up! It also absorbs really quickly on my body, and my skin is really different afterwards compared to some other moisturisers - and the fact that it isn't scented makes it easy to wear any perfume you like, as it won't clash with the scent of other moisturisers

I love this product for its price and how well it moisturises my skin. It leaves my skin looking plump and smooth and sinks in fairly quickly after application. I also love the bottle as you can easily close the pump before packing into a bag without having to squirt out any product like most other pumps do! The only thing I am not keen on is the scent, however I like that it does not contain chemical fragrance.

Have used this for years. First tried as a recommendation for my children who get dry skin eczema and it worked wonders to get them moistured now we all use it in the regular. Even used it on my face when I've run out of face cream and it was fine. Smells great feels good on and keeps you feeling moisturised for ages after first apply. Loved this product will keep using it
