I picked this up as a change from the normal powder eyeshadow. all i can say it what the hell were they thinking putting this out to market, it's terrible!! it wears off my eyes after literally 15 minutes, and sinks into my crease. This is the WORST eyeshadow product I've ever tried.

I own one of these palettes in Eternal Summer. The palette come packaged nicely in a black oblong container, which features a mirror which is a nice touch. The palette has a lovely sky blue, peachy orange, frosty yellow and olive green in it. I loved the fun shades included. I found the shades to be really pigmented which surprised me. There were incredibly creamy and easy to blend. I found these great to use as base shadows. Longevity wise, I found these did crease easily but I do expect that from a creme eyeshadow. Unlike other reviews, I found these did the trick and I had a lot of fun playing with the colours and I'd use again.
I picked up one of these palettes at a clearance store, and thought it was worth a try. The shades looked very beautiful, shimmery and the packaging seemed fancy too.
However, I wasn't impressed with this product. While the shades are gorgeous and these go on easily and are creamy, they don't stay long. After half an hour or so, these look really gross and have creased and partially worn off. This still happens with a primer, and when I set the shadows with a similar eyeshadow. I do have oily eyelids, but other cream eyeshadows I have tried still last better than these.
I won't be buying these again for sure, they just don't work for me and my oily lids. I had to throw this out a while ago after it partially melted anyways.
Sadly this product was nowhere near as effective as other cream based eye products i have used. It quickly melts into the crease so you only get about an hour max worth of decent wear before you feel you have to re-blend, but then its a little tricky to build being a little too sticky & creamy. sadly i was quite disappointed with this product.
Tips: i find using the lighter colours in my inner corner a good method so i am still able to slowly use this palette up.
I picked one of these up for an 80's Party about 2 years ago, as mine has a lime green & bright blue in it. I rediscovered it in my drawer a few weeks ago & have been playing with it.
The colours initially are lovely. They show true and blend well. The cream glides on easily but it's not buildable. I found by the time I got to work it had all moved into my crease. I've tried it with a primer under & the same thing happens. I pretty much now only use the white shimmer for detailing and the dark blue for my outer corner when doing a blue smokey.
Definitely not worth the money & surprising for a Revlon product!
On the plus side! It washes off easily!
I've had a couple of these palettes over the years, At thought at first they were an awesome idea.
The eyeshadows are creamy and glide easily and also blend really well together, I found they are quite subtle in colouring and not really buildable.
After about half an hour you end up with a horrible crease mark and an awkward spread going on, you look like you have had a really hard night out and forgot to wash off your make up. They haven't improved the formula at all over the years either.
On a plus note they work really well as a face paint for dress up parties etc,
The shades are pretty, shimmery and creamy. They were easy to blend. However, they are not pigmented as I expected. They do crease, don't stay on, feel oily on my eyelids and does not last. I can only use it as a base for my eye shadows.
When I think of cream shadows, I think of Maybelline Color Tattoos. Beautiful, pigmented, well formulated and the colours are fantastic. But these? I got 2 of them online for pretty cheap thinking maybe they'd be sorta similar. No. No no no no no no no. I don't know what the shades I have are called because I chucked both quads pretty soon after I figured out there was nothing I could do about them. I honestly love the texture but the pigmentation is horrendous and they're super patchy. I did like the white shade in one of them to put in my inner corner but that is it - and I can do the same with my Too Cool Color Tattoo. Avoid these at all costs, if I had paid $24 each for them I would cry.
Purchased in Wild Orchids and was disappointed from the get-go. The colours looked lovely on the shelf but once applied they weren't pigmented at all. The eyeshadow itself was very creamy but was quite a challenge to apply it evenly without it looking patchy even when blended. I would give the lasting power of this eyeshadow a 0 out of 5 if I could as the eyeshadow almost instantly creased after an hour or so if it didn’t already rub off or fade. Purchased this on a sale and never again.
Tips: Could be a use as a semi sparkly base for an eyeshadow if you've already purchased it.
I bought this product because it offered nice, pigmented colours and I thought the cream eyeshadow would last better than powder. Sadly, this was not the case.
Although the colours really are very pretty and are impressively pigmented, they are incredibly hard to apply. I found that they gummed up any makeup brush I tried to use to apply them, and then stuck better on the brush than they did on my eyes. I eventually managed to have a little more success using my finger to apply them but this resulted in less precision and an uneven application. It is incredibly difficult to actually get any of the product evenly on your eyes as it rubs off quickly and seems to stick better to eyelashes and skin than it does to eyelids.
The other issue I had with this product was that it is not long lasting. Once I had managed to get any actually onto my eyelids, by the end of the night it was as if I hadn't even made the effort.
All in all, I would not use this product again as although it does include nice coloured, pigmented eyeshadows; they are so difficult to apply and short lasting that they are not worth the effort.
