I only wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week, so I've only managed to use this a few times since it arrived and before the review was due, but at the moment, I think the conditioner is better than the shampoo.
Like all L'Oreal conditioners, it's thick! But its a good consistency thick - not heavy to use.
It doesn't really have a smell, which is good. I'm not into my hair being overly fragranced!
I think I use too much conditioner generally, so tried to be a bit more liberal with this, but ended up using another good blob as my hair felt like it needed more (like it felt dry, even though it was wet!), but this is not uncommon for me!
While I've only used a few times, I think this will last about the same as an average conditioner (given that I use heaps).
It seems to be along the lines of other L'Oreal conditioners in terms of price, so not too expensive - but possible to get some really good deals when its on offer (especially if I have to buy two bottles of conditioner to every bottle of shampoo!)
I like the flip top lid, it's pretty sturdy and nice to see it's made fully out of recycled materials and is fully recyclable.
Am I happy with the results? Like the shampoo - from day two, yes. Day one my hair feels clean, but isn't overly shiny and is quite weighted down (the two things that the bottle promises!). But day two (and sometimes 3), its bouncing and fully of volume, and where as I'd usually need half a can of dry shampoo to make it look and feel half presentable, I've needed very little, if any. But......this is the best detangling conditioner ever. With every other conditioner I spend at least 5 minutes trying to carefully comb out the knots that come from nowhere. It hurts, I loose hair. But not with this, a couple of half hearted combs and it's completely tangle free!
And because of that, I'll definitely use this again and recommend that you give it a go too.
L’Oréal elvive hyaluron pump conditioner I was sent to trial was lovely thick consistency. It was easy to squeeze out of the container, the small amount pressed out was required only, the size of a $2 coin. It was easy to put through my washed hair, I concentrated in the ends as the shampoo matted my hair at the ends. The shampoo easy dealt with the matting and made my hair soft and easy to run my fingers through. I would recommend conditioning every time you wash with the shampoo. I only washed my hair 3 x a week and it lasted well for not washing for 2 days, my hair felt soft, fresh and clean for longer. The colour is a nice pale lavender with a gentle fragrance of floral. As with the price of shampoo it ranged between $8-$10 so mid range for costs. This I think is more than reasonable for what it does, and the small amount each washing/conditioner that worked well and will be long lasting. The container has a good sturdy lid which is its base also. It sits well in the shower for when it’s required, the colour is my favourite- lavender. The embossed writing on the container stands out well, easy to see and easy to read. I feel great after washing my hair and that continues for the next 2 days, my hair feels clean, light, healthy, soft and manageable with the conditioner allowing this all to happen. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone who wishes to try it, the packaging states for all hair types and it works for everyone in my family.
Tips: $2 coin amount needed for the ends of your hair. Leave in for about 1-2 minutes for best results. If you are busy then the conditioner can be put into dry hair the night before as a mask and rinsed out the next morning, only a small amount is required for this.
