I love Clinique so I assumed spending almost $90 on an eye cream would be an investment and possibly mean a new favourite product. Unfortunately this product did nothing special to warrant such a hefty price tag. It has a nice creamy texture and it does absorb into the skin quickly but my under eye area was left feeling quite dry (I do have dry under eyes but normally a decent eye cream will help this). My concealer wouldn’t blend properly over the top even after waiting 5 minutes for it to sink in. I didn’t expect miracles but I definitely didn’t notice any firming or reduced wrinkles/crows feet and for the price I would at least expect something visible. Don’t get me wrong I really enjoy this range and there are a few products that I quite happily shell out the big dollars on but unfortunately this isn’t one of them. I won’t be buying this cream again and won’t be recommending it to friends.

Clinique is a brand I’ll often look for although it isn’t always the cheapest option. I asked for this eye cream for my birthday and couldn’t wait to try it out. Results- you only need a small amount, it drys and absorbs well and leaves under eyes feeling nourished and definitely brighter but I didn’t really see any change to the lines around the eye area which is what I was hoping for. Due to the cost I’ll properly try a different brand next time something more effective in reducing lines around the eyes.
