L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner Review

I have shoulder length, fine, limp hair which has the tendency to go oily, so I don't normally use a conditioner as it often weighs my hair down, so was a little bit nervous to start using a conditioner. The product itself is packaged nicely and has a nice subtle fragrance. For the first week I conditioned (in conjunction with using the Fibralogy shampoo) and did not notice a difference in texture, however after about a week I did notice that my hair was slightly thicker and that the conditioner didn't weigh my hair down, which was great! It also slightly decreased the tangles in my hair, but not significantly. The best results I had from this product was when I let it sit in my hair for about a minute or so before washing it out.

I must admit conditioners can often be the enemy of a fine haired girl. Too heavy and we easily have an oil slick on our hands. So, with caution I added this conditioner to my routine. Using it on my lengths and ends, I found that this conditions without weighing hair down. Yay! I like the opaque white texture, Like the shampoo, it really sticks to the hair and you are not living in fear of losing it down the plug hole. The smell is very subtle which I prefer. My hair does appear thicker and it is soft to the touch.Will use again.

I had high hopes for this shampoo and conditioner combo. As said in my shampoo review I was comparing the Loreal Elvive Fibrology duo to the more expensive salon version Nioxin which I have been using for the past 8 months with great results. The conditioner has a smell very similar to the shampoo, which I consider a typical scent for supermarket haircare - not unpleasant but nothing special. I'm a sucker for conditioners especially that smell good enough to eat so that was definatly a small disappointment. I looked past that though and still was optimistic that this combo could be a great cheaper alternative. The conditioner was a very thick consistency and spread through my hair easily and left it soft after the wash. I did notice that when the shampoo and conditioner were combined they made my hair frizzy and static which I find extremely frustrating and discontinued using the conditioner after this. My hair continued to be slightly static when I swapped to another conditioner, but not as bad. As stated in my review of the Loreal fibrology shampoo I have definatly noticed that my hair feels thicker and has more volume but I don't really put this down to the conditioner, considering I have swapped to a toning conditioner while still using the shampoo and haven't noticed a change in thickness or volume. Overall I wouldn't repurchase this as a set I would probably only repurchase the shampoo!

I used the shampoo and conditioner in conjunction with each other from this range. The conditioner packaging is really nice and sleek, easy to dispense and a good size. The smell is pleasebt definitely fragrant so won't be for everyone. The conditioner is nice and creamy however for my very fine and tangly hair it wasn't enough to keep my hair in good condition. The shampoo definitely works and because of that the texture of your hair changes and if you are prone to knots I definitely suggest a good mask or treatment to pair with using this conditioner.

I must admit I'd never really used bodifying or thickening conditioners, even though it's essential to me in a shampoo. I thought that your roots are where you want body & thickness, not your ends right? My hair is thick but fine, tending to get dry at the ends, but this gave it just enough moisture while making it light & bouncy in a way that I wasn't used to, but loved! I used it with the shampoo, followed by a good blow-dry, & had great looking hair & consistent results from the next few washes. I will definitely buy this shampoo & conditioner combo again.

I haven't noticed that my hair is any thicker... still fine and plentiful! it does smell nice though

The conditioner smells better than the shampoo. The shampoo scent is okay, but doesn’t wow me or smell delicious like some shampoos do. It’s okay though.

I use about a teaspoon and a half of shampoo and conditioner at every wash or thereabouts.

The design of the conditioner bottle is confusing. Because the shampoo bottle and conditioner bottle look similar, I find that when I use the bottles and then try to stand them up, they fall over, because of the convex shape of the conditioner bottle and concave shape of the shampoo bottle. I’d have to say that ‘every’ time I use the conditioner bottle and try to place it on the corner of my bath tub after use, it falls over because it can’t stand up at both ends and I always tend to try to stand it up at the wrong end(That’s a bit of a pain)

I shampoo, condition and blow dry my hair every day. My hair is extremely fine and lacks volume and thickness, so I was very excited to try this product. The first time I used the shampoo and conditioner, I did notice more fullness in my hair and got quite excited about that. I have used the product for a week now and at this stage I have seen slight improvement, but not ‘great’ improvement. I am hoping that the longer I use the product, the fullness and thickness of my hair will improve. I will definitely continue to use the product and will recommend the product to others should my hair continue to thicken up.

As with the shampoo, this conditioner has definitely made my hair look and feel thicker and fuller. I have really fine, flyaway hair and these two products have made a huge difference. I am just wondering what took me so long to start using the right products for my hair type!

I enjoyed trialling this product for Beauty Review. The conditioner after being left in for a few minutes (as recommended) didn't leave my hair shiny or soft. It was easy to comb out afterwards though. When blow drying, I noticed that my hair seemed to almost have the texture of straw which I really wasn't impressed with. It definitely thickened my hair when used with the Fibralogy Shampoo but my hair definitely lacked its normal shine and lustre. The Conditioner didn't have a nice tempting smell to it either so I have to say that it really didn't have much going for it. I personally wouldn't purchase it again.

I really liked this conditioner as it seemed to complement both the shampoo and the hair serum from the same range really well. I didn't use it some days, just the shampoo and the hair serum as I was in a rush, but those days I really noticed the lack of conditioning and regretted not having used the conditioner. It is a lightweight conditioner which I appreciated as my hair is prone to oiliness. I, personally, found the scent a little over-powering and would have preferred a lighter fragrance but other than that, I will definitely be buying this conditioner again (especially as it is such a good price!)
