Sephora Collection Fingertip Liner

It's basically like a brush-and-pot eyeliner, but ingeniously, the lid fits onto your finger so it's almost like fingerpainting your eyelid.

I was so intrigued by this, and although it's a bit gimmicky, I was really excited to see if it actually worked. Sephora's own-brand cosmetics have already impressed me, so I hoped this would do the same. I swear by Soap and Glory's Supercat eyeliner, so haven't used a brush-and-pot eyeliner in a long time. I don't like them as a rule, as I find the formula can be a bit too thin and watery. The same is kinda true about the Fingertip eyeliner, but the brush is thin and quite stiff, which makes for good, precise lines. I was a bit sceptical about the brush situation, but it actually fits well on my fingers (they're a bit sausagey, thank god) and it doesn't slip or move. I guess you could also hold it like you would a pen eyeliner, but it might be a bit too thick for some people. It does feel a bit like you're using your finger to paint your eyeliner on, but it's easy to control the brush, and didn't find that I made any mistakes. It does take a bit of time to dry though, and I found I was transferring eyeliner on the top of my eyelid quite a lot. It's really not waterproof, which is good when it comes to removal but not so good in the Great British weather.
