I only managed to use this once in the review period however for the first use I found it to be good, my blonde did appear brighter and hair felt nourished using both the shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo didn't require much product to create a good lather and the Texture of the conditioner was good not too thick and not too runny. The smell was nice and price is very reasonable. Great to be able to purchase easily from the supermarket.

Great and affordable purple shampoo and conditioner for blonde hair. Easy too as they sell it at the supermarket, and purple shampoos are a new thing at the supermarkets. Worked well and I was happy with the result. Toned my hair well! I would buy and use again. Recommended for those who need an affordable toner for their hair

Tips: Apply yo dry hair and work through evenly 15 mins before showering brings the silver back in ur hair
I had seen a review or comment about this , so after looking at my brassy gingery toned hair , I purchased this and I have to say I am very pleased with the results , It works , I now have my around the face highlights back .
Tips: shampoo more often to keep it light . if you have to , put hair in ponytail and wash the fringe over hand basin .
I was pleasantly surprised by both the shampoo and conditioner. Pros -They both smelled great, -cute purple bottle (which would be easy to spot on supermarket shelves) -affordable - hair feels lovely and weightless after the first wash - does what it claims and reduces brassiness
Cons - I tend to only add either a shampoo or conditioner to my hair regime so personally I wouldn’t buy both to add to my routine. I may try the shampoo without the conditioner to see if I can get the same results - not dramatic results in reducing brassiness although I’m comparing it to Kevin Murphy’s range so this is a good affordable alternative - only available at New World and Chemist Warehouse, I shop at Countdown so hopefully they expand where it will be available
Tips: Wash your hair at the beginning of your shower as the conditioner needs to stay on for 5 minutes.
I am a natural redhead with blonde highlights so getting rid of the brassiness is paramount for me. The shampoo is a good colour and consistency and you can get a good lather. I think the bottles are not a very good shape and could tip over easily. The shampoo smelt a bit unpleasant of chemicals but washed off easily. The conditioner is a good consistency and I was pleased that is was “greasy” enough to help detangle my hair. Other brands I have used have not helped. Conditioner washed off well. Overall the regime was effective and I noticed the difference in my hair and was pleased with the results. However I didn’t like the chemical smell which would put me personally off using the regime.
I've used this a couple of times on my curly hair and it hasn't made it feel that great. It does work fairly well to tone my highlights but it's not that strong.
I bought this once as it was the only purple shampoo and conditioner on the shelf at the time and I didn’t like it. I used it thinking it would be good for my hair but it really wasn’t. It made my hair really knotty as I like to comb my hair while in the shower with a shower comb. It was really hard to comb even when my hair was dry. When washing my hair I could feel it was making my hair feel yuck so I stopped using it. It wasn’t good for my hair type.
I was excited to trial these products on my long, thick, blonde hair.
Neither of them have much of a smell at the time but afterwards to leave that 'I just left the hairdresser' scent which is always a win.
The shampoo is quite a runny consistency and a deep purple as opposed to the conditioner which is quite thick and more of a light lilac. Both lather up nicely and spread well throughout the hair without using too much (usually I need a good handful of conditioner for my maine but this wasn't the case here).
I can't say I noticed a difference in colour like it says it will after one use however maybe over time this would change.
The duo is ok, nothing exceptional but not bad so could be a good cheap alternative over some of the more expensive purple shampoos out there!
Having always purchased salon shampoo for blonde hair I was a little dubious about using a supermarket variant. I was surprised!! Its a lovely light formula which gives a great lather and didnt make me look like I had a purple rinse.
