I have three of these palettes, Oh So Special, Arabian Nights and the beautiful Jessicka gifted me the Garden of Eden :-) there is around 10 more sleek palettes that I will eventually add to my collection.
I have all three open in front of me right now and am sad to say that I've hit pan on a few of the Oh So Special colours :-(
The packaging is simple yet classy being completely black. It clips closed and stays closed. It comes with a double sided eyeshadow sponge applicator but I always use my brushes instead as I personally find my brush applies it more evenly. Inside is a big mirror which is great too. The shades are printed on a plastic sheet which I find annoying!
All three palettes have matte and shimmer colours, im not a huge fan of matte eyeshadow but I quite often apply the matte underneath the shimmer to make my eyes more vibrant.
All three palettes are super pigmentated, glide on really easy and have great staying power, around 4-6 hours for me as I have hooded eyelids. To make my eyeshadow last longer, I'm currently using E.L.F eyelid primer which is amazing and of course I've reviewed it too ;-)
These palettes are fantastic and id highly recommend as there's bound to be a palette to suit every one.
These palettes come in so many shades but I have the neutral one in Au Naturel.
This is an amazing neutral palette and I think that anyone starting out with eyeshadows should definitely purchase this.
The palette has everything a beginner needs, a double ended sponge applicator, neutral shades for everyday and darker shades for a smokey eye and other fun colours for a special occasion as well as a very decent sized mirror. The packaging, as the brand wants it to be, is very sleek and is perfect for travel because it secures nicely so you don’t have to worry about it opening in your luggage. The colours are beautifully pigmented and are smooth and easily blendable.
Nougat is such a great browbone highlight and the black shadow Noir, is the best matte black eyeshadow, it’s very pigmented and buttery yet not at all chalky. Bark is also a great matte neutral brown to use a transition shade for the crease.
Tips: Some of the shimmery shades, particularly Conker and Moss, I feel needed a bit more help when it came to getting the colour pay off I wanted but that was easily fixed with a wet eyeshadow brush.
