NIVEA Stress Protect Deodorant Aerosol Review

'Stress Protect'...... Fantastic name! As a Chef of several year's, this instantly sounded like my dream must have hygiene product. There's a reason they say "If you can't handle the heat, then get out of the kitchen." I was extremely impressed with this product. I have trialled other brand's that offer a similar time of protection and just never meet the mark. This was extremely gentle on my skin as well, so no stressing awaiting the killer 'sting' after the shower ladies. Don't sweat the small stuff. I also reverted twice in between day's to my old deodorant only to be extremely disappointed with it's performance in comparison to Nivea Stress Protect. I would describe the scent as shower fresh, it's light and feminine. After a 9 hour shift in a busy kitchen it was definitely time to re-apply so the 48 hour protection might be a slight exaggeration. Never the less Nivea is a fantastic brand and they have now sold me on yet another product! So thank's B.R for selecting me for this trial and thank's Nivea for yet another great beauty product xx

I have been using nivea stress protect over the past week. I really like the scent I find it very fresh and tropical smelling. As for longevity I'd say it protects against odour for me personally for about 12 hours + however I did still perspire the same as I usually would except it didn't smell that odourous. I do prefer my rexona clinical to decrease my sweating but I do like the smell and freshness of this product and for use while out as it is easy to apply. Also have not noticed it leaving any white marks on my clothing so thats good too.

I am a big anti aerosol user when it comes to anti antiperspirants and deodorants so was extremely skeptic, so skeptic i went away on holiday and took my regular antiperspirant/deodorant with me. Thankfully the product did everything it said it would and more. I am quite surprised by it and would gladly buy this product for future use. Smelt great, worked great, no white stains anywhere!!!

The day I received my trial of this deodorant in the mail, I injured my back! Coincidence or no? I figured, however, that this was not the kind of stress sweating this Nivea deodorant is designed to prevent...

Despite not being able to really exercise over the time I had to review this product, I was able to spend most of a day outside in the hot sun including some walking. Even though I was sweating quite a bit, my armpits stayed dry, which I felt was pretty impressive.

This Nivea Stress Protect deodorant also does a very good job of deodorising, which is always my main concern in choosing a deodorant. I never felt stinky while I was using it.

The only downside is that spraying the deodorant creates a strong floral + aerosol scent, which only partially goes away after application. I enjoy wearing perfume and I felt that the deodorant was competing with it.

PROS: Excellent anti-perspirant and deodorant.

CONS: Strong chemical floral smell that only partially goes away after applying and could interfere with perfume.

BOTTOM LINE: I would strongly consider purchasing it if it came in an unscented version.

Loved this deodorant! It works really well, a product that delivers great results. It smells good too. I would definitely recommend it :-)

Okay, so gave this product a go! have been using for a week and don't think its anything special in the way of antiperspirant, it does the job like any other I have used. I didn't really like the smell of it and i found it really over powering :/ All in all I would say this is a pretty average product considering the promotional push behind it!

After receiving my trial of this in a mail I was really looking forward to trying it out. The next morning after my shower I applied it to my dry skin. The first thing I noticed was the smell… It’s not really what I want to be smelling of on a daily basis, it’s so potent and for me it lost points for that reason but on a more positive note, the second thing I noticed was the fact that it goes on dry. As a roll on user normally I like the fact that I didn’t have wait for the deodorant to dry was great, so it got a few points for that reason (but in saying that I’m sure every other spray on does the same thing).

The first day of use was an extremely hot day, I found by 4 o’clock I needed to reapply, I didn’t smell bad but I didn’t trust it enough to last the rest of the evening. The second day was a much cooler day … still found I needed to reapply... it lasted the day but for me to feel comfortable to go out for the evening I needed to put more on. I do not believe that this deodorant would last 48 hours, but who knows for some people it might I’m only one person out of many.

It’s fighting power against sweat was pretty damn good, so ups to it there!

I like it but don’t love it, if it had a nice sent I would probably purchase this product myself but what I smell like is important and I think I could find a similar product that smells much nicer. So sorry Nivea I don’t think I will be putting my money in to this one. (Please work on changing the scent)

I didn't realise before I started this trial that I had bought the roll-on version of this deodorant. However, I did try the aerosol spray for a good few days, and found it worked a treat. I don't usually like to use a spray, but didn't find this one a hassle at all. Happy that it didn't make me itch too much as well, and no nasty smells! Which is always a bonus, especially at this time of year.
