L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Shampoo Review

Being selected for this trial was great and I was really excited to try something new for my long, fine and often neglected hair! Unfortunately I didn't get the results I hoped for.

The Elvive packaging is eye catching and this was no exception, with turquoise and bright pink making the products look new and exciting. It promises to give you thicker fair fibres and that your hair will be visibly thicker with each wash. I found that it did feel more voluminous after the first trial but it didn't last and also didn't change the thickness of my strands.

The fragrance is a fresh and botanical scent that I did like a lot. I found the product wasn't bad, it just didn't do what it promised.

These products are a little more costly than most supermarket brands so I wouldn't recommend it just as a regular shampoo.

Sadly i did not find that this shampoo worked for its thickening benefits, I've used the product about 6 times since receiving this trial and was really excited to see results but sadly i didn't get any, although it has a nice fragrance and product just as a shampoo is nice, i did get flaky scalp for awhile but is slowly diminishing (think it was just adjusting to a different product.)the packaging is nice easy to spot on the shelves and easy to get product out.

I had the opportunity to trial the firbralogy shampoo for a number of weeks in conjunction with the fibralogy conditioner. I was super excited to try this product as I have relatively thin hair. The shampoo itself was packaged neatly and smelled amazing. I used the traditional lather, rinse, repeat method and whilst it did a good enough job at removing excess oil from my hair I didn't see any improvements in the overall thickness.

It's a decent shampoo if you're wanting something basic but if you're buying it under the impression that your hair is going to be miraculously thicker then you're in for some disappointment. It would be interesting to see what results have been achieved using the fibralogy shampoo and conditioner, along with the thickening serum of the same name.

Wouldn't buy this again. Really wanted to love it, but didn't notice my hair bring any thicker and after a week I noticed it was making my scalp very itchy. Tried it for 3 weeks then went back to a different shampoo.

I have loved using Fibralogy Shampoo! From Day 1 the product has really made a difference to my otherwise fine and lank hair. Now my hair feels fuller and really is much healthier and easier to manage. I find that it does not weigh my hair down or look/feel greasy like some other thickening shampoos have done. The fragrance is not overpowering. I like that you do not need to use alot of shampoo a small amount goes along way so the bottle has lasted awhile. Also I have not needed to wash my hair as often. Smart packaging love the green and pink bottles.

I would choose to buy this product again, very happy with the product it certainly delivers what it promises.

I had received this shampoo to review with the conditioner. I was really excited to try it out, as I feel the hair on top of my head is quite thin, it's not thick, and I want it to be more thicker and voluminous. My first thoughts on this shampoo was thumbs up, I honestly felt like my hair on top my head was thicker after a couple of washes. I have only been using this shampoo and conditioner so nothing else could have affected the results, but slowly it seemed as my thin hair on top of my head was going back to it's thin ways. Mixed results for me, but as of right now, I feel like my hair has not changed-in saying that I am going to continue use to see any changes. The consistency is quite runny I found, but I do like the scent, it is a really nice scent. I find my hair type is thin but wavy/curly/frizzy. I think the pricing is decent, and it definitely is something I would have purchased if I had not received from beauty review, as I've seen it all over tv ads. I would recommend for trial basis - everyone has different results plus it's not over priced.

Love this gear! The shampoo is a nice gentle smell and works up to a rich feeling lather. I've been using it maybe three times a week for the past two weeks and have definitely noticed a difference in the volume of my hair. I've got quite a sensitive scalp and the shampoo didn't cause me any issues. I would definitely buy this product again.

I accepted a long time ago that I am never going to have the thick curly hair that I dreamed of as a young girl instead of the fine brown hair that genetics actually gave me. Believe me when I say that I have tried everything under the sun!

Upon unwrapping the box containing L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibrology Shampoo, then reading through the instructions on the back of the bottle I was happy to see that the use of this product is uncomplicated! Just pour some on your hand and use it as you would any other shampoo. It smells nice, more of a pleasant smell than of a perfume one. The texture is good too and you don't need much to wash your hair with. I have had it since the beginning of the month and I have run out yet - BONUS!! And the price? I went to a supermarket today and found it for $3.89 on the shelf! Wow!

But does it actually work? Did it provide a visible difference to the thickness of my hair? I am not sure at this price range that you can expect Fibrology to do this on its own. It made my hair feel silky but even after a few days use I couldn't see a difference when using it on its own. However I find that nothing comes easy when you have fine hair so I continue to have to use a variety of products to layer up my hair and create the desired effect - more hair than I actually have!

Would I use it again - Yipe! At that price, why not? When you have fine hair like mine then every bit has to help doesn't it?

the first time I used this I wasn't to impressed as it left my hair feeling dry. after a second use I could feel my hair becoming a bit thicker as I have very fine hair. I used an argan oil on the ends of my hair but I would be very interested in pairing this with the treatment they have available in this range.

Definitely enjoyed trialling L'Oreal Paris Elvive Fibralogy shampoo. First impressions were good - smart-looking packaging in an eye-catching colour. The shampoo had a great smell and was of thick consistency; a little goes a long way. I have long hair which gets quite frizzy and is prone to static. My scalp and fringe get oily and I need to wash my hair every second day....however, once I started using this product I found I only had to shampoo every third day. Bonus! My hair felt noticeably thicker, had more volume and the frizz reduced. Will definitely buy this shampoo again.
