Feels premium without the price tag

This is the first time I've ever used a night cream (typically I'd use a standard moisturiser twice a day).

The ecostore Skin: Replenishing Night Cream feels cooling and glides on and absorbs beautifully. I think one of my (possibly ridiculous) concerns about starting to use a night cream was a perception that they're oily and would result in greasy stained pillowcases. This is not the case.

The product is in a glass pottle which feels premium without the ridiculous price (this product only $19.99!). I love that these products are not tested on animals and kind to the planet.

So far no breakouts and beautiful hydration. I'm all for the promised enhanced skin elasticity but will give it more time to see those results.

Lush Overnight Care

Like the cleanser and moisturiser, I love the look of the packaging. It also had an earthy fragrance witch was unoffensive. The cream wasn't greasy and felt light but with intensive moiturising properties. My skin felt great the next morning. Refreshed and replenished. A great product paired with the daily moisturiser and cleanser.

Tips: Store in the fridge for a nice summer cooling treat.

eco night cream

Ecostore are a brand that I had heard of in relation to eco-conscious household cleaning products, but I was not aware that they made skincare products too.

This night cream comes in a dark green and white cardboard box, with the image of orange sunlight filtered through green water on one side. The cream comes in a 50ml white glass container with a dark green plastic lid.

The cream is labelled as a “replenishing night cream” for “all skin types”. It contains avocado oil, shea butter, seaweed, grapeseed and harakeke extracts. The cream itself is beige, and it has a slightly earthy, but not unpleasant, scent. My skin is dry, and although this cream is not designed specifically for dry skin, it feels rich when I apply it, and my skin feels moisturised. The texture feels a little like clay, so it does have a slightly dry feel to the cream, in the sense that it feels almost like a moisturising clay mask. I think this cream would work especially well for combination and oily skin.

Altogether, I am enjoying this cream and I will continue to use it after the trial.

~~Nice Night Cream for hotter months~~

First thing I noticed was the great pot it comes in, thick glass with screw on lid. I am not sure why but I do feel product stays fresher in glass packaging. Recommended for all skin types. 50ml is not too much or too little and would expect to last well.

Packaging indicates recyclable, product is cruelty friendly and 6 month shelf life after opening = ticks from me on these. The 50ml just right for night cream.

The texture is a nice balance of very thick and light; it has a silky texture to it (which absorbs very easily).

I would recommend this night cream being ideal for the hotter months due to the texture. I don’t use the thick heavy night creams during summer so this one is perfect for this time of the year. As a user of serum this cream fits in nicely to my night time regime.

Grapeseed extract & Harakeke keeps it nicely balanced, not too much. It seems they didn’t try too hard with this product, not including many ingredients in, little can be more they say.

I do have to mention the fragrance & colour. It’s light beige in colour which I find a bit uck and the fragrance is unique, but not over the top so I am ok using it daily (the day cream in this range also has the same fragrance however it seems stronger compared to this night cream).

Really like it’s a NZ brand made in NZ. As a supermarket brand it stands out as a great buy. Great showcase to send overseas but the glass pottle makes it heavy for parcels.

Using for a short time (only a number of weeks) I am happy to report that the texture of my skin when waking is smooth and subtle, I haven’t lost any moisture.

Happy to keep using and would for sure consider repurchasing. A winner & keeping an eye out again for sure.

Tips: Use a spatula seeing its a pottle.

Does all the work while I rest

I have sensitive skin but found this product great. The Replenishing night cream comes in a 5050ml pot. The cream itself is an burnt orange colour and is of thick constancy. The fragrance is similar to that of the Clenser and the Hydrating Moisturiser. I used this at night and applied just before bed so it could work it's magic while I slept. I found the fragrance quite relaxing and not too strong. Upon checking my skin each morning after it felt soft and looked clean and fresh. I will use this again

Ecostore Replenishing Night Cream

Didn't even know Ecostore had a skincare range! Ive purchased their cleaning products & love them, well the same now for the skincare. The night cream is definatley heavier than the day cream but not greasy also. Its nice & refreshing to use after the cleanser at the end of a busy work day. Ive been really happy to review this regimen, ive had not breakouts or reactions, which isnt surprising with ecostore being a brand thats all about natural & no nasties. I looked up on ecostores website to find out more about these products & discovered there are lots more skincare goodness available and all at a great affordability around the $20 mark. Thats $60 for a whole regimen not just 1 product. The packaging is simple but classy & it was great to travel with, lids stayed on no problem. Well done Ecostore, i love your products :)

Tips: Use after cleansing on dry skin, lighty massage in circular motions.

Good Night

This is a good night cream. Not the best I've tried. But it's solid - and it's affordable and natural, which is a bonus.

The clean design of the packaging fits in with the range, and the scent is similar to the cleanser and day moisturiser.

The lotion isn't as thick as other night creams I've used and I had to use more than I normally would. That being said, it did the job of moisturising my skin and my skin looked and felt nice in the morning. No pimples. No oily patches.

The price point is good too - and I think for someone with 'normal' skin would really enjoy this. I liked it but my skin's a little drier and I really like to nourish it at night - to that end I'm planning on buying the SKIN by ecostore oil so that I can continue using this product as I do like it, I just need a little more oomph.

Night Cream

A decent Budget friendly moisturizer with natural ingredients. Thicker than others in their range and is a brownish colour and more moisturizing too. Nice for extra dry skin.

Tips: Slather on before bed.

ecostore Skin: Replenishing Night Cream

Contemporary packaging signalling this is an eco friendly product, with the item easily definable by size and description.

Item comes in a 50ml glass jar and delivered what it said it would but the scent was a little off putting for me.

The Replenishing Night Moisturiser felt rich and yet blended into my skin well. But I feel it does not have the active ingredients or effectiveness for my ageing skin however.

Would recommmend to friends in a younger age bracket, a great product at an affordable price point to nourish younger skin.

Tips: If you are sensitive to scents this may not be the product for you.

Best of the regime

I found this the best out of this, the moisturiser and the cleanser. It was a bit thicker than the day moisturiser which my skin likes. It did have a fragrance which was a bit strong. It was easy to apply and the pottle ensures you get the last drop out.

Tips: If you enjoy a storing fragrance this could be the night cream for you!
