L'Oréal Paris® Botanicals Lavender Soothing Therapy Shampoo Review

As I mentioned in the review for the Duo of the Shampoo and the Conditioner, this shampoo ROCK's big time. 6mths of trying new shampoo's and this arrives and blows me away. My scalp is calm and my hair is so shiny! If you are struggling to find a shampoo that not only agrees 's with your hair but relaxes you at the same time, this is it! I can't wait to buy this in the future, it's definitely worth its price and I highly recommend it!

I have really fine and extreamly curly hair. So finding shampoo thats going to cleanse is properly without totally stripping my scalp is always a mission.

I love the fact the shampoo comes with a pump. There is nothing more annoying than having to reach over and deal with a cap when you're trying to get 'poo into your hands (that said the conditioner comes in a tube..ugh).

It didn't lather too much which I expected but it did a good job of cleaning my hair and prepping it for the conditioning balm.

A very subtle lavander scent which I liked - i've learnt that fragrances are not my friend on my scalp sadly.

All in all a nice shampoo and one that i'll likely keep using until its gone.

Bonus: My hair had a lot of volume after this which I did enjoy!

I liked this shampoo. First of all I was really excited that it is natural and is paraben, silicone and colourant free and eco friendly. It is infused with lavender essential oil, soya and coconut oils and is meant to be used for fragile hair and sensitive scalp. I used it several times and I can definitely say that it has made a lot of difference to my hair. My hair is much more soft now and not so frizzy as before. It added a bit of shine too and my hair feels hydrated. It has nice and gentle smell which lasts at least for a day. Lavender also has soothing ability so it helps me to relax while having a shower. The shampoo cleans hair well and you don't need to use much for good result. For me one pump was enough so it means it'll last longer. It wasn't irritating neither during wash nor after. Has nice creamy texture. My husband has problematic skin so I thought he would benefit from it too. He liked it too and said it was gentle on his scalp and his hair felt soft afterwards. He also liked that scent is not too much so he didn't feel girlish after using it. So it is great to buy for whole family if you want to have nourished and healthy hair without putting toxins in your body. Highly recommend to everyone.

I absolutely love this shampoo. When I use it I feel so relaxed and it makes me enjoy washing my hair after a long day of mum life. I can relax and do something nice for myself.

Firstly, I love the packaging! I love how this shampoo has a pump. It makes it a lot easier to get out.

I have thick curly hair and this works fine for me. It reduces the frizz too which is awesome. My hair is left soft and hydrated and really shiny too.

I love the scent. At first I was worried that it may be a bit overpowering but I was wrong. Its lovely and long lasting too. As for the formula - A little goes a long way so it should last a decent amount of time and it lathers up so well.

I really love how this shampoo contains no sulfates, parabens , silicone's or colorants. Its also Vegan. This is a major selling point for me.

Overall I am very impressed with this product and I think I will be repurchasing. I highly recommend giving this a go.

The first thing you notice about this product is the gorgeous lavender smell. It was a really pleasant surprise and makes your simple shower a luxurious one.

I have been struggling with dull, dry fragile hair this cold winter. Since the first wash - using this Lavender Soothing Therapy Shampoo and Conditioner combo - I saw a major improvement in my hair and it keeps getting better. My hair is soft, feels moisturised and looks healthy. My curls are starting to bounce back too, which I am very happy about.

In terms of consistency, the shampoo is quite light, easy to work through the hair, and lathers nicely. The conditioner is creamy and smoothing, and I find it softens and detangles my curls well. I use a comb after shower, and have noticed an improvement in tangles and knots (which frequented my dry hair!). The conditioner is so soft, it feels like a hair mask. I usually leave this in for a few minutes before rinsing out.

Packaging wise, the shampoo is in a nice pump bottle and the conditioner in a squeeze tube. It's easy to control how much you want to use from these dispensers and I think they've done a good job with the overall packing look.

Overall, I am very pleased with this product. I am keen to try the other scents just because I am so impressed with the way this one smells and feels in my hair.

I have sensitive skin and fine hair, so I was very keen to trial this shampoo. I am thrilled with it. The blurb on the bottle says it is for sensitive scalps. My scalp is not sensitive, but I have dermatitis on my hands and need to be really careful abou the products I use. This shampoo is so gentle on my skin I have actaully seen an improvement since using it. My hair feels very clean after shampooing and it also appears to have some added volume. Overall I am really impressed.

I have been loving this shampoo! My hair feels very well cleansed after using it, getting rid of any build from the days. It lathers up nicely in the shower as well. I have normal to oily hair and I found this shampoo did not make my hair any more or less oily. My scalp can also be quite sensitive, but I didn't experience any problems using this product. Further, I am always drawn to shampoos that have a pump bottle because they are so convenient, this was a big positive for me! I am also a big fan of the natural ingredients. Very impressed with this product, it has not disappointed!!

L'Oréal Paris Botanicals Lavender Soothing Therapy Shampoo smells unmistakably of Lavender and it's divine! The shampoo did not lather as much as most other shampoos do which kind of made it feel like I was giving my hair a nice treatment not a clean. I like the size of the bottle however, I am not keen on pump top. I have quite long hair so I need more than one pump. This was tricky enough being in the shower with wet hands but it was made more difficult by the fact you need to push down quite hard to get it to work. My hair is softer, less frizzy and smells divine. I would love to say I will continue buying this product but at $17.99rrp, I'm afraid it is just too expensive for me.

Lavender is nothing new. And at just the mere mention of it, it sends me off on a cloud of relaxation. I don't usually like floral fragrances but Lavender is my exception. I don't have a super sensitive scalp, it does occasionally gets itchy or aggravated from OD-ing on dry shampoo. I have very coarse dry hair and use dry shampoo inbetween washes. I wash my hair 1-2 times a week. Because I use alot of product on my hair, I need a shampoo that is deep cleansing but nourishing at the sametime. I found this shampoo did just that. After shampooing my hair it felt fresh, clean and healthy. The lavender fragrance is quite medicinal smelling. It is not your typical floral lavender fragrance. All in all its a great shampoo that feels great to be used and the results are shiny, clean fresh hair.

I didn't think it was possible to fall in love with shampoo and conditioner. I thought you could like one. Prefer one. But love one? Turns out you can.

My scalp is prone to itching. If I don't wash my hair every day by the second day I'm an itchy scratchy mess. I also get very oily, very quickly. Since using this shampoo that has not been a problem. It's magic. My scalp is no longer itchy, the oil seems to be much less, AND I've also not had the usual amount of pimples pop up on my scalp. It also doesn't leave my hair feeling stripped or dry.

The scent is YUM. I love lavender, and this did not disappoint. It turned my shower into a spa.

Would I buy again? Heck yes. I only need a little shampoo and this bottle will last a long time, so it feels like good value for money.
