I was really excited to try this as I love Sally Hansen products and am usually really impressed but unfortunately this time I wasn't.
After applying it, it took quite a while to absorb leaving a thick greasy feel for a while which really makes you want to go wash it off. I tried applying less but still got the same result. It also leaves a light greeny colour build up on your cuticles, if not completely rubbed in this fades once completely absorbed. It immediately leaves your nails nice and shiny and definitely moisturises your cuticles but after a good few days of using it doesn't remove your cuticles like stated. It does soften them which does make them easier to push back so I would say that it more feels like you are using a moisturiser for your nails and cuticles rather than a cuticle eraser. I used this on both my fingers and toes as my cuticles on my toes are worse than my fingers but got the same result. It smells really delicious as the ingredients are White Tea and Cucumber, and the container is very cute but I think it should really have a label on the top of the lid saying what it actually is as it really looks and smells like a lip gloss.
Based on the amount that I have used over the past few days on my fingers and toes I don't think that this container would actually last very long. Usually Sally Hansen products are reasonably priced but based on the product not actually doing what it is meant to and how much you get I think that this is a bit overpriced. All in all I personally wouldn't purchase this or recommend this as there are more negatives than positives and sadly the only thing I liked about it was the smell.
This balm does a pretty good job at keeping my cuticles soft, but the 'erase' part of the product doesn't seem to do anything for me. I still have to use a seperate Sally Hansen cuticle removing lotion with an orange stick or clippers. The balm is kind of sticky to apply, so I find myself using other hand creams or cuticle lotions that absorb better instead. For nearly $20 I don't feel like it's worth the money.
Tips: You'd be better off to purchase Lush Lemony Flutter which is about the same price, has more product and absorbs better.
