Pure Fiji Nourishing Exotic Oil Review

Yet another luxurious Pure Fiji product - the nourishing exotic oil. I purchased this in the standard coconut scent and find it to be the best value-for-money in the range because of its versatility. I use it alone as a moisturiser, mixed in with the lotion or body butter for extra hydration, or in the shower just before I hop out, patting dry with a towel. Because of the many ways that it can be used, this would be a great option if you are wanting to try the treat that is Pure Fiji, but only wanted to purchase one product from the range.

The oil itself smells divine, absorbs easily (for an oil) and lasts on the skin for hours. It makes a fabulous overnight treatment and I will often use it on particularly dry patches during the day. This is a beautiful yet effective product and I will repurchase when I eventually run out.

I brought this oil to initially use after showering but I now mix it in with my Pure Fiji body wash as I find I use less oil and still have lovely soft, hydrated skin.

The oil absorbs so well compared to other body oils it really doesn't feel greasy at all. It does solidify at colder temperatures but because the bottle is plastic and see-thru its easy to heat up under the hot tap.

I use this on the days I haven't used the Pure Fiji body scrub and then apply my usual moisturiser afterwards. Although most of the time my skin is already well hydrated. I have purchased this in Coconut, Coconut Milk and Honey and Guava. They are all beautiful scents very natural and fresh. I look forward to trying more.

My madre went to Fiji and got me a gift pack containing this delightful oil, and I truly was pleased as Pure Fiji is on my "when I'm a millionaire" list, too rich for my blood currently. I hate that I've tried it now though, because I want more, moRE, MORE!!!!

As it was in a gift pack I didn't get the full pretty bottle, rather I got a small squeezy tube with the oil frozen inside. It melts really easily, I had the bottle in with the girls for 5 minutes and was able to squeeze a bit out to try.

Oooh the smell! I currently have 2 smells, coconut, and coconut and lime blossom. Out of the 2, coconut and lime blossom is my favorite, it smells so sweet and delicious, I want to bathe in it. Coconut is nice, it reminds me of summer holidays at Kawhia (pretty sure it sounds like car-fair, if you're confused). It brings back nice memories, which I like.

I've used this as a massage oil (I got the massage), in my hair, on my elbows... anywhere is good. I love, LOVED it as a massage oil, it smelled so good, it rubbed in so well and I felt amazing after, like I had been at the spa. It's gorgeous.

I'd definitely repurchase this, even if it is expensive. It's so good and I can see it lasting ages!

I received this from my mother-in-law for my birthday and I was so excited to use it. I was given the Guava Infusion. Just a heads up that during the warm weathers the oil is liquid but during the cold weathers the oil hardens up, but it doesn’t take long to liquify by just popping the bottle in warm water. The main ingredient is coconut oil and the scent of the Guava Infusion is absolutely divine.

One of the wonderful things about this oil is that it has multipurpose uses. I’ve used it as a hair and scalp therapy, which nourished my hair and scalp. It especially made my hair look healthier and shinier. I poured just a small amount of oil is my hand, probably about a 50c piece and rubbed my hands together, then rubbed it in my hair and scalp. I left it in for about 20 minutes before I shower and washed my hair. I’ve also used it as a massage oil or for hydration for my whole body as my body is rather dry. It’s best used after I’ve showered, and I rub he oil onto my body. Not a lot of oil is needed as a small amount spreads and absorbs into the skin easily. I also found the oil to be non-greasy and my skin felt very smooth and supple.

I think this is a wonderful oil, but it’s expensive. A small amount does go a long way though, so it lasts a long time. I’ve had mine for about a year. This would be more of a treat and indulgent thing I would buy once in a while, but not as a regular purchase due the price. I do recommend it to others to try out.

I love the Pure Fiji range and this is no exception. I have this in the mango (my fave) and the lime blossom (a close second).

I use this oil weekly after a bath - it’s best when the skin is warm and still slightly damp as it absorbs beautifully that way. During the colder months, I pop the bottle in the bath with me so the oil is nice and warm when I apply it. During the summer months I often use it as an extra moisture boost to the tougher areas of skin (elbows and knees), and as a massage oil when I can convince hubby to give me a foot rub.

This is also perfect for hair - when my hair is feeling dry, I apply after a shower or bath just to the very ends to add a bit of moisture back in. During summer I’ll often use this as a full hairmask, covering the length of my hair in the oil overnight and washing out the next morning. It leaves my hair feeling unbelievably soft and silky.

I have this in the coconut lime blossom, which smells like piña coladas and tropical paradise! The smell is lovely and fresh not too over powering the oil is long lasting and super nourishing leaving your skin soft and shiny. Great shine when used in hair too! Also a great gift for someone who is tricky to buy for!

Aww... My coconut oil has taken on it’s semi-solid form... However, it’s still spreadable. And having read so many tips below. I decided warming it up in a cup of warm water, but it wasn’t totally necessary.. as it melts to the warmth of your hand. But wella! My oil came back fairly quickly.

I love the texture. It’s not too oily... not too light. It’s just enough to give your skin the nourishment it needs. I love the scent.. You really get an exotic island feel. I’m imaging a relaxing petal bath scented with this oil, plus floating candles. I’ll definitely need to try this in another scent. Looking at guava or mango next. It’s just that great. This body oil definitely has my recommendation, unless you’re from an island where you could just smell coconut oil everywhere, and everyday.

Pure Fiji oil is one of my all time favourite beauty product. I always have several flavours in my collection. I know I am quite obsessed with being hydrated/moisturised its very important to me so this is a brand that I adore and have used for years. I use this all over my body after a shower, put a few drops in a bath for a soak or use on my hair. Its so versatile and smells delicious!

Pure Fiji Nourishing Exotic Oil is the perfect moisturizer for both face and body and smells delicious. When I use this oil daily my Husband doesn't know what it is I have on and gives me beautiful compliments. Compliments highly deserved because of the nature of the product. Especially great for dry skin or dry areas of your body that need that extra bit of nourishment. Goes exceptionally well in the Summer over your tan and makes your skin look silky smooth as if you have just had a full body wax and the feel of the oil on your skin is divine. Absolves very easily onto your skin and into your skin and lasts for the day so no need to top up on your body. When you walk or are sitting with friends they also comment on what is that beautiful smell you have on and its simply Pure Fiji Nourishing Oil. You can rub it into your fingernails to five them an extra shine or use in your hair as a mask to make your hair shiny and healthy. Great for your own personal use or as a gift for a friend or family member.
