Maybelline Fit Me Shine-Free Stick Foundation Review

I have oily/combination skin and I got the shade 235, which Is a complete perfect match for my skin, I did a swatch on my hand and It fit's that well I couldn't see where the make up was! So I was rapped with that as I've never found a foundation that has matched my skin tone 100%.

Application of the fit me foundation stick was very quick and simple, just simply swipe over your face and blend In. now I used my blender sponge yesterday and that worked well, but today I used my finger's and I found that worked best for me. I found It to be very easy to blend Into my skin, great for those morning's where I've got little time!.

The texture of this was a lovely,silky smooth feeling, as well as so light on my skin which I fell In love with as most foundation's you can feel quite heavy on your skin.

For me I needed to do two application's as the coverage Isn't heavy, but quite light.

I didn't get any shiny bit's all day wearing this, and I was out and about In the warm (ish) winter's sunshine today. My skin felt smooth and silky all day long.

I also liked the size of this product, fit In any size handbag with ease. The price for this product Is worth It In my opinion and I will be purchasing this In the future.

I would also recommend It to my family and friend's who like a light coverage make up that's quick and easy to apply.

I use this foundation all summer. It has the perfect shades and it's healthy for skin. I noticed my skin was glowing within the first week of use. It's also great for the beach because it stays on and doubles up as a sunscreen, love it!

I love this product! It's the perfect tool for contouring. I got this in shade 235 which I thought I would use for contouring. While it is 2 shades darker than my fit me powder which matches almost perfectly, this wasn't as dark as it needed to be for a dramatic contour which is what I usually go for. However, it does give a nice, natural contour on days when I want to go for a no-makeup makeup style.

I love that it's a little tube that you can use like a pen to draw on the areas that need contouring. It saves me having to make sure I get my foundation in the right areas and saves a lot of time.

It's incredibly easy to apply, and goes on so smooth. It's very creamy and I do love that it is shine free. Perfect for my oily skin!

It's also incredibly easy to blend out, and blends out perfectly with a couple strokes of my contour brush, which makes it even greater if I were to use it for an all over foundation. It leaves such a flawless look! But keep in mind, that the brush took off a bit of the product.

You should note that it's not full coverage and if you have a lot of areas that you want to hide, you will need concealer.

Bottom line is that I am in love! I will definitely be buying this in a darker colour for contour, and one in my correct shade to use as a foundation.

As you can see from the picture, this product is a two toned stick foundation. A lighter tone in the core and a darker tone on the outside. I used this to my advantage when applying under my eyes - a problem area for most woman. In one quick swipe, I had instant coverage - and the correct amount at that. I had natural beige and it matched my skin tone to a t - I couldn't have been happier. I applied this using moistened fingertips and the finish was exactly what Maybelline said it would be - flawless and shine free. The great thing about this product is you're in complete control when it comes to coverage application. You control whether the desired amount. For the cost of this product, you can't go wrong. You're getting your value for money here and more.

I love this foundation. The colour suits me perfectly but most importantly is it does what it said it would do. It went on nicely and I found I could use my fingers to smooth it over and it went all powdery and soft but the best consistency as it took away the oily look my face constantly has. I didn't need a sponge which was great - kind of reminded me of BB Cream in a way but it definitely has better coverage.

I'm a morning gym person and am usually rushed after my workout session to get ready and go to work presentable. This product is perfect because it's quick, easy and mess free. My findings are as follows:

Coverage: medium to full. I find this foundation leaves a beautiful medium coverage, and if it blot it on a few more times, it can get fuller.

Shade: I got the 220 natural beige and the colour blended perfectly with my skin. I thought the range was pretty good overall for a cheaper foundation.

Application: I used this with just fingers and also a brush, and the finish was nice with both, easy to blend in.

Mattifying power: I was very curious about this, due to the name of course, and because I have very oily skin. When you first put it on it is 100% matte, it even feels quite dry to the touch , although not in the sense that it makes my skin flaky. The shine free part lasts for about 4 hours, maybe a bit longer when I've actually set it with powder. By lunch time I found my forehead and nose being quite oily. But nothing horrifying, and a quick touch up with powder would have fixed it.

Lasting power: This looked pretty good on my skin throughout the work day, apart from what I mentioned above with shine coming through after about 4hrs, but the coverage was still nice.

Packaging: I love it, so tiny and convenient. Considering that its only $23 retail, the amount of product you get is not too bad. This will probably last me around 6-8weeks with every day use.

Well this is my daily go to product. I use it for a range of things. Firstly I use as a foundation. I find it has fantastic coverage. Secondly I use them as contouring sticks! Double use which makes it more bang for your buck x

I absolutely ADORE this foundation stick, it's prefect! I've always had trouble finding the right foundation because I am so pale, plus if I use liquid I get too shiny but powder does nothing for me, so for years I've been using liquid with powder on top. However, this is a perfect product for me, as it is gel and powder together, so I get a really good coverage that doesn't leave me too shiny or chalky looking - PLUS it comes in my pasty pasty shade!! I fell in love with it from the moment I first swatched it - it is velvety smooth and blends in to your skin beautifully. Personally I just chuck it on with no primer, bb creme or moisturiser or anything and blend it with my Manicare beauty sponge and it gives me flawless skin! Definitely love! The only thing is it runs out quickly but it is quite affordable for such an amazing product so I don't mind :)

I absolutely LOVE this foundation. I have sensitive skin and breakout easy when I use most liquid foundations. And powder foundations leave my skin SUPER DRY. So it is really hard to find one that is good for me. Also this is the first foundation that has actually matched my skin tone.

It's so easy to blend out - only need your fingers. Glides over the skin beautifully It is light to medium coverage which I love because I don't like the feeling of heavy, cakey makeup. You can even use to contour by buying a stick a few shades darker and one few shades lighter, it's so blend-able there's no harsh lines and still so lightweight. Definitely shine free! - It blends out to a matte finish and looks like your not wearing much/if any at all. Even without a face primer it lasts ages. Perfect for everyday to night time wear. Gives a perfect subtle coverage and evening out the skin tone.

You can build up the coverage a bit, however with major blemishes you would need to use concealer. And a primer is best with it to smooth out the bumps and cracks.

I may repurchase in the future but I like to test new stuff to see what else is out there. So I won't buy the FITme shine-free foundation stick after this one has finished, but so far this is the best I've ever used!
