Coconut Oil Range

Loved the fact that this range is paraben free and the packaging is made partly from recycled plastic. Has a great price point. Was not expecting to see blue packaging, not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of coconut, but I did like the flat shape, it stacks easily in the bathroom. Most products have a pump bottle which is nice.

Coconut fan club

I am a huge fan of Schwarzkopf and I was so surprised this is one of their pet projects. For a start it looks totally different to the extreme care range of theirs etc. It’s a very stylish looking set with the blue all matching and lining up for the flavour across the range.

The smell is pretty consistent across the blue set also. It’s a good smelling coconut not sickly or sweet. Definitely looks like it would appeal to males and females.

All look to have some natural based ingredients and also claim to leave out some that’s are not that great for us. Another bonus is the packaging is partially recycled. They are really trying to change things up with a few small alterations.

The consistency across the range is nice jothingseems greasy, oily, sticky. The one thing I would suggest would be use the appropriate amount for fine vs thick hair.. more or less adjust to suit.

I am obsessed with the shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. The pump is game changing, time saving! The shampoo and conditioner are a great pairing for fine hair.

The lotion has been so good on my skin especially with the change of season. No dry skin yet.

This has been a really fun trial and I have looked out for this already in store but no luck yet. Have a look on their website for a nosy anyways as I was curious - it’s a fun looking website and there appears to be more scents to the range.

Thanks BR xx

Nice concept but too smelly.

This range came with a shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion and leave in hair conditioner.

I tried the shampoo and leave in conditioner first.

The shampoo had a strong chemically smell that my nose didn't like, so that was a bit off putting to start with. But it foamed up okay given it didn't have any lauryl sulfates and rinsed out well. It also appeared to not strip any oils or colour out of my hair which was pleasing.

The leave in conditioner has a really nice texture, I used 4 pumps (too much) the first time and then 3 pumps thereafter. Too much left my short hair a bit greasy but 3 was just right. Less is definitely more with this product.

Having trialled the leave in conditioner first, I then tried the conditioner post shampoo a few days later. This had a nice milky texture, easy to squeeze out of the bottle and better smelling than the shampoo. For my short hair, I used a blob the size of a 10 cent piece, massaged it between my hands and applied it to my hair. I left it a minute then rinsed it out. No greasy after feel post rinse and my hair looked shiny after it had dried.

Next up I tried the shower gel and body lotion. Again the shower gel had quite a strong chemical coconut smell that my nose didn't like but I tried it over a week to see if I got used to it, sadly it wasn't for me based purely on that one factor. Too stinky.

The body lotion was thankfully much nicer and less stinky than the shower gel. Really nice texture, not too runny or thick and absorbs pretty quickly. About 3 pumps per lower leg and full arm and a bit more for my stomach and chest. No greasy after feel which was a bonus. This was probably my favourite product across the range so I think I'd buy it again.

(Across the whole range, it appeared the smell was strongest across the clear products and less so amongst the milky ones, the manufacturer needs to address this in my opinion.)

It's a pity this range has such variation in smell across the range. Some people may like a strong coconut smell, but sadly I'm not one of them. I prefer something a bit more subtle. As I've said the only product I would use across this range again would be the body range.

Blue coconut

When I think coconut, I don't think the colour blue. But the range does come in beautiful bright cobalt blue bottles, which are very eye catching.

The range has beautiful tropical coconut smell though some slightly differ in type of smell, which was a bit jarring. I would have preferred them all smelling exactly the same. The scent lasts quite a long time.

The great thing about this range is they are free from sulfates, silicones, and parabens, and the bottle is made with 25% Post-Consumer Recycled Materials. They are also free from artificial colours so the product is clear or white - not blue!

All the products provided great moisture and hydration, coming from the coconut oil. My hair was left feeling very soft and smooth.

The shampoo and conditioner come in pump bottles, and the body wash come with a cap. I prefer these were the other way round. In particular it took ages to pump out enough shampoo. So I put the cap from the body wash on the shampoo and the pump from the shampoo on the body wash. Still have the pump on the conditioner which is annoying but at least I use less pumps for that.

Overall the range is nice. I might buy again, but have no idea where it is sold.

Tips: If, like me, you hate pumps on shampoo bottles, swap with the lid from the body wash.

Nature Box Coconut Oil Range

Thank you BR for this wonderful trial opportunity.

The Nature Box Coconut Oil range is a lovely range of vegan, pH neutral, completely natural products which have an amazing coconut scent. The products are also very easy to use except that I think the body wash should also be in a pump bottle like the rest of the range.

