e.l.f Baked Highlighter

I bought this little beauty off iherb a little while ago and I love it! It's one of my favourite highlighters ever! It's super cheap and it has a beautiful finish. The packaging is great too because it's small and compact. I used the colour moonlight pearls. It's a gorgeous white gold champagne colour. It isn't as pigmented as other highlighters I've used but it's still so so worth it!

This is a very nice highlighter for the price,I own this in moonlight pearl. This highlighter looks like it would be super gold and maybe not so flattering on my pale skin tone but once applied I find it really smooths out to a nice light champagne coloured glow. I find this product is quite chalky/powdery so tread carefully and use a fan brush or your fingers and blend well. Classic ELF packaging black base with clear top that snaps down to keep the product secure. There is a lot of product and being that Its a highlighter and you don't use crazy amounts it will last ages. I would still reach for my Mary-Lou over this but for its price its pretty good.

I own all the shades and love them! You can't go wrong at $3USD! I find that it is hard to pick up any of the product on my fan brush, but it works well pressed lightly on your cheek bones with fingers!

Great packaging, nice and compact! Couldn't recommend it enough!

I am currently having a little love affair with all things illuminating !  .

I had seen this and thought for such a great price why not give it a whirl and I choose the shade Pink Diamonds.

This came in a plastic compact with a snap top lid, quite a reasonable sized product to I thought especially for the very low price.

The Elf highlighter has a beautiful velvety silky texture that makes it really easy to swipe your brush along – I applied this using a contour brush and it was fantastic when you swiped over it you didn’t end up with powder flying everywhere .

It is an extremely pigmented formulation so you don’t need to use a lot at all to get a beautiful highlight it applies and blends into the skin really well without appearing chalky or unnatural on your face and leaves a nice sheer pretty highlight without being too shimmery or sparkly.

I think the pink diamonds was perfect for my skin tone and would recommend for other lighter skintones.

This lasted my usual work day without rubbing off or becoming patchy or anything.

I will definitely be trying the other shades in this and that price its hard not to !

I'm really new to the highlighting scene. So far in collection I have one highlighter and now I have two. This is my first powder highlighter. I would like to keep trying different highlighters to find out how they look on my skin. I received this as a gift from a fellow beauty review member. I've heard so much about elf. I notice there is highs and lows within their products.

The name of this baked highlighter that I got is called Moonlight Pearls. The packaging comes in a black plastic casing with a see through window. On the lid of this is the Elf labelling. The texture of this is like a pressed powder. The colour of it is a creamy white with shimmer throughout it. It's not scented at all.

When I apply it , it spreads across my nose , forehead and upper cheek bones well. I have to use it with a light hand as this can look over done with too much product. Overall I find it looks natural on my skin. It can last me about two hours and then I need to apply more product. I definitely would buy this product. I have enjoyed using it too.

When I first picked up this product I was excited to try a highlighter that had a different colour to it compared to my others.

The packaging is basic. Black base with a clear plastic circle lid. It’s not made of the strongest plastic but the lid also never broke.

The highlighter is a very pretty rosé colour which shimmers and is looks incredible when the light hits it.

When I applied this highlighter for the first time, I was highly disappointed. The product was barely noticeable in my skin and the colour wasn’t the rosé I was expecting.

Like many others, I did research online and quickly learnt that you are suppose to remove the top layer of the highlight. What?! It almost seems like a crime to waste a product like that!

After removing the top layer, the highlighter perform a lot better. The highlighter was sheer but the rosé colour looked stunning. The highlighter was sheer and prefer a more intense highlighter moment, so I needed a few applications but it was easily buildable.

I didn’t find that this highlighter lasted all day. If I wanted an all day make up, I would need re apply the highlighter.

this highlighter is so pretty, but not at first.. you need to remove the top layer first and i always like to spritz my brush a bit before use for best results!

I had been searching for a decent low end highlighter for a while and had seen lots of baked ones so thought I would give it a go, as the liquid one I had was a mess. It is the perfect colour and consistency as the one I was using had be chunks of sparkles.

I really didn't have to think about this purchase simply cause it's very straight forward and such a good price.

I only use it for a special occasion,beautiful tone to the highlighter.

The only downside is it's quite hard to get some product on the brush, possibly over baked. I found smashing up the product a bit made it easier or using my finger and going from there.

Very standard e.l.f product

So after I do my normal makeup routine I just put this on a light puffed brush and just light brush over my cheeks and nose. It gives the best glow oh my gosh! I did not even know it had sunflowers in it and it hydrated your skin even better! It lasts all night and you can wear to any occasion coz it just makes your skin glowy and pretty. I just love it 4/5
