Maybelline Baby Lips Love Color Review

I love carrying my lip balm around everywhere with me. It's always in my handbag, it's perfect for if I forget to apply my lipstick and I'm already out it's great to top up, it's also super hydrating so it will keep moisturising your lips throughout the day.

It also can be used as a base for any really drying lipsticks, like matte colours, but if you are doing this method I would recommend not applying too much so it doesn't ruin your matte lipstick.

Oh, I love this balm I've been using it for years, and sometimes I sneak it on when I've applied really drying matte lipstick and my lips need hydrating!

It's moisturizing, smells so good and adds a nice colour to the lips. I find it very pigmented for a lip balm so a little goes a long way for the colour but if you want to build up the intensity of the colour you can with more layers. It feels great on the lips and pleasant to wear. Love the affordable price too.

I brought this, not realizing it was different from the original baby lips, so it was a welcomed surprised when i realized it had a slight tint to it.

As for the pacakging. It is the exact same as the original baby lips, coming in a plastic cylinder container with a lid that pop on and off. The only slight difference in packaging is that this range has the word 'colour' on the packaging, but this wasn't something id noticed initially, so it clearly doesn't have much impact.

The lip balm is solid, and twists up out of the cylnder tube. It is pinky-red in colour, and its quite hydrating, without being greasy, of waxy so that's awesome. It not only adds a hint of colour to my lips, but also adds a slight shine so this is a balm i can wear when im wearing a low maintenance look, no makeup at all, or even when im all dolled up and want a simple lip. Really versatile, and is small so its easy to take with you everywhere.

You really can't go wrong with maybelline lip balms. I brought this today (so cheap, if you loose one it won't break the bank) and I have one in every flavour and in almost every pocket!

The tint is lovely, just red enough to give your face a bit of colour, but not bold enough to overpower your look. As per usual, the lip balm does the job. It's smooth application, lasts a decent amount of time and smells yummy as... All it needs is a hint of spf and it'd be perfect.

i brought these because I loved the previously released ones! I wondered how it would colour my lips with how cheap it is? Well when you first apply it, it has a creamy texture and doesn't feel like the lipbalm disappears from your lips or feel cheap. It gives you a nice pink colour (all of them are some type of pink). I love it

This stuff is so good! I bought the watermelon flavour and the smell of it makes me want to eat it! It glides on to my lips so easily and it stays on for ages. Sometimes I just wear this when I'm out because it gives a slight flush to your lips and its super moisturising which is perfect for everyday. I have very dry lips and this has kept them moisturised and looking great.

I have this in Cherry Kiss and I absolutely adore it. The smell is amazing, just like cherry candy, but it doesn't taste like cherry which for me is good because I'm not tempted to lick it off. These particular balms give the sheerest amount of colour out of all of the tinted balms I've tried from Baby Lips, so it's perfect for those super natural days. The Electro Pop ones are the most pigmented so go for those if you like bright, slightly more pigmented balms that are still super moisturizing. Just like the regular baby lips these leave my lips feeling so soft and totally protect them from further damage. Oh and also once I wipe it off at the end of the day I find it stains my lips quite nicely. Might try using it as a cheek stain soon.

The is a nice balm but doesn't wear long or moisturize long term, I find the originals better, but for those no makeup days or beginner makeup wearers, it is OK... was hoping for a bit more, like tht of the coloured maybelline balms I see from the US which every one likes and has nicer packging... this packaging is very old school

I bought this today from Farmers in the shade Berry crush and I absolutely adore it! It's not a very intense colour which I love about it, but it is definitely noticeable and great for those days when I don't want to be wearing too much makeup. It definitely does moisturise my lips and glides on smooth. I would 100% buy this again, I just can't wait to buy the other shades!!
