Maybelline Baby Lips Love Color Review

I have a love/hate relationship with tinted lip balm. On one hand it gives your lips a bit of colour when you don't want lipstick. On the other hand, you can't always apply it without a mirror making its use more limited.

This lip balm is no exception. I love the colour it produces and I especially love how I can apply it to a fading/peeling lipstick and regenerate the colour with the pinky tinge of the lip balm. It also makes the lipstick really moisturizing.

In terms of the colour it products, it is translucent. But it is tinted enough that it shows clearly on your lips (and skin, so don't slather it like pawpaw ointment).

I wouldn't say the lip balm lasts 8 hours, maybe 3. Nor would I say I have baby lips. That said my lips were probably already as smooth as they could get, which is possibly why this product doesn't feel any different.

I would never have brought this, but after trying it I'm rethinking that.

I love the color it moisturisers my lips so well and makes them smooth I recommend this its amazing and I get compliments for it.

I love this lip balm. It's little so it fits everywhere and it smells delicious! Puts on an amazing pop of colour. Applies easily And smoothly, long lasting and is amazing for moisturising your lips!!! Love it!

loves colour.... Yes that's me. This is great product for who doesn't want wear any lipstick kind thing but they want some colour on their lip. I have both colour berry crush and pink Lolita. This balm provide you colour and moisturiser both at one and gives you nice pink shimmering colour.

Lip balm comes in tube like other lip blam comes.

I can't get enough of the entire range! Love these so much :) I have a much brighter tinted baby lips at the moment along with this one and I take them everywhere I go.

I picked this up on a race through of the warehouse. It had been out a while and I had seen it around previously.

Part of me was curious about the range but I had a feeling they would be sort of like a chapstick as that has the same tube style. Does it melt easily? is this why they picked that packaging rather than a lipstick style. The tube is still more cleaner than a little tub of balm with fingers going in repeatedly.

There is a slight scent to this, cherry or berry? It is also tinted lightly pink. This is what I may call a make up for the gym, rather than wear no makeup at the gym this is so you don't feel makeup naked. This is a cheaper version of the Chubby sticks Baby Tint from Clinique and substantially cheaper on the pocket.

I don't plan on buying this again unless they change the packaging as I like to show off my lipstick.

I love this so much. I have a stick of it in my favourite jacket pocket and another stick in my handbag. I can't get enough of it.

I have used a lot of baby lips products and I have a couple in this range which are lovely.

What I like about this product is that the packaging is so cute! And it's a good sized tint that can slip in your pocket easily. I also love the scent. Nice and strong and yummy, but comparing to the non tinted lip balms the flavour isn't as fruity but more perfume-like.

I love the colours also, a perfect traditional tint to give a lovely succulent look.

The downsides to this product is that it is not as creamy as the non-tinted baby lips lip balms. It is still moisturising but compared to the non-tinted it isnt as much and it also isn't as long lasting. If it was more creamy it would last longer and not fade in the first hour or two.

But all together I do enjoy the product. It isn't my go-to but it does come in handy on those 'bare makeup days' and good for kids/Tweens to enjoy also.

This is my go to lip balm. My favourite shade is Rose Addict, as it adds a subtle rosey sheen to my lips. The Berry Crush is looks like a bright sheer red on my lips, not quite natural but still pretty gorgeous. I really like the packaging, as it stands out in my makeup purse and is therefore easy to find when I’m in a rush. As for 8hr of moisturizing, for me it doesn’t even come close to lasting that long but for me that isn’t a big issue. Despite it not being long lasting, it still does a great job at putting moisture back into my lips. I honestly don’t think there are better tinted lip balms on the market. I can’t recommend them enough.

I was excited to try these! I bought this on sale, in my opinion they are slightly overpriced!

They are your typical lip balm package, roll up, watch the balm rise. The balm glides on nicely, there is a slight smell, I would have liked something more fruity! Anyway the colour gives a nice light tint of red, enough to keep your lips looking natural and fresh. I find it doesnt keep for long, have to reapply several times in an hour if you want to have balmy lips.
