I had been searching for a decent low end highlighter for a while and had seen lots of baked ones so thought I would give it a go, as the liquid one I had was a mess. It is the perfect colour and consistency as the one I was using had be chunks of sparkles.

Tips: Apply with a fan brush for perfect placement
It is so perfect for the price, I apply this with my finger as I find it clings to my brushes and I then have to use a lot of product to get my desired effect. It gives a beautiful subtle glow and really lasts! I'm such a face toucher, so I really need products that stay on well, and this does the trick!
Recently I went on an ELF binge and ordered a heap of their items to try. I loved the look of these so I ordered all three... But I have only been using one, moonlight pearls, so that is the one I will be reviewing.
True to its name, moonlight pearls evokes both the moon and pearls. In its packaging it actually reminded me of a moon, that is drenched in crushed pearls. Even in the package it looks glowy and gleams and just stunning.
The thing I love about this product is that it's sheer yet pigmented. What I mean is that it is subtle but you can see it - one swipe is definitely enough if you want a subtle gleam. I really like that you can build this up to the coverage you like - you can make it as light or heavy as you want, and I find this user friendly.
The places I like to sweep this on are my cheekbones, forehead and cuspids bow. Since wearing this I have had two girlfriends ask me what it was because they thought it was so beautiful.
One other thing I absolutely love about this and loathe about other highlighters I have used, is that this has no glitter in it whatsoever. Personally I really don't want glitter on my face (except occasionally my eyelids), and this doesn't have any.
Overall this is an incredible product that is soooooo cheap! (I got mine for $3 off their website, www.eyeslipsface.com). I plan on testing out the other two in the following two weeks and have already added moonlight pearls to my elf cart for when I purchase from them again.
Tips: Skip buying a high end, expensive highlight and seriously try this out.
I bought this as soon as I learnt what highlighter was and i thought I would get an affordable product to try first as if I didn't like it I wouldn't have wasted any money. So to start with the price. I think I paid $2-3 for this and that is so inexpensive!
I got this in the shade moonlit pearls and it is a champagne kind of colour. I chose this colour as it was less pinky than the other two shades of elf baked highlighters.
The pigmentation is pretty good for such an affordable product and I have been super impressed with it. It gives my skin that perfect glow without being over the top. I use this to highlight my cheek bones, cupids bow and the bridge of my nose.
When I purchased this I got a fan brush at the same time to apply it with however I found that when used with a fan brush the product tended to stick to the brush and not transfer so well to my face. I now use it with a variety of brushes that are more dense than a fan brush and I love it much more.
It also last for ages! I have been using this for such a long time now however it doesn't even look like I have used anything!
I definitely recommend this product to anybody from beginner to pro at make-up.
Tips: Use with a dense brush rather than a fan brush to avoid the product sticking to the brush and not transferring to your skin.
Also you can swipe this along your collar bones for a subtle glow there.
I purchased this in the shade pink diamonds which is a frosty pale pink and didn't have high hopes for it, considering it only cost me $3! But wow I am impressed.
I find one swipe of my brush in the pan gives the perfect amount of glowing shimmer to my cheek bones without looking unnatural. It also makes a beautiful brow bone highlight shade and inner corner brightening shade. Very very happy I decided to try this out.
This is definitely a product I would highly recommend everyone who uses highlighting products gives a go. I will most certainly repurchase this if I ever run out (but I do not see that happening with the tiny amount you use and the decent amount you get) and might even try out some of the other shades. They are ridiculously cheap so why not?!
Tips: I use my real techniques contour brush to lightly apply to my cheekbones (only on the upper cheekbone not all the way down) and connect this to my brow bone highlight. I find this brush is the perfect size and allows you to apply the perfect amount of product.
I really like this product, I have it in moonlight pearl. It's a shimmery light beige colour. I like the packaging, it looks really pretty under the clear cover. I feel like it will last such a long time as well since you don't need to use much. I've only used it dry, just on top of my cheekbones and it does give a sheer, subtle colour that isn't super obvious. You could easily build it up if you wanted more glow. I think that it's great as it would be hard to mess it up too much.I got mine off iherb, I think it was $2.99 us so a bargain really. I wouldn't mind trying a few other colours of it too.
Tips: I use a kabuki or big powder brush to apply, tap off the excess as well and lightly brush over what you want to highlight.
I think these highlights are good value for money! I don't have many baked highligters/blushers so I thought I would give it a try and I really enjoyed it. Very pretty colour and good pigmentation. This product adds a nice healthy glow to your skin!
Tips: Look on Iherb for cheaper ELF :)
