Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Nail Polish Review

After reading the lovely BR beauty Macs review on this polish I added it to my "products I want" page. This feature is great otherwise I would have forgotten the polish brand, name etc anyway....

Salon manicure polish is different to the gel polish, The salon manicure is more like a nail polish than a gel polish.

The bottle is clear making it easy to tell the colour, with the lid being big and sturdy making it easy to hold and apply. The brush is what I love most about the Sally Hansen range the corners are rounded off making it super duper easy to apply, and hard to make a mistake.

I have the colour pedal to the medal and it's a metallic grey/purple, I applied 2 coats and then a top coat. Drying time was 5-10 minutes which is faster than the gel polish.

What has impressed me the most with this polish is the longevity, on day 7 it had started to crack across a couple of nails but no chipping or peeling, it really has been the longest I have ever had a polish stay looking so good (I have a photo of it in "my photos" on day 4)

I'm only a newbie with Sally Hansen since it's not easily available in our small town and I am already planning what colours to get next time I head to the city.

I love nail polish alot. I think it completes a girls look if she has her nails done as well. I love to try different brands to get an idea of what each product is like. I tried this Salon Manicure to get a sense of lovegivity and coverage.

This Salon Manicure polish comes in a 14.7 ml bottle. Its a sturdy thick glass bottle. It has a silver lid with the type of polish named on the top of it. The brush isn't your normal brush. It's quite thick and it's slightly curved around the tip. The two colours I chose were two nudes. The first colour is called Choco-Latte it's a pinky nude. The other colour is called Honey Whip, it's more of nude light brown tone.

Application with this brush is perfect. Not streaky at all. You can apply up to two coats. My preference is three to four coats. Drying time is about five minutes per coat. Longevity is about 2 to three days , four days if I apply a top coat.

My results were good covered nails. Easy to apply this nail colour to my nails. Drying time is about 5 minutes per coat. Love to try more nail colours from Sally Hansen. It's a lovely nail polish brand to own.

I was very lucky to receive a bottle of this gorgeous nail polish from my grand mother as she did not like the color. I am a loyal OPI user and was not so sure I wanted the disappointment of wasting valuable nail polish funds on another brand....

BOY WAS I SURPRISED!

This polish is AMAZING! From the square shaped brush to the thick first coat - it has me hooked! For once my left hand does not look like a monkey painted my nails!

The rectangular brush is so so easy to use and makes getting a manicure look so dang easy.

The cover is amazing - I could have only used 1 coat if I wasn't so OCD about 2 coats. It also dries in record time to a solid finish. Perfect!

I got the color 'Mudslide'.

I have Shell We Dance which is like the perfect soft barely there but there pink and Kook A mango, an orange red in my eyes.

I had never heard of this brand before until I saw everyone talking about it on the BRA page so I knew I NEEDED (hehe) to give them a go myself. I usually hate painting because it takes hooours for the polish to fully dry, smudges like crazy while waiting so have to start again about 50 million times and then chips within only days! Who has time to sit around for hours and then having to do it all again in the next day or so!? Not me.

I LOVE these polishes though and throughly enjoy redoing my nails with them. The colours are so beautiful and I only need to do one coat with these.

The brush is different to any other nail polish brush I've seen before, but I really really like it. It's like the shape of a finger nail if that makes sense. This makes it much easier to apply the polish, without causing a mess around your fingers.

The polish itself lasts much longer on my nails than any other. It lasts around a week before it starts to chip and you need to redo. Much better than a couple of days!

I couldn't recommend these polishes enough, I can now say I have pretty nails because of these and I'm not ashamed to show my nails. The colours and the bottle itself are stunning. Oh and the price is pretty darn good too compared to others! Like seriously how could you go wrong?

I have always struggled with painting my finger nails as they always chip and I hate having chipped nails. I work in an office so I try to keep my nails tidy and presentable. I saw these on sale at Farmers so thought I would give it a go. I bought All Fired up and Iced Coffee first. I love the little glass bottles and the brush is a great size/shape with only a couple of strokes coating the nail. These nail polishes are thick, highly pigmented and give a great glossy/shiny professional gel look. I was very pleasantly surprised You could easily just do the one coat on the brighter colours like Al Fired Up and Kook A Mango, the lighter colours like Iced Coffee and Peachy Keen were better with two coats as they tended to be a bit more sheer. I like to use two coats anyway so I did this with all colours. This lasted me the working week without any chips or marks this was being knocked around at work and knocked around at the gym I was really happy with this as its really hard to find anything that will withstand work and the gym. It didnt last out 7 days but I was more than happy with 5-6 days and redoing on the weekend especially considering this is really reasonably priced. I went back and bought some more of these including the Black Platinum.

I absolutely love these nail polishes and would highly recommed these to anyone wanting long wearing professional gel looking nails.

This is an amazing nail polish brand.The brush is wide and flat which makes it so easy to apply-one of the best brushes I have ever used. One stroke nearly does your whole nail!

The formula is smooth and doesn't leave any streaks. Its really opaque and one coat would do although I prefer to use two. It gives you bright glossy looking nails and the lasting time is really good!

I think my love my for Sally Hansen is genetic! This is my mom's favourites nail polish, so many of her and my friends swear by this brand, so as a kid this was naturally my favourite brand (being a copy cat) but now that I'm a big girl I have a deeper love for Sally.

My job has me typing away at a keyboard, rumaging through clients files and documents so my hands are constantly getting knocked about. As you can tell my nails need a nail polish that will stand the test of time.

This nail polish is beautifully opaque, silky smooth and diamond glossy. Application is so easy because it glides on with a few strokes of the brush and you're left with a colour intense finish that doesnt streak or bubble up.

I love that this nail polish is thick, because you dont have to apply a million coats to get a colour rich intensity. Just one coat will definitely suffice but I do prefer to use 2 coats, just because I like my nails to be loud. :)

I love how long wearing this nail polish is because I can go through an entire week bashing hands around and it doesnt chip. Yep, it's like this nail polish is bonded to your nails in marriage.

I have so many colours in this range but my favourite would have to be "All fired up". Its a gorgeous burnt orange red that goes great with my skin tone and I always get lovely compliments wearing this colour.

I definitely recommend this to people who are looking for a long wearing, opaque and glossy nail polish. Its going to be and Sally together for a very long time to come.
