L'Oreal Magic Lumi Light Infusing Primer Review

This is a very glowy primer that is beautiful paired with a more matte foundation for a natural glow, and a dewy foundation for a more intense dewy finish if you have dryer skin. Its very thin, i require 2 pumps to cover my face properly. I don't really find it hydrating much at all. It does leave a tacky finish, which is great for your foundation to stick to over the top, prolonging the wear of your makeup

I have wanted to try this primer for a very longtime and once I got my hands on it, I have not been able to use anything else. I love how it gives your skin a beautiful inner radiance and smooths your skin beautifully which allows your foundation to blend seamlessly. I even find that I use less foundation with this primer and it gives my skin a beautiful dewy finish. I brought it early this year (march) and i still have quarter left, so it has lasted a longtime. I like to wear it as a primer or mixed with foundation and even as a highlighter to give a beautiful subtle glow that is not too intense. It is very hydrating which is ideal for dry skin but I would definitely suggest exfoliating before as it can emphasis dry patches. The only down fall for me is that it doesn't really disguise pores and if anything tends to make me look slightly oily if i'm wearing too much.

This primer comes in a thin white/pearl coloured tube with a pump top. This is not like any primer I have ever used.

A lovely pearly like liquid comes out with a pump and once on your face gives it a gorgeous glow. It smoothes over nicely and helps your skin feel really soft.

I have noticed since using this primer my foundation sits nicely all day and my skin has a wonderful, healthy glow about it.

My skin is finally become normal so I felt it suited my skin well.

I did try it as a bit of a highlighter but it just didnt work for me, but I am more than happy to use it as a primer.

It looks so naturally glowy underneath your foundation! It also does help to smooth out the skin. However it does start to feel greasy when I apply too much. Looks good when mixed in with your foundation also.

This has to be one of my all time favourite glowing primers, it even beats MAC strobe cream in my opinion!! It has quite a runny consistency so itsn't a thick cream and it doesn't feel like it's clogging your pores. A little goes a long way!! It's so beautiful under foundation but I really love it on those no makeup makeup days for a natural lit from within glow. I wouldn't recommend for olive/deep skin tones as it is very fair and could end up pulling more grey then gold on the skin.

I've only used a couple of primers (ELF mineral infusing and Rimmel Fix & Protect, to name them) but this one blows them both out of the water. The light-infusing formula is lightweight and easy to apply (and you don't need much so the bottle will last awhile), I love the pump (have I mentioned it's easy?) and it primes the skin beautifully. I wear it beneath my BB cream and it gives my skin a beautiful glow that, at age 47, I thought I'd lost forever. It doesn't settle into my wrinkles and primes my lips really well for lipstick too. The first day I used it, my teenage daughter commented on how 'glowy' my skin looked - without any prompting from me. Definitely a staple from now on!

I tried this just out of curiosity because L'Oréal always delivers on their great quality products. I wasn't used to using primer at all, at the time, but this did get me hooked on the whole primer idea. The texture is light and non greasy. It's easy to dispense with its little pump bottle. And the smell is pleasantly gentle, so doesn't irritate around my eye area. It's soft and smooth and has a whisper of glow which is perfect to give you a aura of health and wellness, even after foundation application. I love it and would definately use again.

After using this review for the past 4 days, I have come to the conclusion that it definitely does live up to the hype (particularly how much Shaaanxo raves about this). For me, its one of those primers that gets better and better throughout the day. When I put it on in the morning, i'm pretty unconvinced. But OMG, from about midday onwards my skin is looking amazing. It makes my foundation look like gorgeous glowy skin that is natural and radiant. It makes your skin dewy but not to the point where you look greasy and sweaty - I have combo/oily skin and tend to get oily in the T Zone area but this primer seems to mattify and dewify in all the right places (if that even makes sense!) I've also had heaps of compliments about my skin since using this primer which makes me love it even more :)

I purchased this primer recently with high expectations, and this product definitly met thos expectations. I have tried many other primers, and would admit to being a bit of a primer addict, however none have done such a great job of giving my skin such a dewy, highlighted finish. The product definitely keeps your skin hydrated through the day and it is silky and beautiful to apply. Even with just a coat of this primer on my face my skin looks so illuminated and amazing. It also helps my foundation last longer and apply nicer. Overall, this isn't the best primer I've tried in my entire life but it is up there. It does exactly what it says it will, a little goes a long way, the size of the bottle is decent, it has a pump applicator (which I love) and it's cheap! A must have for any collection.

This product is fantastic. It combines both hold and shine to create the perfect primer. When applied it leaves a very dewy, shiny finish to the skin. But when foundation is applied over top, instead of being shiny and greasy looking your skin looks illuminated. Even if you have oily skin, this product does will not let your face get oily throughout the day. It holds your makeup for a reasonable amount of time, but I wouldn't say that it primes for a whole day. But other than that last few hours when you need to touch up your nose, chin and forehead, this primer is honestly so perfect and one of a kind. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!
