L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner Review

To be honest I'm not the biggest user of conditioner. I prefer my hair to be textured and not silky. This conditioner is a standard conditioner I think, I haven't used it too much yet. I put it in the ends of my hair as they are bleached and it does make them feel less dry.

I am a hairdresser and thought I'd give this a go but was not very impressed with it as there was no added volume at all. It smelt nice but that was it. I used it every 2nd-3rd day and nothing, I thought it might of been a gradual thickening but that didn't happen either. Was not impressed with this product at all.

The first thing I noticed with this conditioner is the really pretty colour of the bottle, it looks great and makes a pretty edition to my shower collection, my only concern with the packaging is that the lids seem to fill with water so you need to be careful when transferring between showers or into your overnight bag, other than that, you get a great amount of product for a very competitive price. The next thing that struck me about the product was it's smell which was much less frangrant than the shampoo and I quite like it. I would be more inclined to use the conditioner with a different shampoo as the smell was more subtle. The conditioner has a thick, creamy consistency which was easy to apply and distribute. I could almost instantly feel the softness returning to my hair I tried using this conditioner two couple of different ways - one wash then condition and the reverse technique condition then wash, both of which left my hair feeling nourished and healthy I have fine straight hair but a lot of it and it did feel as though I had more volume the first day of washing which is a huge plus as my hair is normally weighed down by its length (just skimming my lower back) however I don't think it retained this thickness which was my hope and I didn't notice increased thickness with every wash, however, it was great that the conditioner didn't weigh down my hair which really rich heavy conditioners can. Instead it left my hair feeling really healthy, light, soft and tangle free, I couldn't stop touching it! I would definitely purchase the product for the look and feel it gave my hair but perhaps the thickening results would come through more for someone who washes every day or every second day.

I thought that this product had a creamy consistency and was easy to use. It resulted in leaving my hair nice and silky. I thought that the size of the product was great and that it would last a few months. In conclusion it was a well rounded conditioner and smelt amazing.

I had used the matching shampoo and felt that it had stripped almost all the oils off my hair when used alone. This conditioner helped restore that smoothness and moisture to my hair. The packaging colour is not the best if you would like to match it to your bathroom interior but it is definitely easy to use. You do need to use a healthy amount of it to get it all through your hair-especially if you have particularly long hair like me. I think the conditioner smells pretty good, not overly chemical and nicely fragrant. My hair felt smoother, more moisturised and yes definitely a tad thicker after use. Although, don't think that this will make a huge difference in thickness after 1 wash.

I do feel like this conditioner contributed to a certain increase in thickness of my hair - whether that was a film left on my hair or not, I can't say. I will say however that it took repeated use over a few weeks to notice anything, which is fine. The conditioner smells nice (not too strong). I would use it again simply because I don't have any need for a different conditioner at the moment.

The packaging was bright, appealed to me, and easy to function; also for the price its quite economical in size. The consistency of the product was quite nice, and made my hair feel great once washed out. I used the product with the accompanying shampoo, but did not find a huge difference to the thickness of my hair in the long run. I washed my hair every 2nd or 3rd day, and while straight after drying etc my hair had more volume, it did not last. I was also not a fan of the smell, i found it quite chemically, if it wasn't for the smell I would've finished using the bottle.

Tried my hardest to get chosen to review this from beauty review but didn't get picked so went out and brought shampoo and conditioner anyway :)

First impressions are great, the packaging is so cool, the colours are great and I love how shampoo opens at the top and conditioner opens at bottom so you don't get confused.

The smell is really lovely, and not too strong, I find that I can still get scents of it in my hair when I got to get in the shower the next day.

You only need a small amount of the conditoner, it doesn't feel like much when you spread through your hair but it is enough, too much product and your hair is very greasy and doesnt last.

I got best results from leaving my conditioner in for a long time, the longer I left it the less tangled my hair was and I could easily brush my hands through without knots.

I found for me after using shampoo and conditoner and blowdrying, thicker look and feel to my hair however not so noticeable as that other people would notice.

I think this is all round a good product, wouldn't guarantee on the thickness part but the packaging, smell, quality, smoothness to my hair would make me buy again.

My first look at this product when it arrived was "WOW what cool colours!", I then cracked open the lid to smell the most amazing smelling conditioner, so devine and the scent sticks to your hair for a good couple of days. My hair appeared to look thicker (have no idea how?!) but I don't think my hair is actually any thicker at all. My hair can be really greasy and some products give me dandruff so far over the last couple of weeks using this product I haven't had any problems. I have used minimal amount of my product, less than quarter of the bottle in two weeks, so good to know you only need a little amount. The conditioner is easy to apply, lathering your hair leaving it feeling soft, smooth and untangled. I would definitely recommend a friend to buy this product.

The packaging for this set is very appealing to the eye, the colour combo looks great together.

As for the conditioner, I found it had a slightly musky smell to it, it was quite nice but not strong,

I didn't find that it actually "conditioned" my hair, my hair still had tangles and knots and felt dry. I used this every 2nd - 3rd day and had the same result.

I personally wouldn,t repurchase as I don't feel this product is right for my hair.
