There's a reason they've kept it around, I tried this for the first time in my teens (I'm now 31) and it still works as it did then. When I want sleek and straight hair, this is one of the products I use and bonus that the oil smells amazing! The more amount you put in, the more oily it makes your hair look so you only need one pump to put through your hair and add if you need more,

Tips: A little goes a long way
The packaging is really attractive and the first thing that caught my eye on the shelf. The product gets rid of the majority of frizz in my hair but doesn't give a 100% sleek and smooth effect. When straightening my hair it does gave me oftness and shine. One has to be very careful how much you apply to your hair as using too much will leave your hair looking greasy. It makes my hair have a really beautiful, natural shine, soft and manageable and really gets rid of some of the frizz. Also it has a very lovely, pleasant smell. As this product is really inexpensive and works relatively well, I would recommend this to my friends
Tips: Be careful about the amount applied. Less is more as too much will leave your hair greasy.
I bought this product at a Farmers sale as I was on the lookout for a frizz-tamer and thought the smell was nice, liked the addition of argan oil, and decided to test it out.
The size is good and I only really need one pump to do all of my hair, but I've found that it makes my hair immediately greasy if I put it in when my hair is dry so I'd really recommend putting it in when your hair is damp.
It doesn't live up to the claim of keeping your hair sleek and shiny for three days, I find that by the second day it makes my hair feel and look heavy and greasy, however it does make my hair feel wonderfully soft and lovely on the day it's applied.
You can't really put it into your roots because it goes greasy very quickly which is annoying for me as I bought it to sleeken my frizzy baby hairs.
It's good for the price but I wouldn't buy it again personally.
I used this at first when my hair was damaged and I was desperate for it to look shiny again.
The oil itself is nice, and there's plenty of it for the spend, however it is super greasy so you only need the tiniest amount, and even then it might be too much. For my damaged hair it didn't really do a whole lot except leave it looking greasy
Since then, I've gone on to have a pixie cut, and my hair is really healthy, so continuing using this product I now do really like using it to give a little extra shine and texture to my style, which it does really easily. I still need to wash it out each day otherwise I'm left with really oily, flat looking hair but the shine when styling with it is really impressive.
It's not my most favourite shine oil, but value for money this is fantastic if used really sparingly.
I love this product on my wavy/curly hair and even when I straighten it. It took me a while to really figure out how it worked best for me. The scent is great, but it can be easy to put too much product into your hair. I find that this product does last a while as you really don't need much.
Tips: Start with half a pump, rub into your hands and start combing it through your hair, then see if you need to use more.
I did not like this in my hair at all. I have curly hair and with curls comes frizz. This felt like watery gel to me, and was sticky and just felt horrible, and my hair felt gross. I do like the smell though, it just didn't feel nice in my hair at all and made it look greasey and dirty
Well l lie. Garnier does change…just the ockaging to keep up with the times haha! The reason I am reviewing this is because I cleaned my room the other day and found this old bad boi. For reference: I am 28. I bought this product when I was 16 from a countdown supermarket for $15 and instantly regretted my impulse buy that broke the bank. I’m excited to say the smell, texture, grease factor and oil shine levels are that of a brand new bottle. This worries me a little that 12 years later this stuff still smells the same. Anyway. My hair is think and frizzy and I would basically LATHER my hair with it which, at the time, I would say made me look put together, effortless and left me smelling like people would want to lick my hair. I look back now and realise I looked rank. Oh well!
Tips: For all our sakes, just use half a pump. Don’t get too excited or your hair will seperate like gollum’s few greasy strands. Just a heads up.
Bought it on sale after a magazine sung its praises but super unimpressed. Just made my hair feel oily and greasy every time I tried it even though I experimented several time with using less. Also found its smell too fake and artificial and strong.
Like the colour of the bottle makes it stand out from other products. Serum has a nice fruity smell. I use a product that I bought from Kmart but it does not keep the fly aways at bay like this product from Garnier. Gives my hear a nice sleek and shiny look and keeps most of the frizz tame.
I would however be a bit careful on the amount being used as too much can make your hair oily and sticky feeling. I start off by using a little bit first and if I need more will add a very small amount to the existing product.
All in all for the price definitely worth it and will buy it again and recommend to friends

I found this product on sale about a year ago at The Warehouse, and was impressed by it's claims so I decided to give it a go. It doesn't quite live up to all it's claims but it does do a great job on my ends!
This comes in a big green bottle, and I find it is perfectly sized for the price. One of these usually lasts me around 2 months which is impressive!
You dispense it using a pump, and it is good to travel with because you can lock it into place so it won't leak.
This smells like a hair salon, it's great! It is quite greasy in texture, and doesn't really soak into your hair when it's dry so I recommend only using it when your hair is wet.
Every night when I condition my hair I use this JUST ON THE ENDS, and it keeps them great for ages. The ends of my hair are so soft and it helps prevent breakage when combing through my hair!
I will definitely be repurchasing this again, for the price it's just a small staple in my hair care routine.
Tips: Only use this when your hair is wet, as it is a very greasy oil AND only apply from the mid-length of your hair down! Otherwise you will get greasy roots/scalp.
