I recently picked up this duo along with the shampoo . I like to use hair products together as a team to see if they work well . At the time I got this at a bargain price. I couldn’t wait to try it out .
Packaging comes in a bright red container has bright labelling on the bottle . The consistency of this is soft creamy white in colour. Has a strong sweet floral scent .
Application is easy to apply to my hair . Works well as a duo combination with the shampoo . As a hair cleaner it’s good . But I didn’t notice any change as a repair for my damaged hair .
Overall I can’t see myself repurchasing this product again . Alright if you want a quick clean on a budget. Still looking for a product that will repair damage .
I was stoked to get the Shampoo and conditioner for $3.50 each, with all the reviews I had read, I was certain these would be a good choice.
After shampooing my hair I squeeze as much water as I can from my hair before squeezing about a tablespoon of conditioner onto my hand. The conditioner is very thick and looks like boysenberry yogurt but it smells just like pomegranate. I love the smell of this range. I notice that I use twice as much conditioner as I do shampoo, the shampoo I only need a small amount, as for the conditioner I need a lot more. Once I've applied this to my ends and mid length I leave it for 2 minutes before rinsing out. Even after my hair has been washed and dried I can still smell the fruity delicious smell of pomegranates. When my hair is dry it is smoother and easier to manage but I dont see a significant change to my hair.
Overall I will repurchase because it is cheap, and it smells nice. A little disappointed that it didnt help strengthen my hair but for the price I cant complain.
This smells like juice very nice and girly and the colour when it comes out of the bottle is even pink the bottle has grip on the sides as far as fixing split ends I do not know but it is certainly different and I am sure popular. My little sister enjoys using it too. This brand usually has nice rich conditioners and a little seems to go a long way but it is still tempting to be heavy handed the formula is reasonably thick the hair does feel soft and silky afterwards and you want to keep smelling your hair does it stop breakage? I don't know. I would use again on special I do like the smell but I feel I would be more inclined to go for something that smells a little more grown up this sort of reminds me of a young girls favourite. Still great though
This conditioner used to be an absolute favourite of mine and then we all know how it goes... New products come to the market, different colours need different care so I kind of forgot about it, until I asked the man to get some conditioner at the supermarket and told him to just grab anything.. Well I thought he did pretty darn well. I can't help but thinking it could have had something to do with "long term relationship" written on the bottle though hehe.
The tall, thin bottle is a beautiful deep red colour. It's sits on its green lid that you press down to open. I love on the back of these bottles there is a bit of a story behind the fruit or ingredients used in the bottle.
This pink coloured conditioner is very thick and does require a fair amount of shaking and squeezing to get enough out. I find I need around 3 tablespoons of this for my long hair, which is pretty good considering most supermarket conditioners I use (a 250ml bottle lasts me 3-4 washes.)
It soaks in nicely and I like to leave it sit for a couple of minutes before proceeding to rinse it out. It is rather mildly raspberry scented and by the time I dry my hair there isn't much of the scent left. It does leave my hair feeling so soft and silky. As for the breakage I haven't really noticed a difference but I don't really suffer from breakage. This is an awesome super cheap conditioner that I will keep going back to (after I've tried the newest to the market)
I bought this to use with the matching shampoo. I like the red, vibrant packaging and the lid makes it easy for all the product to come out.
It is pink, smells delicious and comes out quite clumpy but I find that it does apply evenly to the hair. After massaging it in and letting it soak for a couple of minutes, I'll wash it off and find that my hair is silky soft and smooth. The scent also lasts for a good couple of days and I have gotten compliments about how great my hair smells after using this.
I do find that this conditioner can be a tad heavy and can weigh down my hair, but it's not too big a deal for me because I wash my hair every 2 days anyway. The bottle lasts for a very long time as you don't need much for all your hair so it's very economical and works well as an everyday conditioner.
I like it and would repurchase!
Tips: I run it through the middle to the ends first and then any remaining through the roots. Applying too much onto the roots can leave the hair greasy and heavy
I bought this to use along with the shampoo. I really love the way it smells. It leaves my hair really soft and light and smelling great. However it hasn't reduced or prevented any more splits in my hair which is a huge disappointment. But then I have been told that some people can't grow their hair past a certain point and I might be at that point so possibly not the conditioners fault. Either way it hasn't helped any. It's a nice enough shampoo but if you only bought it to strengthen hair and reduce splits then you will probably be disappointed. I also found I went through the bottle really fast, I have a lot of hair but even using sparingly it just disappeared so quickly.
Nice smelling conditioner which leaves my hair feeling soft and smelling good however haven't noticed any difference in terms of it's claims about strengthening against split ends meaning their claims are false. The packaging is useful and attractive. Due to the bright red it is also easy to locate on large supermarket shelves. Very easily available at most supermarkets and some salons/pharmacies. I have long hair so only use this on the ends of my hair however the bottle still seems to run out quite quickly. Would be useful to have a bulk option available however it is still cheap for the quality it is.
I purchased this from countdown for around $4 per bottle when it was on special and the smell of it was what drew me in, it smelt delicious, I tried the product and thought it was pretty good in my hair but due to the length and thickness of my hair the bottle didn't really last long, but it left my hair smelling amazing, feeling great.
The new packaging that Herbal Essence have I think is beautiful and very modern, it works well with the packing and makes it easier to find the desired treatment by having good labels and details on the packaging.
Cost wise I think the price is reasonable but for me using this condition is not a "always" thing, more of a treat due to the amount of hair I have it doesn't last very long compared to other products that come in bigger bottles.
I can’t really speak for the damage repair aspect of this product, but it leaves my feeling soft & shiny and clean, I didn’t get any build-up on my scalp from using the duo (the matching shampoo is great too) most of all I love love love the pomegranate scent. It’s also really affordable (about $3 at PakNSave on special when I purchased) I’d definitely recommend!
