This foundation is one in a million for me, I'm on my fourth bottle in the past 4-5 years! I have normal/combination skin but I suffer with with quite bad redness. With most foundations I find that they all look quire cakey on my skin due to my redness but with this one it doesn't. I only need to use a little bit to cover up my redness, it is light weight and goes on the skin smoothly. I use this with the Laura Mercier Radiance Foundation Primer as I like a dewy finish and this works great with it.
This foundation lasts on my skin for up to 5-8 hours without smudging, I used it for both of my school balls and it worked amazing!! I would recommend this foundation for anyone who wants a light-medium coverage and a natural look. Although this foundation is quite buildable.
I have Indian skin and my skin is the fairer side of tan. I used this product in shade Barcelona for one entire year, leaving my Mac Studio Sculpt NC40 aside to try something new. (My assumption was that its more expensive so should be better right?)
This is a pricey product, but definitely a good quality foundation. However, after using it for a year I decided to switch back to MAC.
This was because of the ashy color my skin seemed to look in all my photos during my time using that foundation. In person, it looked natural (only slightly ashy). The thing I have found with the nars range is that it is not as bright as the shades you can find from mac or fenty beauty. If I were to consider all my friends which have used the same shade I would say that this product oxidizes over the day to a grey on most Indian skin types. This is because brown/tan skin (even when you are on the fairer side of the spectrum) tends to need a more yellow/bright base.
Overall my thoughts on the sheer glow is that is would be great, but seems to look ashy on Indian skin tones in comparison to the colours that can be found at MAC.
Tips: This product is typically not a stand-alone product (due to the limited color range). It is important to color correct and give your skin a bright base to stop it from looking too dull in images.
