I bought this body wash in my online groceries so could not do the sniff test. Big mistake!
I was quite excited to try it, I love ylang ylang and vanilla so how could it go wrong? To me, this body wash smelt like bandaids and fermenting vegetation. The first sniff I thought I must be imagining it. It was like an assault to my senses.
Yes it worked well as a body wash, I tend to prefer creamy as appose to gel type body washes as this was but its not a deal breaker. The odour however absolutely was.
I suffered through a week of using it hoping I would come round to the pugnant aroma but alas, it was getting to the point I had to hold my breath. A waste of 1ltr of body wash but I could not go on I'm afraid. Definitely do the sniff test on this product before purchasing, it's not for everyone. This is a completely personal experience and I understand everyones senses are different.
I wanted vanilla and got over powering ylang yang. Too strong and smelly. Disliked it much. It's a gel which tends to dry my skin out as apposed to cream wash
