Versace Bright Crystal

I love this fragrance, it's bold enough to be worn for special occasions, yet light enough to be worn to work. It's quite floral, but the base notes of musk and Amber make it a lovely warm fragrance. If you like Tocade, Eden, Coco (Chanel), you'll love this one.

I remember about 6 or so years ago my sister got this perfume. I used to sneak into her room and use some before i went out. I find it smells very rich, and expensive. The scent lasts all day, so you don't end up spraying more, and wasting more. I find that one or two sprays does the trick!! I find it hard trying to justify spending so much on this perfume, because it is very expensive. I think that could be the main reason why i haven't purchased any for myself since. It doesn't stop me from going into farmers and using a bit when i am out shopping though!!

Bought is perfume just a couple days ago as I smelt my friends one and I fell in love ! Every single day I have worn it since I get a complement on how it smells and even at the end of the day and I hadnt re applied. This product is my all time favourite, it lasts all day and makes you smell like a super model !

I really like this perfume ON OTHER PEOPLE but unfortunately I don't have the right chemistry to make it work for me. This is a signature perfume for one of my bestfriends and it smells like clean florals mixed with a dose of warm musk. On me it smells like a rude dose of alcohol which dries down to notes similar to Gucci Envy Me (which I hate - really hate).

I was never a fan of the packaging, a square glass bottle with pink liquid coming through and a very bulky clear plastic lid which is suppose to imitate a crystal perched on top. It wasn't until I smelled the fragrance on others that my view of the packaging changed, it no longer makes me walk past without a second thought.

I didn't think too much about spritzing it on me because it smelled so divine on others how could it be any different? WRONG. SO WRONG. It smells fantastic on a card which was all I did to ensure it still smelled like how I remember it on my bestfriend. However I highly recommend that you try it on the skin too.

Despite hating the scent on me which smells like a bitter soapy conconction of sweet roses, the lasting power of the fragrance will see you through to the end of the day. I will never repurchase this but I do feel that it smells amazing on with the right chemistsry. I can't recall the price for the 30ml I bought but it was from Farmers. Needless to say my bestfriend scored herself another extra bottle.

Versace's Bright Crystal is the first perfume people think of for me with a name like mine. Like the name suggests, this bottle is very crystal inspired as is the rest of the range with a large plastic 'crystal' as the top of the perfume bottle, then this one has a square pink body. Out of the range the clear and pink colour combination is my favourite.

The perfume itself is a fruity/floral with notes of yuzu, pomegranate grains, lotus, peony and mangolia. For me, only the fruity really came through, I could mostly just smell the yuzu, which is a Japanese citrus fruit and I felt it was a little bit of a synthetic citrus scent.

The perfume does however smell pleasant, but it doesn't have quite the range in scent I expected, what is there is however very robust.

In terms of longevity, I would say it lasts the standard time expected of a designer perfume.

Would I buy it for myself. no. But I would be delighted with it as a gift.

I have tried so many fragrances over the years and this has to be one of my favourites. This scent is not overpowering but is subtle and lasts the day.

I received this as a gift, a very special gift. I fell in love at first sight. The bottle is clear glass which you can see the pretty pink fragrance through it.

The fragrance has floral tones to it which I find very alluring. It feel sophisticated when wearing this, very classy.

I applied this scent in the morning and re applied at lunchtime. This is usual for me and I am very happy with the wear of it.

I love the design of this bottle with the large clear crystal lid on a square bottle with the pink perfume adding a feminine touch to the overall design. The perfume sprays on light and but unfortunately the first smell I get are the aldehydes but then the perfume transforms into a beautiful garden of peonies which saves it from being yuk. I also smell a hind of fruitiness as well although I can't quite pick up what the fruit is. This is a gorgeous fragrance that I had previously ignored in my stash until now and with the weather warming up I can see that this is definitely one that I'm going to be wearing more often. No too powerful and yet still has enough body to be noticeable.

One of my favourite fragrances, it never fails to get compliments when I am wearing it. I love how subtle it is, never overpowering, with a sweet, clear scent that sticks around most of the day; I am not a fan of musky scents so this is a winner. I usually don't need to reapply it which is a testament to its longevity. I love this perfume so much I've bought it twice more and it is one of my regulars. Plus how gorgeous is this bottle! If you like a sweet, clean, subtle and sophisticated perfume, this might be a winner.
