L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner Review

This conditioner was really great in the fact it seemed to moisturise lightly without weighing the hair down at all. I do think over time I have seen results. If you had overly dry or damaged hair this would not provide enough nourishment for the hair alone though.

I bought this for the first time a few weeks ago and for a supermarket brand its quite good. Not too heavy but still a smooth finish. I have fine hair but a lot of it so I need something that can deal with a huge amount of knots but that wont weigh down my hair. I also have blonde ends so its need to still repair that damage. This did all of that but I did find the smell to be quite overpowering and I could still smell the perfume 3 days later. I prefer things to smell a little more natural but generally as a product I do like it.

Loved the packaging, was easy , sleek and able to stand upside down. I didn't have to use a huge amount (my hair, although very fine is also very long) It untangled my usually knotty hair with ease (years of colouring!) It rinsed out well and smelled DIVINE. I think my overall hair condition has improved with using this conditioner, although my hair doesn't seem thicker, it does have the hydration and shine it craved! I would use this conditioner again, would love it to come in a bigger size as well.

I have very fine coloured hair so I was excited to try this conditioner. I have also used other products in this L'Oreal Paris Elvive range and my regular shampoo and conditioner is the other L'Oreal EXPERTISE range from the supermarket so I was expecting to like this product more than what I did. I loved the packaging, the blue colour really stood out to me and I also found the smell to be nice. I found the matching shampoo to be drying so I used lots of conditioner to try to make my hair silky again so possibly if I used it with a different shampoo I may have not needed as much conditioner but matched with the shampoo I am going through the conditioner about double rate. My hair did feel thicker after use but I would rather it feel smoother.

I used this with the Fibralogy shampoo and was surprised that together, they gave my hair quite a lot more volume but as for thickening, i didn't notice much difference. The formula is really thick so it means that you'd go through double the normal amount of conditioner. Smells amazing and its a convenient sized bottle too!

I am not sure if this has thickened my hair or not. I've used it twice a week for the past month or so and haven't been able to spot any discernible difference in volume or strand thickness. HOWEVER! My hair has improved in quality. It's shinier and smoother and doesn't tangle as easily. That last property I've found to be a side effect of thickened hair from dyeing, so it could be evidence of the product's effectiveness. The conditioner is lovely to use. It spreads a large area quite well so you don't need to use an enormous amount even if you have miles of hair like I do. It smells great, and you get out of the shower with soft, supple feeling hair.

I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner ♥ My first impression was that the packaging was appealing to the eye, colourful and cute. I especially liked how the shampoo and conditioner match! Also, it smells really good - however slightly different to the shampoo which I thought was a little strange! Using the product, I felt as though it made my hair very silky. It felt like it was my hair all the necessities! I did find it rather difficult to completely wash out however. It took a while for it to feel as though all the conditioner had been rinsed out of my hair. Again, similar to the shampoo, this could be due to the thick consistency of the product. Overall, it was nice to use. I feel as though if it weren't for the conditioner, the Fibralogy collection wouldn't produce the "thickening" result it promotes. Definitely loved the overall healthy, shiny and voluminous felling it gave my hair.

I think I preferred the conditioner to the shampoo. It smells lovely, left my hair very soft & smelling great & you only need a small amount. As with my review of the shampoo, I would recommend it to a friend even if I am not raving about it as it is well priced & it did work & others may get an even better result. I let a male friend of mine try it as he has been complaining about his thinning hair & he really liked it. I wouldn't be able to use it without the conditioner as the shampoo did make my hair feel woolly (though thicker) but he used the shampoo alone & with the conditioner & liked it more than me.

Nice attractive turquoise and pink bottle, 250 mills. I love the way both bottle stands on its top, no shaking the bottle to get the product out right down to the last drop. Made in France.

Conditioner is quite thick, a nice cream like colour, lovely mild mint/citrus fragrance, It has filloxane in it this is meant to help thicken hair and strengthen it, not weigh hair down, condition and give your hair more volume it's meant to get into the hair fiber and go solid, giving hair more thickness. I wash my hair every day, so it's had a good trial to see if it keeps my hair conditioned. I've used the matching shampoo.

This conditioner made my hair tangle free didn't weigh it down and did condition it nicely, It doesn't feel slimey as some conditioners can make it feel. It rinses out easily and didn't leave any residue. I do put products on my dry old ends when I dry it, my hair did get stringy without doing this, it left my hair bouncy and light not heavy but slighty fluffy, I did tend to work it into the ends then up towards my scalp, I let it sit on my hair longer just to get the benifit of the conditioner, as my ends are drier, so yes made my hair bouncy and it seams to have more volume, my hair strands don't seam to be any thicker but I'm sure it's feeling stronger less breakage. I also managed to get a comb through it without a war it also helped with the flyaways.

So it gets my tick of approval for fuller bouncy silky hair with a mild fragrance left in it.

I thought that this product had a creamy consistency and was easy to use. It resulted in leaving my hair nice and silky. I thought that the size of the product was great and that it would last a few months. In conclusion it was a well rounded conditioner and smelt amazing.
