The Original Beautyblender

I was pretty sceptical about this product, mainly due to the fact that it is $38 for what is essentially a sponge. After trying out some similar, cheaper products, I gave one of these a go and I have never looked back.

They are so easy to use and ensure that make up goes on smoothly and gives a perfect finish. The sponge is also good quality and doesn't show too much signs of wear after getting quite a bit of use over a couple of months.

Wow! I wish I knew about this when this first came out! Many youtube beauty gurus, and beauty bloggers have been raving about this product for so long. Took the plunge and bought my first one about a year ago, WOW, now I can understand the massive hype about it.

Place under a cold running tap, and squeeze 15 times until it doubles in size, squeeze out excess water and stipple/bounce beauty blender around your face to effortlessly blend your foundation in, so soft on my face, and it gives you perfect flawless coverage.

I want to give this a perfect score, but I just cant, as the price is so scary for product that can only last until it get too unhygienic to use, which is around 3-6 months depending how much you use it/how good you are with deep cleansing it, and making sure you let it dry in the open air rather in a box/draw as it can get mouldy!!

Love the results of this beauty tool, gives you that Kardashian glow, flawless finish!

A+ for results but C- for price as there are other sponges on the market they essentially do the same thing.

This is the perfect applicator for foundation. I can't believe I didn't purchase it sooner. Not only is it absolutely adorable but it is the best way to put on foundation for me. I never found any decent brushes that work for my skin, and sort of always used my hands. Now that I have this my makeup looks flawless. It is a quick way to apply makeup and is my absolute favourite! I totally reccomend for everyone!! Once you try it you'll never want to stop!

This has become my holy grail product! I literally cannot speak more highly of it and how much i love it. I either put my liquid foundation onto my hand or onto the beauty blender itself and dab it onto my face, using bouncing motions to blend the foundation into my skin. I LOVE how it makes my foundation look and feel - it feels so hydrated and leaves my foundation looking flawless and airbrushed. the beauty blender is worth the price and i will continue to repurchase

Loved this product so much that i have repurchased more than twice! I found when i first received the beauty blender i found the application hard to get used to. Even after getting all of the water out i still felt like my face was damp. This ended up being my favourite thing after the third or fourth application. The technology of the damp sponge so easily blended out any one of my foundations and seemed to make those stubborn thicker foundations spread a lot more simply as well. I did get put off that my pretty pink sponge did eventually stain but always made an excuse to get a new one :) I felt this tool made the application process at least half the length of my normal foundation routine and was also really refreshing as it went.

Well, I was truly disappointed in this Beauty Blender that everyone was talking up.... others will think that I am just being negative, but this is what I found...

I was disappointed because, as soon as I tried it... it tore!!!!! :O I thought, oh geez, did I do something wrong, but I was blending it in dabbing and lightly blending outwards near my inner corner of my eyes and it tore!!! I couldn't believe it. i wasn't even doing it hard or anything, so maybe it was a odd one, i don't know, but i know that i was doing what chicks on youtube do.

I also noticed it soaked up ALOT of my BB cream that I used, which I didn't like, as most of you know, you don't want to use up your product too soon.... and when I used my BB cream on it, it got soaked up and also made the Beauty Blender dry. :(

I wouldnt recommend it to friends because I didn't like it and it wasn't "that great" for me.

when I was blending, it didn't entirely blend in as perfect as I thought it would... no matter how much I tried to dab and move gently, I could still feel residue of my bb cream on my skin, even after using the other side of the B.B

Over all, I was really disappointed with it, and I think, for the price, that it is not worth it.

I wouldn't use it again...

I've been ruined for all other products. Ladies ! Throw your brushes and sponges away ! Beauty blender is here. BB is my new holy grail ! I love using it ! I find my foundation is perfectly blended and it doesn't eat up my product like a lot of other tools.

Thought about it a lot before falling into the hype of this sponge which changed my life in foundation application. I personally have very dry skin and with most foundations, it will always caught in dry patches. Using this beauty blender and wetting it allow me to add a bit of moisture while applying my foundation and result is no streaks. I have tried other dupes of their version of the beauty blender, but something about the texture soft but dense, which other sponges doesn't have. The tapered edge is great for applying concealer under the eye and around the nose...

I ummed and ahhed about purchasing a Beauty Blender for ages as I just couldn't justify spending about $40 on a sponge! But then one day after being absolutely sick of using a brush (which I never got the hang of) and my fingers (always led to cake face) I ordered one. First I looked up loads of reviews which did divide me a bit as people either loved the Beauty Blender or completely shot it down as over hyped but as other methods weren't working for me I thought might as well. Well I LOVE it! Incredibly easy to use and I haven't had any issues with foundation lines from shoddy blending since! I've had a massive problem with dry skin lately which has led to problems with my foundation but the Beauty Blender gets rid of that as you soak it before use.

I haven't tried fakes of it as I looked up a lot of reviews and they weren't favourable.

Absolutely love my Beauty Blender and will definitely be purchasing again. It IS worth the hype!

This is regularly my go to foundation applicator, I love it! I was sceptical about how great the result was going to be, given the huge hype online, but wasn't disappointed. In fact I was amazed by the way it transformed my regular foundation, making it more effective and flawless. I don't know about any of the knock off's but you can definitely rely on the quality of this product!
