GHD V Gold Classic Styler Review

I have just received these for Christmas. Took a wee bit to get use too after using my old straightener for years, but finally love them. They leave your hair feeling healthy and straight for a couple of days.

I use my GHD's just about every day. First got some when I was about 16 and have the exact same pair still going strong! Easy to use and makes quick work of straightening even long hair!

I have bought so many styling tools over the hears - wet to straightners (awful!), curling tongs, wave creaters ive been sucked in by lots of things...but i have had GHD's for 10 years now and i cant remember how i survived wtihout them ! i am onto my second pair but i use them almost daily so they dont owe me any favours...absolutely love them, wouldnt bother using any other straightner i have really fine flyaway hair so it keeps it nicely sealed and shiny. love !!

I love my GHDs because they are so reliable. Keep to a great temperature for styling and good for short or long hair.

I had to replace my old GHD's - they had finally stopped working after THIRTEEN YEARS!!! Of course I was going to stick with GHD - although at the time they were the most expensive hair product I'd ever bought, they delivered more than enough value for money! I actually wanted the same pair, but I ended up buying the GHD Earth Gold limited edition, which I gather is the same product as shown above, but in a rose-gold colour (ohhh, so pretty). I immediately appreciated how easy my hair slid through the straighteners, no stickiness or having to jerk and pull. My hair glided through really easily, and because of that, I had to force myself to use them slowly, to get enough time for them to work! I like how it beeps when it's hot enough, and it has a shut off time if it hasn't been used) although to be honest, I think half an hour is enough time to burn the house down with them. And I like that the rounded barrel means that curls are easier to achieve. Another great reliable product from GHD.

I've had GHD's for numerous years now and absolutely love them. I think the only thing I regret is not getting the big paddle type one as I have very long and very thick hair, so using the smaller ones takes a very very long time! I can never get it looking as good as the hairdressers either for some reason? I like the fact you can use them for other things than straightening, such as curling, or as I use them, for creating volume at your roots. They are expensive, however I'm onto my second pair in 8 years, and have had no problems with them so they last very well.

i have used these straightners for 7 years and im on the same pair, they are fantastic for curling, obviously straightening, waves, fringes, i wouldn't use anything else, the irons are excellent quality, heat extremely fast and bleep like crazy if you accidentally leave them switched on

I have had the original GHD styler for about 2 years now. I have had no problems with it and I love all the features about it. One morning while I was getting ready I left my straightner on and the technical feature kicked in and the straightner turned the elements off as the security feature. I love this as I have had old straightners in the past where I have accidentally left it on and it has burnt my blanket or burnt the plastic surrounding the elements. I also love the silky finish it gives on my hair it definitely does give me a Good Hair Day which I love. I couldn't never live without my straightner. Also I love the feature where the elements won't turn on unless you wipe down the elements especially in damp or cold mornings. This protects the circut wiring and prevent short circuits which love. I have to say with all the added features and the silky smooth finish it gives to my hair. This straightner is the BEST!!
