I use both the Elf brow kit in Medium (day) and Dark for (Night look) I love how easy it is to use and how amazing this product is considering how inexpensive it is. I find the powder lightens the colour a tad so I tend to just use the wax and a setting gel to finish.

Tips: I find the little brush hard to use. So opting for another angled brush could make application easier.
Love love love this product! So quick and easy to apply (perfect for beginners) I love the fact that it is so affordable as well! The brush that it comes with doesn't do it any justice, easy enough to use one of your own eye brow brushes!!
I brought this with a haul of e.l.f products that I thought I could play around with on friends because they were so cheap - I was extremely surprised and it is now one of my favorite products on my make-up table. Although the little brush it comes with is awful - I use my own small angle brush anyway which fixes that problem. The wax is brilliant and allows for crisp, define lines which makes a beautiful shaped brow! Not so keen on the powder as I feel that it goes on too light in contrast to the wax, so I fill in the rest of my brows with another product but that is just personal preference.
Have just hit pan and will definitely be buying again. But this time, in bulk haha.
Tips: I always start off with less product on the brush and gradually building the lines with small strokes so it looks more natural.
for 3 dollar it great especially if you cant afford high end brow kits. but it sometimes moves around alot if you have oily skin around the brow t-zone area
Tips: angled brush
It's not the best eyebrow kit I have used but for the price it's pretty sweet .deffinatley does the job , was expecting maybe diffrent shades ? I find when I use mine it almost looks like It has a red tone to it ?
Tips: Use a good brush , the one that comes with the kit is quite small.
A lot of people I know rave about this product, so of course I had to try it. At first I didn't really love it, but of course i kept using it! However after a few more uses I decided that I actually really did like it! I naturally have pretty good brows, so only need product to lightly fill them in and this is perfect for that! I'm not sure if it would work for someone who likes to fill theres in a lot
Tips: Give it a chance, and also use the darker shade side
I bought the Elf eyebrow kit in light after BR put up there eyebrow week it got me to thinking about ways to improve my poor eyebrows that were overly plucked in my teenage years and have never totally recovered. I grew them out as much as I could and always plucked out random strays but that was about it until I decided to purchase the Elf eyebrow kit. Comes in a neat little compact package with one side a wax and the side a powder and a little double ended brush one side angled and the other just a bushy brush. The wax is a nice thick (but not too thick) wax with great pigmentation. The powder is a fine powder a bit of a lighter consistency than an eyeshadow. It took me a little while to get the hang of using this the first couple of times I did resemble someone who had drawn there eyebrows on I was perhaps a little heavy handed. The instructions say to use the angled brush to dip into the wax and do your thing with your eyebrows then switch to the bushy side of the brush and dip into the powder to set the wax colour. The first few times I did this using both but I felt it was too dark and heavy for my eyes. The setting powder wasn’t quite right on me. I just use the wax with the angled brush and that seems to be enough for me to fill in the sparse bits and give me a bit of shape and control. This sets fine without the powder and doesn’t smudge off. This lasts me all day maybe needing a touch up going into evening but for the very low price this is more than worth it. The packaging of this product is great and I love the angled brush but I do find the other side of the brush not particularly effective and hard to use but again for such a great price you can’t complain. This has now become part of my beauty routine in the morning – I see it sticking around for some time.
Tips: Practise makes perfect in getting the hang of using this if your a first timer
The Elf eyebrow kit was the very first eye brow product I had ever bought a couple of years ago and for the price you definitely can not go wrong. Its great for people that are starting out in filling their brows as it comes with the wax and the powders so you can fill in your brows and then set them in place. They also come in a few range of colours so there should be a colour to suit most people. I used my Elf eyebrow kit until it hit pan and then started experimenting with other eyebrow products. I think Elf is still one of my top eye brow products though.
I have very light blonde hair, naturally light brown brows and a fringe that partially covers my brows. I purchased the e.l.f brow kit in ash as an easy to use, quick option for filling in my brows. I wish I had purchased this product sooner!
I purchased the brow kit for around $10 via beautybliss.co.nz. This was the first brow product I had used and it is the perfect beginners product, which I am yet to move on from. It is easy to use and virtually foolproof. I simply dip my brush in the product, tap off the excess and apply it over my brows. It leaves them full and defined, without being too harsh or sharp. The colour is very natural, as the hair on my head is obviously not natural. Only a tiny amount of product is used at a time, so I won't be needing to repurchase anytime soon. I use the Real Techniques angle brush to apply, although the teeny e.l.f brush that comes with the product is fine also. The packaging is sleek and compact, and could easily be popped in my handbag. Many brow products have a screw top lid, but the e.l.f brow kit simply clicks open and shut.
The product lasts almost all day on my brows, even with my fringe touching them. I experience no drop down when applying. I personally don't reach for the wax, as I am not drawing on my brows, nor am I taming them, so I can't comment on this side of the product. Overall I am very pleased with this product, and recommend it to any beginner. I will be looking into other brow products in the future, as I would like to experiment and find a slightly lighter shade, however the e.l.f brow kit is perfect for achieving basic brows.
Tips: Swap the small brush for the Real Techniques brow brush.
I have recently purchased this in Ash. I have natural ash blonde hair. My eyebrows are plucked to the shape I want them, so this is used to fill in the gaps and keep them in place.
Ash is the lightest colour (as far as I know, please correct me if I am wrong) but I still find this a tiny bit too dark. I usually just use the wax, because if I use the powder my eyebrows get darker. Considering I am blonde, I don't want dark eyebrows.
It keeps my eyebrows in place all day, and the wax colour doesn't smudge.
I find the small brush applicator that comes with this kit is too short to get a defined brow, so I just use one of my angled brushes.
This does give my brows a defined, natural look but they need to bring one out that is another shade lighter.
