Nivea Lip care

This is a tricky one.... I absolutely love the smell of this product! The packaging is also incredibly cute and it feels nice when first put on, but it dies out straight away! I find myself constantly having to re-aply it to keep my lips moisturised. It also melts really easily. Its not like I put my makeup in an oven or anything, but during sumer when it is in my handbag, it melts and gets stuck to the lid or mushes everywhere.

Nivea lip care

After years of using Nivea Lip Balm, this has to be by far the worst one yet. Dont get me wrong, it smells amazing! However, whenever I applied it, It felt as if my lips were being dried out, not "caring" for them at all, espically if ones lips were already dry, this lip balm makes those small imperfections stand out immediatly! The pearly shine also does not look appealing

Perl and shine

Not a fan at all!! Total waste of money. Most of the time I just ise lip balm when my lips are dry and want to add that but of moisture to them, so I was highly disappointed when I used this and with in a few minutes my lips were dryer than normal and left feeling horrible. Not to mention the glitter and slight colour to the lip balm, the colour didn't blend in at all and looked like I had smeared face paint on my lips.

No!

This gets a big no from me!

I am always on the hunt for a lip balm which I love but I am yet to find one!!

So the Nivea Lip Care Pearl and Shine, the things I hated the most? it was heavy and greasy. It felt 'cakey' on my lips, especially if they were a little dry. I didn't find the shine at all appealing, I expected it to have a slight pink pearly tinge but in my opinion it is more silver and highlights any dryness.

The only upside I will give this is the smell, it smells great and really girly. Sort of a creamy strawberry flavour - you might be tempted to eat it! But don't... even a layer on my lips tasted like Vaseline.

This goes on really thick but does nothing to help dryness. It reminds of the old fashioned chap sticks.

The classic Nivea lip balm beats this hands down!

Nivea Lip Care Fan...

As with the other Nivea Lip care products Pearl and Shine it did everything it said in the description however I didn't think this colour suited me as much as the cranberry and strawberry which I still use every day.

My go to daily....

Nivea Lip care products Pearl and Shine is fantastic. I have used it for years. I'm not really a lip stick person but like to have a little bit of colour and this does the trick for day wear and work. I haven't been able to find it lately and am missing it. :( It not only conditions your lips but adds a hint of colour.

Tips: Keep one of these in your hand bag for keeping your lips soft and smooth in the winter months.

Best of both worlds!

I love Nivea pearl and shine. I am allergic to lipstick but I always have a lip balm in my pocket or my purse so that I can apply it whenever and wherever. This one is great because not only does it make my lips feel soft and hydrated, it also adds a little bit of glamour.

Not my cup of tea

I bought this lip balm, used it for a couple of times and gave up on it. I did not like the smell the feeling of it on my lips. It does not moisturise my lips well as I expected. Worst lip balm I have ever tried

Nice easy and just a tint of colour

I really like using this on the days I have a make up day off as I would usually use a coloured lipgloss it's got a hint of a pearl pink colour it glides on so smoothly the only thing that I don't care to much for is the taste it's got bit of a weird taste and not to keen on it it lasts on my lips for 20mis or so before you feel like you need to reapply so not a long lasting solution if you are looking for something for dry lips does moisturise them but only for the time it's on your lips really I would buy this again as its just a great neutral product to have in ur make up or handbag

Not for me

Not for me. Usually I am a fan of Nivea, but this lip balm looked terrible on me. When I bought this I hoped it would be softening and moisturizing, but all it did was cling to my dry lips. Even when my lips we in great condition, they still managed to caked, cracked and dry. The silvery colour completely washed me out. Only plus was the sweet and simple packaging. Sadly I feel like this, for me at least was a waste of money. I definitely am not going to repurchase this.