The whole range left my hair and skin feeling a lot more softer which is fantastic.

I love that this range has a lot of vitamins, essential elements and intense hydration along with being 100% safe for the whole family to use. What's not to love about that?

I am currently really enjoying using this range and would highly recommend and I'm sure I will repurchase it again and possibly try the other products as well.

Tips: Roughly $60 for the whole range, I think that's great value for money.

Firstly, thanks BR for this awesome trial! You guys are my favourite internet fairies!

This is one of the lowest scores I've given any product review. The reason is that the branding of 'Nature Box' had me excited to use something 'natural' - or at least with 75% natural ingredients. I felt mislead when I read the ingredients on each separate product and saw the lists of long chemical names and numbers. If you're looking to get into truly natural skincare (which I am!) this is not the brand to achieve that sadly.

But my experience with each item was also very average. I've mentioned in each review that this scent was a surprising not-quite-coconut smell which I didn't particularly enjoy. And none of the products delivered WOW results. They performed like any other shampoo/conditioner/shower gel.

My least favourite was the body lotion, which was thin and didn't lock in as much moisture as I need.

I was also left confused by the Milky Moisture Mist. It was milky yet oily, and not especially nourishing to my damaged hair.

Maybe my expectations were waaaaaayyyyyy off the mark. If so, please let me know! At any rate there are other products in the same (or cheaper) price range that perform amazingly well which I will continue to use.

Tips: Thanks BR Beauties!

I was quite excited to try this range after having a gander at their Instagram page, the products looked very nice and definitely promoted the "nature" theme. The packaging is bright blue and definitely catches the eye. Most products have a pump also.

However, I found the range as a whole to be quite average. I didn't think they provided anything spectacular in the way of hydration (after claiming to provide intense hydration) and the scent wasnt particularly captivating either.

The two products I felt were best were the shampoo and conditioner which did leave my hair feeling nice and soft. The shower gel done its job also but the leave in conditioner spray and the body lotion left much to be desired.

I also felt like the range gives the impression it is made with all, or mostly, natural ingredients which is not the case. It is vegan and ethically sourced however so thats a plus.

These products are on the more expensive end of supermarket prices ($15 for the shampoo/conditioner), so they are not something I would purchase again. However I will continue using the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. The body lotion will go to the cupboard for emergencies.

Nature Bix Coconut Range

This is a range of body care and hair care products. The body range consists of a shower gel and body lotion. The hair care has a shampoo, conditioner and a moisturising spray. They all have a light coconut scent and are inbright blue, 25% recycled bottles. The shampoo and shower gel have no sulfates and the lotion and conditioners have no parabens or silicones either. The shampoo cleanses really nicely and is moisturising. My hair likes it. It is clean and soft with a bit of body. The conditioner is a typical conditioner that doesn't need to stay in your hair. You can apply and then rinse out straight away. It conditions really well, and my daughter who has shoulder length, tight curls, LOVES it. The moisturising spray detangles instantly and freshens your hair while giving it a moisture boost. The shower gel cleanses with a nice lather that doesn't dry your skin and the lotion moisturises surprisingly well for a lotion that feels quite thin. They all compliment each other really well and gives your showering routine a bit of a spa feel.

Tips: Would be a really nice gift package to a new mum, or anyone else who would appreciate it.

Nature Box Body Range...Coconut

These products come in blue bottles with black labels. I think these look great. There is good info and simple instructions on the bottles. I have noticed a big improvement in my hair and a huge improvement in my skin after using these products. They have a slight scent, with the moisturizer having the strongest scent. I was almost expecting my hair to end up oily, as this is how my roots tend to be. My hair is softer and looks healthier but I don't have the oiliness that often comes with added moisture. I have had the biggest improvement in my skin. I have often had to moisturize several times a day, but with these products once has been enough. The bonus with the products is there are less nasties. I would definitely use these products again.

Nature box coconut set

This nature box contains 5 different skin care and hair care products. All of the products are in a blue packaged bottled, most with twist pumps which make them easy to use. They are great size products making them value for money. The claim to be natural, using no nasties and the bottles are made from recycled products, making them environmentally friendly. I found the skin care lotion to be lovely. A great coconut smell which is moisturising. The down side is that you’ll have to moisturise daily. The shower/ body wash is effective, but nothing special. It does have a nice coconut scent to it. I would have preferred for the scent to linger on my skin but it didn’t. The hair care range is average. The shampoo and conditioner are effective. The results I noticed are the same as other products anyone can purchase from a supermarket and for a cheaper price.

Tips: Would make a nice gift set.
