Body Crystal Fragrance Free Deodorant Review

I have tried a lot (!!) of the more natural, aluminum free deodorants over the years and this is definitely one of the better ones in my opinion.

I got it from Healthpost for about $12. It has a delicate and pleasant floral scent, is really easy to apply (roll on) and does a pretty good job of keeping me smelling fresh and feeling dry.

I work outside in the heat and this really does work (although I am not a huge sweater). I highly recommend this and will be buying again.

When I got this all I could think was, bit bigger than the Dove I am currently using. Dove 50ml. Body crystal 80ml. This came in a nice roller bottle with a white and purple label on it. It does say unscented on the bottle but the when doing the sniff test it reminded me of a salt jar. A big salt jar that mum used to use for cooking with.

I apply this as you would normally apply underarm and allow to dry. It also seems to be a bit better when you have no or minimal underarm hair, too much hair could stop it from covering well. I also notice that the ball didn't seem to roll the most smoothly until coated in product all over. There is no change on the scent with application and the salt smell is not noticeable for me. It seems to last me all day but it might be a little different depending on how active you are. I do a little walking and work in a call center under aircon, no sweating required but if you are a high sweat person this may not be for you.

Pricewise this is a bit more than the average deodorant in the supermarket so it's not something I would normally reach for but as this came by the vault I thought it would be a good thing to try. The ingredient list is short and no aluminum in it, first one of this type I had tried but I really couldn't see the difference without it so it will probably be back to the cheaper ones when finished.

I have tried many natural deods over my life.....this one does what it says, i am a heavy swetter and find most natural deods work for a while but not all day - body crystal rolls on well but can feel a bit sticky so i give it time to dry before getting dressed. I havnt had any yellow marks on my clothes either.

I really wanted this product to work. I had heard about crystal deodorants for a while and liked the idea behind them. Unfortunately for me it didn't work. I am not a big sweater, but I did notice that I wasn't as fresh at the end of the day as I am with other deodorants.

I also think I like a bit of fragrance in a deodorant (this one has none) and also the roller was very stiff and didn't roll smoothly.

I have repurchased the unscented spray version of this. I like to use this before bed and also on feet. The pros of this is that it kills the bacteria and so although you will sweat it won't stink or at least not as much. This is good for bedtime when you aren't going to move around but don't want to wake up with stinky armpits. I do find that when I spray this on at night my deoderant works better the next day. The spray is also handy for feet if your feet get stinky and sweaty then spraying this on them and leaving them to dry for a few minutes helps to lessen the foot odour you get when your socks come off. I wouldn't recommend this in place of a anti-perspirant as you will be left down if you wear this to the gym or to work, but this is like a boost for your regular deoderant you can wear this underneath it overnight and the next day your deoderant is more effective. Sometimes I overheat I at night and I have to wash my armpits before applying my deoderant in the morning but this helps my deoderant be more effective most days. One bottle lasts me many months so definitely worth the price.

I picked up this deodorant from one of the beauty vaults. I really like the idea of using something more natural under my arms and I've heard that crystal is such a great natural product to use. This is a pretty convenient product as it incorporates the crystal in a convenient roller ball bottle.

This is packaged just like any other deodorant, except it has a bit more product in it so I think thats good especially as you do pay quite a bit more for this. I find this easy to use, it rolls on nicely and dries reasonably quickly with no residue going on my top after. This says it is unscented. To me this has an incredibly strong vinegar scent. I can be in the bathroom after using a scented body wash, scented lotion plus perfume and I can still smell this the most. I also catch whiffs of it throughout the day if I lift my arm which I really dislike. I could maybe get past this if I really enjoyed the product though. While I feel like it is stopping me from smelling like BO, I sort of feel slightly sticky under my arms and I just feel a bit unclean as well. I haven't put this to the test by doing a big sweaty workout but it has been ok on some really hot days. I don't think I'd feel confident using it in the high summer heat though.

I'm going to stop using this for now but I'll keep it and see if I want to use it again when the weather gets cooler. I really hate not using something up and since it does work, I'd like to give it another go. I think if you can get past the smell and really want to try out something natural, this could be the product for you.

I bought this in the mother's day beauty box . Normal looking roll on deodorant ion a white container with lavender colours of crystal shades and lavender and black writing. With 80 mls this is a generous size and has a good screw white opaque top.The ball roll freely with plenty of product. Not tested on animals and made in Australia .I miss a scent as this is scent free however this is a good product. I get hot really easily and I found using this deodorant really good and definitely left no white stains on my clothes.At $13.80 it is a little dearer than usual but as it is a natural product and a good size I feel it is value for money.

I go to the gym every second day and using this product I found I wasn't as near as sweaty smelling as I normally am. I enjoy the fact that it has no fragrance which prevents body odour and fragrance mixing together which is still unpleasant. I would definitely buy this product again as it stops the body odour directly from the source of perspiration instead of covering it up like other deodorants.

I remember leaving home and going on a "healthy me" phase, I purchased a body crystal for around $15 at the time, it was a whole new concept to the normal roll on deodorant, with this one you have to wet the surface before rolling it under your arm pits, it does feel strange because its not as smooth and soothing as normal deodorants but it does work! I would compare it to a hard rock and rubbing it under your arms, it kept sweat at bay especially in Summer and it lasted a lot longer than the average roll on.

Also being a big fan of black, it never leaves any residue or marks on your clothing, back then it was so hard to find a deodorant that didn't leave any marks. It has the tiniest salty smell which doesn't overpower any perfumes that you wear.

This is a fantastic deodorant and goes above and beyond on what it says it would do. I realised I used less deodorant when I was using this because it did the job the first time and I didn't have to keep re-applying thru the day.

I will admit I purchased this a little sceptically as I have used quite a few natural deodorants that just have not delivered, but this turned out to be well worth it! It didn't stain my clothes like many of those white ones you buy,and worked really really well at keeping me odour free! I like that it had no smell as when it comes to natural deodorants many of them use essential oils and some can be too overpowering! I also recommended to my best friend who bought one too and is loving it!
