This is my all time favourite foundation. I use this on a day to day basis, the only days I don't use this foundation is when i'm not wearing make up! I love this foundation because it is super light weight - light than some of my BB creams! I love it because despite being light weight it has amazing coverage and is super build-able for whether you want a light coverage or full coverage! It is easily applied with a damp sponge or brush - I use both! I would 10/10 recommend this product!

I purchased this in the shade ivory, it matches quite well but I might try the shade porcelain next time. It is a great price, $15 on sale at The Warehouse, very lightweight and blends well, a little bit definately goes a long way, it is quite runny but I quite like that as it feels like a moisturiser. The only thing that annoys me is it feels a tad tacky but I guess that could be fixed by popping some powder on top. Will be great for winter time as this is when my skin is the most dry.
This is my everyday foundation. It has great coverage for redness and doesn't go shiny over the day.
Tips: Make sure you set it with a matte powder for extra long lasting.
I grew up using Rimmel products, 9 times out of 10 they are worth the buy. This foundation gives perfect coverage, and isn't at all cakey. If you moisturise and wait 10 minutes, then use a damp beauty blender it makes your skin look even and masks most blemishes well.
I didnt buy quite the right shade for me, but i will use it up anyway. It goes on very easily with a brush or a beauty blender or just your fingers, which ever you prefer. It is buildable, so two coats for a more glam look or night time, and i put on one coat if i am just going out the door to work.
I only just recently got this product and I was extremely impressed! It covers 90% of my redness, pores and blemishes. Has an amazing lightweight feel and doesn't give off a cakey look. The only downside I had was hoping for just a little more coverage as some of my pimple scars came through (I have fairly bad skin), other than that I would recommended for sure!
Tips: Use a mineral primer to give yourself a flawless finish! Also adds to the staying power for the days when you are on the go (:
A gorgeous everyday foundation that definitely lives up to its ‘radiance’ claims. I own this product in Light Porcelain, and it is very, very fair- perfect for my even-lighter-than-NW10 skin. It has a good balance of pink and yellow tones and gives a very smooth, porcelain-like finish to the skin. The finish is natural to dewy, so some days I find myself needing powder touchups. If you have oily skin this may not be a the best option for you as it is very moisturizing, but it could be too rich for certain skin types.
Coverage is light to medium- it evens out the skin tone beautifully but wont cover extreme freckles or breakouts. The texture is quite slippery- I use my fingers to apply because I lose less product and have more control. I really like the texture, but one drawback is that it makes it a bit more difficult to do layers of the foundation to build up coverage. I love how it seems to melt into the skin though…
It claims to be a ‘skin-tone matching product.’ I personally am always wary of this sort of marketing- I do not believe that foundation is ‘intelligent’ enough to understand what tone your skin is, and so getting the right undertone of foundation is purely coincidental- ‘matching’ technology offers more of a placebo effect.
On the back it claims to ‘last all day.’ Due to its lightweight and blendable texture I do think that it tends to move around a little throughout the day, so make sure to use a good primer and have powder on hand. Overall though, I’m satisfied with the wear time, it doesn’t oxidise to weird colours and it even survived my 60min cardio class at the gym yesterday evening- success.
You get 30ml of product, and it comes in an elegant glass bottle with a blue lid and a pump that allows you to control product dispensing well- is anyone else sick of packaging that gives you 3x more than you need? Top marks for the dispenser on this one. It also smells very nice- a fresh floral scent that isn’t too in your face (heheh see the pun there?)
Side note: this product is spf 18, but as this is low I’d definitely recommend having an extra layer of sun protection on your face or you may get le sunburn.
Take home message: this is a lovely light to medium coverage foundation that enhances your natural skin. A 'drugstore' gem- I will definitely repurchase.
*Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation gets the -Nina- tick of approval*
Tips: Get it from Farmers (or asos, especially when they have it for $10, if you don’t mind waiting a bit).
Absolutely love this foundation. I have tried many over the years, figuring out what is best for my skin-type and skin-tone. This has been one of my go-to foundations between finding other brands.
It never dried out my skin, it did stay matte, and i protected skin against sun~
It does exactly what it says, but I have found that it can cake up if you use too much.
Tips: Tip to stop caking: moisturize face prior to foundation routine, and when you have finished applying the foundation, use a kabuki brush to buff away any parts that could turn to potential cake-areas!
This foundation is just amazing. The coverage is good yet not cakey or too heavy. It smells really nice too, and will stay on for the whole day. And its great for your wallet. Would be the first foundation I would recommend to a friend.
I picked this up for a ridiculously cheap price at one of the Big bucket deals sales in town. I had previously been trying to find a foundation that met my standards, most of the ones I have tired just didn't work for me. I find it so hard to find a foundation because of the fact that I have large pores, skin issues and a large red birthmark to cover. I always end up back at the Rimmel Stand all the time.
The bottle has a screw on lid so its easy to get the product out. I'm sort of relieved that its screw on because of the numerous times I have had bad luck with foundations and the pump has clogged or been faulty. Looks like we are off to a good start. I like how it is SPF 18. I like having SPF in a foundation, even if it is not much, It still counts! I expected a light to medium coverage for the price I paid. Okay, maybe sort of leaning toward the lighter coverage side. I applied this foundation with my Real Techniques Brush. I was surprised how great it blends. It looks natural and to my surprise, The coverage is medium to full. It covers all my skin concerns and It covers my large red birthmark! I am in love with how amazing the quality of this foundation is. It is a winner for sure. I am always surprised by Rimmel products and i'm such a fan of their products.
I will continue to repurchase this foundation. I am so impressed that I have recommended it to all my friends and family.
