I have thick frizzy hair at times and purchased this product to combat the frizz. This was going to be a cheaper alternative to buying moroccan oil. Unfortunately this product when it dried made my hair frizzer. I spoke to hairdressers about this and they said that it was water based. I do not know how correct this is but it definitely did not help me with fly aways and frizz. I think my hair was too thick and dry for this product.

This is the best im not a fan of oil serums but this is my favorite. It leaves my hair feeling lite and soft. i love how you can use it before you shower after you shower and during and after styling and it doesnt leane your hair looking or feeling oily. A super must.
Definitely one of my favourite hair oils. It's very light and doesn't make your hair greasy. There is a lot in the bottle, but I do feel like this has been getting more and more expensive, I'm actually shocked to see that the value here is $20 .. I've been seeing them for around $28-30.
BUT, I do LOVE the L'Oreal hair oil and highly recommend it!
I bought this whilst travelling to combat a bout of fantastic frizz. I have fine, curly hair and gently rubbing a bit of product into the ends of freshly washed hair did manage to combat some of my feisty frizzy bits. A very good product (but still not quite as good as the very well known hair oil on the market). ;)
Tips: To avoid making your hair look greasy or limp, only use on the tips of your hair i.e from the ears down (not at the roots)!
For a drugstore product, this stuff really helps my bleached and stringy hair look healthy.
I use a pump or so and run it through my hair when it's wet, otherwise it would be too oily.
Bottle is quite heavy and annoying for traelling though
I purchased this along with the matching shampoo and conditioner. I always like to use matching sets if they have them as I just feel like you get the best results that way.
I like to use this after I have washed my hair, after towel drying I pump a little into my hands and rub them together to warm the oil up then distribute evenly throughout. Then I blow-dry and straighten and then use a tiny amount to smooth down any frizzy bits.
This leaves my hair looking sleek, shiny and healthy. If you use too much you will look like you have been through the chip fryer lol so just remember less is more!
It is a lovely oil and a bottle lasts for ages, it smells amazing and it makes your hair look and feel great. Highly recommend it.
Comes in a clear gold glass botyle with gold pump. I bought mine from the Warehouse. Lasts a long time. I still havent finished my bottle and I use it on my daughters hair as well. Needless to say a little goes a long way. I use one pump for wet hair. Makes my hair soft and shiny and feels very smooth. It has got a pleasant smell as well. Doesnt weigh down the hair or makes it greasy. Tames flyaways as well.
My hair was very damaged from bleaching and it did wonders for it ( couldnt get a comb through my hair without applying this oil). Would buy again when I have finished my old bottle.
Tips: Apply from mid lengths to end mostly.
I was introduced to this via the fabulous BBBE hair box, and thank goodness for that discovery! (Hence I'm a BBBE addict). I have very fine and frizzy hair that is prone to being as obstinate as a toddler in the supermarket who has spotted he candy aisle....if the weather is too hot, it frizzes, too wet, it frizzes. And many hair serums are just too heavy for my fine hair, so weight it down and make it go limp and greasy. I have tried many, many different products over the years to achieve that un-frizzy, yet not-limp look, without a huge amount of success. But enter Lóreal Elvive Extraordinary haily oil, which for once, is actually extraordinary. It tames the frizz yet still gives my hair body, which is what we all want, right? And happily, despite not having a hair cut in a year, because I'm trying to have longer hair, I don't seem to be suffering split ends, which I put down to this lovely hair oil. Win!
Tips: I just squirt about 3-4 pumps and rub my hands together then spread through my hair while still damp after washing, concentrating especially on the ends, then comb. Voila!
I managed to get this when it was on sale other wise I'm not to sure I would pay that much for it. I love the matching shampoo and conditioner so was wanting to see how much better it could get with all 3.
It comes it a pump bottle of gold goodness. As it says you can use it for a bunch of different things just becareful not to use to much as it can make your hair look oily. 1 pump is more than enough just to shine it up and give it a boost. But as a treatment I tend to use 3 or 4.
I wouldn't normally purchase at the price but if you grab it on sale definitely give it a go.
I tried a sample of this product a few years ago and honestly didn't try hard enough to get my hands on it, even though it did amazing things for my hair! I now have an entire bottle which I use after every time I wash my hair or occasionally for smoothing after styling. My hair is long, thick and slightly wavy, if not volumuos! When I apply this product I notice instant changes with how it sits. It is much more calm and easier to style. My hair is also dry so this oil is very nourishing for it. It smells amazing and I have had lots of comments on that. I will be continuing to use this product on my hair, it produces very good results which I have never found with regular leave in conditioners.
Tips: Use more on the ends of the hair to keep it healthy. Can be used all over to smooth styled hair but use much less than if putting it through slightly damp hair after showering.
