top speed

Awesome range of colours to choose from.easy to apply .but I needed a few coats to make it look good ,one coat is not enough. But the disappointment is that it chips very easy .and im finding that I have to re do them within a day.this nail polish maybe better used for just making patterns on top of other nail polish. Like dots or a line or two.I does dry quick though so that is an advantage if you're in a rush.

Tips: It does last alot longer on toes so perhaps just use it on them.also use a top coat.

Dries Super Fast but...

I have the Revlon Top Speed Nail Polish in the shade 522 'Spice It Up' and I really think it does the title justice. The nail polish indeed does dry fully in a couple of minutes which is a gigantic plus for your limited patience! One thing I have to say is that it chips very very easily and in a matter of a couple of days. Couple minutes to dry, couple of days to chip - really what it's all about. Loveeee the colour though. I dig dark nail polishes and Spice It Up is a nice brown colour with a hint of red and shimmer - but not too much shimmer otherwise call me hater!

I am really enjoying dark nail colours at the moment and Spice It Up is just that.

Tips: Apply two coats for optimum colour and opacity.

Here for a good time, not a long time

Great polish to pop on minutes before you have to go somewhere, great for when you realise at the last minute your polish is looking worse for wear, or if you have an unexpected party to attend. But overall this polish doesn't offer much other than fast dry time. This is a one coater and it doesn't like repeated applications - the formula will bubble and peel even quicker so needs speedy yet precise brushstrokes. The wear time is unfortunately terrible and I have owned this in many shades and this will chip within the first few hours without fail. A quick fix solution to an emergency manicure but if you are looking to purchase this for anything longer you will be disappointed!

Fast On. Fast Off.

I am not the world's most patient human. And sitting still or doing little whilst waiting for nail polish to dry is a definite issue for me - 99% of the time I end up with a bump or chip or ripple in the polish. So I thought I'd give this a go - and I bought it in the stunning shade, Lily. A light lilac. Love!

I've given it a couple of goes now. And I dunno, I'm feeling quite 'meh' about the whole thing. The consistency of the polish is interesting, I find it quite thick, yet it streaks as if it's not thick at all. Even after two coats I often find parts of my nail (where the ridges are), still showing through a little. Also the second coat doesn't seem to like going on, it feels like it resists the top coat, often resulting in thick streaks or bubbles. (Can nail polish have a mind of its own?) As for longevity? It lasts a day or two and then it starts to chip.

On the upside, I always am complimented on the shade when I go out - so that's nice.

Would I recommend it? If you need a quick fix, you can buy it on special and you're handy with a nail polish brush (I'm quite hamfisted), by all means give it a go, otherwise I'd give it a miss.

A quick fix product

I have a few of these (Ignite-red/orange, Spice it up- brown, Electric-yellow) picked these up for $6 each from the warehouse which is reasonable but I would have been very annoyed had I paid the RRP of $19.99 for one of these!

The best thing about these polishes is the fast dry time it sets/dries within a few minutes, other than that I don't see anything special or unique about this polish although it's not bad.

This polish formula is fairly easy to work with applies smoothly providing i'm working fairly swiftly, if you dilly-dally with this stuff the application is not going to be pretty. The brush is okay a little on the smaller side I would prefer it to be bigger. The color is vibrant and the polish is easily removed with any old cheapo nail polish remover but it chips very easily. This stuff is chipping off within the same day of application which is what really lets it down, it's more quick fix than quality.

I use these polishes occassionally they're suitable if I want to get the job done quickly, rough enough is good enough and i'll do it properly tomorrow but I definately won't be buying any more of these.

Tips: Don't pay $20 for one of these you will be sorely disappointed, I think you can usually get these for $6 from the warehouse if you want to try.

Super Fast

I normally go looking at The warehouse for any quick bargains that I might see reduced. At the time I saw this particular nail polish on a clearance sale for $3. It was normally $6 but halfed in price. I couldn't resist the urge to buy it knowing it retails for $20 else where.

Revlon is a brand that I'm very familiar with. It is one of those staple brands that I loved using growing up. I used to religiosly buy their shampoo and conditioner but they have discontinued that line.

The bottle is a decent size. The brush is easy to use and apply on to your nails. Consistency is a normal nail polish liquid. It isn't thick. When I applied it on to my nails it dried within minutes of application. When I'm away on holiday I don't have time to do my nails. I quickly apply this and I've instantly got perfect looking nails. I used a deep Maroon red. I was very happy with the speed. Lasted me about 2 days and then it started to wear away. Great for a quick lookk in such a fast time.

Great colours available

I am definitely a fan of the quick dry Revlon polishes for several reasons.

They apply easily without streaking, are opaque in two coats, and best of all, SET FAST!

They are touch dry quickly but you do still need to be careful with knocks and bumps, as they aren't dent proof (found that out the hard way and had to start over haha)

The shades available cater to all tastes and the finish on these is really really nice! So good for people who are limited on time, and never disappointing.

Tips: Work quickly - these polishes set relatively fast so make sure you have enough polish on your brush to do the whole nail.

Dries fast!

I have one shade in this polish - 555: Orchid. This was a gift from my Mum (via her friend!)and is a gorgeous metallic petal pinky purple shade. It's girly but still sexy. I especially love it on my toes, but when I wear it on my fingernails I get loads of comments about how pretty it is and how well it suits my skin, which is nice.

Like all classic Revlon polishes this range comes in a cylindrical bottle that is wider at the base. The tops on these are silver, which allows for easy differentiation from the standard ranges at a glance.

The brushes in this range are better than the standard; wider and offering better coverage. This is necessary because this is a fast-dry polish, which can go a bit gluggy if you're messing around with your application technique. It's also a thicker consistency than the standard polishes, making it less ideal as a nail art polish.

I still do two coats of this, out of habit, but it's not as necessary. The second does give you a deeper colour, of course, though.

As with all quick dry polishes this can be a little 'easy come, easy go' and if you're rough on your nails you can flake it off, but a good top coat alleviates much of this and I usually can keep it on around a week (with the odd touch up) before it needs to come off. This is on the slightly above average side for me, so I'm happy with that.

I'd buy more of these, but I wouldn't pay $20 for it as you can get quality polishes that are as good for way less.

Dries super fast

I have so many Top Speed Nail Polishes. I bought them from The Warehouse ( cheapest you can get). Beautiful shades, dry amazingly fast. However it is not long lasting. It last 2-3 days and start to wear away. The brush is decent, creates even coat and I usually apply the second coat. I still love this Top Speed nail polish and keep buying.

Better than stander nail polish

I am busy lady and I don't have patience to wait till nail polish dry ( not goo). So always looking for nail polish which go dry quick. When I heard Revlon intruduce speed top nail polish, couldn't stop myself not to buy. I went straight in farmers and bought shade called "wind fall" it is nice bright green colour. Bottle is same like classic Revlon nail polish and its say speed top on bottle.

Nail polish brush is wider than normal nail polish so you need to swipe 2 and you done. I found formula is batter than stander one. Perfect consistency for one swipe and gives you good colour but I go for two coats for more bright and nice colour. Company claims its dry fast. Yes it does dry fast but no super fast...lol.

If you use top coats than its up to one week. Without top coats nail polish start chiping it after 4 days. I don't think so I will but it again. I would rather invest in my favourites one. If I like colour then I would ( my weakness is nice colour).

Tips: Use top coats for long last.
