The minute I had smoothed a tiny drop of this product over my hand, I was sold. The Lancome La Base primer does an amazing job at smoothing skin in preparation for foundation. After applying this product my skin feels silky smooth and my liquid and mousse foundations glide evenly over my skin. The Lancome La Base primer brightens my skin and holds my make up in place all day.
As much as I love this product, it isn't completely suited to my skin. One of the main features I look for in a primer is how it reduces the appearance of my pores, which are reasonably evident on each side of my nose. The Lancome La Base is an absolute gem for smoothing my skin, but my pores are left untouched. For the perfect base I love the combination of the Lancome La Base primer all over my face, and the Lioele Secret Pore Smoother on either side of my nose. This works for me however it is a little over the top to be using two primers. The Lancome La Base primer would be ideal on it's own for those with dull, dry or normal skin with no visible pores.
The results this product provides combined with the fact that a little goes a long way enables me to justify the price paid for this product.
Omg this primer is amasing!!!! Well and truely worth every bit of the $79 I paid for it.Glides on and covers everything. Major perk for sensitive skin. Also wears fir a good 12 hours without a worry! I cant fault this product at all or praise it any higher. This is a MUST in your make up routine.
