A Must Have

I use this every second day, as I colour my hair medium blonde from dark brown and I find that colouring it all the time is making my hair dry, so I use this to repair it, its fantastic, I was my hair in the morning then towel dry it then put the mask in, and put on a cap, heat it up with my hair dyer, leave in for 10 mins, wash out, and yay, hair is nice and soft again love the fragrance and the size of the pot, lasts for ages ,,,

Tips: Highly recommend.. towel dry shampooed hair, put a cap on and heat up with a hair dryer, that way it gives you a more intense condition

L'Oreal Professional Serie Expert Absolut Repair

I was gifted this product with the accompanying shampoo, this thick textured hair repair works wonderfully to repair my hair after a short period of time using it. My hair was silky soft with a nice healthy shine to it and a beautiful scene too. This product is quite expensive as you can only usually ge at a salon but it is well worth the price. Recommend to anyone needed to give little life back to their hair.

This is bleached hair's saviour!

I used to use this religiously back in my platinum blonde days. It saved my hair from breakage and damage, keeping it soft and manageable which is always hard with such bleached hair. I would use this instead of conditioner and for my thick hair I had no problems with it being weighed down, though it could be a bit much for thinner hair. It's worth it's weight in gold for dry, damaged, and processed hair, and the shampoo that goes with it is also really really nice. I cannot recommend this enough!

Tips: Apply at night, bun your hair and sleep with a towel on your pillow for a really deep, intense treatment. Wash it out in the morning and your hair will be completely different to how it was the day before.

Absolut Magic!

Purchased this hair treatment after first colouring my hair blonde on recommendation from my hair dresser and wow! It saved my hair during this time and after trying many different treatments I always come back to this. It is a super thick consistency so I use about 3/4 of a teaspoon as a replacement for conditioner each time I wash my hair. Leaves my hair so silky smooth and easy to manage once dry. Have just finished another pot and will no doubt repurchase in the near future.

good weekly treatment

Absolut repair is a super nourishing repairing mask. You only need a little amount as its quite a thick heavy product, using too much can leave your hair feeling a bit limp. i find my hair feels healthy and shiny after using this mask, and it stays that way until the next wash. Really good for a weekly treatment along with good shampoo and cond

Tips: only use a small amount, heavy product

Rescue

This comes in pale yellow a tub with a screw top lid, the masque is pale yellow and is like whipped butter cream in texture . The fragrance is a subtle floral really quite nice. My hair was pretty stressed after going lighter and lighter was going like sheeps wool when I washed it, just horrid. So I used this masque after every wash so after shampooing ( in the same range) I used a big scoop off this cream I squished it in and through my hair ends to roots, and left it on for up to half an hour, I also did five minute sessions and even used a hot cloth on top of this masque to help it push into my hair strands. I rinsed it out with tepid water and rinsed it really well, it came out easily enough, my reward was hair that wasn’t weighed down was soft and easy to manage. After a couple off weeks using this my hair started to live again life returned to my hair some softness. Less fizziness hair not so dull so super duper conditioner especially for hair that’s been really chemically damaged. Worth the price because it works.

Tips: Use a good size amount amd work through your hair

Silky smooth hair

I love L'oreal products for haircare products and this isn't an exception. I've been using this on and off for so many years after a recommendation from a hairdresser friend.

My hair over the years has been highlighted blonde continuously. I swap and change abit, sometimes platinum blonde, other times light blonde and medium blonde. With highlights however, comes dry and rather weak hair. I remember when I first brought this masque my hair was in desperate need of some moisture and hydration.

First of all, the packaging is stylish with its yellow tub, with silver top. I find most of my Loreal products look high end and look great sitting in my bathroom.

The fragrance is lovely and not overpowering, being slightly citrusy. It just smells yummy whilst on your hair.

The masque consistency is thick and its easy to scoop out of the tub to put on your hair after shampooing and conditioning. While waiting for the masque to do its magic I exfoliate all over my body and shave my legs. After 5 minutes I wash out the masque.

I really do notice a difference in my hair after using this masque. It really works to lock in moisture and hydrate my hair. Instead of dry, wiry hair my hair feels silky smooth. It's such a fantastic masque for dry hair and I feel it really does repair, like it says it does.

I tend to be abit of a haircare snob, buying salon products (kerastase, loreal and aveda) as with shampoos, conditioners and masques I really seem to notice a difference with the texture and condition of my hair. It's such a high quality product, that even after years of using it I'm still impressed.

I think this masque although a lot cheaper than Kerastase is just as good. Will continue to repurchase forever!

I would recommend this to anyone with coloured hair needing some tlc.

Good for damaged hair

I have used L'Oreal hair care products for most of my adult life as I find them to be very good. I have a fairly sensitive scalp and find this doesn't make it worse.

I feel a bit silly really, all the years I've been using this and I didn't realise it was a masque, just thought it was a conditioner. Luckily I like to leave my conditioner in for as long as I can so I have been getting the full benefits of this.

The best thing about this is that it is easy to put in your hair and you feel the benefits immediately. I don't particularly enjoy the smell of it but it's not something that makes you gag so I keep using it.

I straighten my hair a couple of times a week and constantly colour it and find this to help reduce the damage that I inflict on my hair. Not entirely sure I have seen a difference in the shine factor though. My hair definitely feels stronger and healthier after using.

The one downside to this product is that I hate the tub it comes in, I would rather have this in a pump type applicator bottle as I find it quite fiddly to open when you're in the shower.

It's fairly expensive for what it is but until I find a better cheaper option I will keep using it.

Tips: Don't pile it on your hair, a little goes a pretty long way. I've found if I use too much my hair gets weighed down very easily with this product.

So nice but expensive!

This is hands down the best treatment I have ever tried. It made my hair feel so nice and soft and shiny!

I applied this from the mid-lengths down to the ends and it really felt like it repaired my hair.

It has a pleasant smell and a little goes a long way. It has a nice thick consistency.

If only it were a bit cheaper this would be my go to. I use osmo as my go to as it is just so much cheaper and works almost as well as this :)

Favourite Hair Mask

This is my favourite hair mask/treatment and has been for at least 6 months now. I was lucky enough to receive a decent sample size of this product in a GoodieBox and I was in love as soon as I opened it. I quickly purchased a stash of three more full sized masks as it really is that good.

The reason it was love at first site comes down to the consistency of the product. It is thick and creamy, which sets it apart from a lot of other masks and treatments which are runny and have either a shampoo or yoghurt consistency. Because of its thickness it stays on the hair when applied, unlike most other masks which end up down the drain in a matter of seconds. It smells fresh, like citrus and, well, a trip to the hairdresser.

My hair is unnaturally blonde, I blow dry and straighten it almost every day, and needless to say it is pretty dry and damaged. Not only does it leave my hair soft and silky with no residue, but I do feel like it is actually repairing my hair, unlike products such as coconut oil which simply coat the hair. The only downside to this product is that it is in a tub/pottle, which means it is a little more annoying in the shower. However this does mean that I can get every last drop of product out.

I use this mask at least once a week, usually when I am shaving my legs as this gives me a chance to leave it in my hair as long as possible. I wash my hair, get as much moisture out as possible, and then apply the mask beginning about an inch below my roots. My first full sized tub lasted about 4 months of using it once a week, so I do feel that it is value for money. This is a great mask with a great price.

Tips: In a salon supply shop this product was $50, however I purchased 3 from feelunique.com for $60 with free shipping when they had a 3 for 2 deal.

Great review! I've seen this is salons before and been tempted, now I think I better buy it online instead.
