Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I love Garnier BB Cream! I have been using it now for going on 4 years. I normally use the standard one and have recommended it to several friends and family and clients (makeup) and have them recommend it to others too after trying it! Now with the oil free, sensitive skin, anti ageing versions there is something for literally EVERY woman! It is great for people with problem skin, mums with no time or energy for makeup application, ladies who don't like wearing foundation because they don't like the weight and feel of it on their skin. I even have my mum (63) wearing it! And my sister 23 who has had problems with severe acne since her mid teens using it too!

BB Cream is easy to use I just apply a little with my hands ten minutes after my moisturiser. It has a very subtle light fragrance which a big plus for me as I have an aversion to strong fragrances. BB Cream does exactly what it says it provides a light lovely coverage whilst giving a little camouflage from any little imperfections and the difference to my complexion is slight and subtle but definitely beautiful! I have never had so many comments about the lovely glow to my complexion - even my husband notices when I'm wearing it or not! And it's lasts all day long. The oil free BB cream is more of a fluid and is a lot runnier than the standard cream. This is excellent for oily skin types you just have to be careful dispensing it is all! The oil free also comes in a significantly smaller tube which is a bit disappointing but that is no doubt due to being a more expensive formula. The Oil free still goes an extremely long way as with the standard cream - you really do only need a little bit! It has the same coverage and leaves your skin feeling and looking great without any greasy shiny patches!

My normal tube lasts me months and months as I don't wear it every day probably 2-3 out of seven but I know people who use it every day and still get a lot out of thier tubes. The smaller tubes of oil free not so much BUT this is still an economical product size as a my sister the poor student will attest to!

I CANNOT say enough fantastic things about this product line! It ticks all the boxes for me: ~quick and easy to use -I'm a mum of 3 under 5 I have no time and no hands to do anything! ~economical - price is great, it's available in supermarket and it lasts ages! ~ great feeling product - I'm a woman who doesn't like the weight of most foundations on my skin but this product does the trick and for going out I just add a little powder to set it and maybe some concealer if needed for trouble spots and I have a beautiful finish on my skin that is gorgeous cover and yet so light and lasts all day all night! ~SPF - brilliant for a bit of protection!

I LOVE it and recommend it to EVERYONE - It's as close to a miracle in a tube that you can get!

For this review I had asked for the Medium colour, but have also used the Light colour previously. I love this product, it covers all my imperfections and debags those under eyes! I also wear it with foundation over the top and the coverage lasts all day with or without foundation. It is very reasonably priced in the supermarket since you dont need to use heaps to get the look you want which means it lasts a long time. Because I have pretty fair skin I would prefer to stay with the Light shade but have found that I am able to use the Medium since the foundation helps even out the colouring on my neck and chest.

I have struggled in the past to find a BB cream that is the right shade, hydrates, reduces the appearance of pores, light, good coverage, non-cakey, help control oil and affordable. I think Garnier have hit the nail on the head with this product.

Its perfect. I have tried a few BB cream and found that they all had pros and cons, were with this BB cream its all pros in my eyes. I had a few friends comment on my skin and asked what I was doing different, they were shocked when I told them it was BB cream.

I have been wearing this everyday to work. No need for any touch ups, stays on and looks great. I also find this great as a makeup primer for when I'm going out at night. Foundation sets wonderfully to it and keeps it flawless. It truly is a beautiful product. A must have in your makeup bags ladies.

After reading everyones glowing reviews of the BB Cream I decided to finally try it! And even better - it was on sale for $16 this week at the supermarket! I found this one for oily and combination skin, which is great for me, because parts of my face get really dry (especially under my eyes and around my nose) but other parts get really shiny and oily (mainly my forehead). I also tend to get some redness on my nose and chin and this promised to help with it, so I figured 'why not?'.

The bottle is really pretty and simple, the smell is nice, but barely noticeable (which for sensitive skin is best), it was easy to apply and feels great on. The first time I tried it I followed the instructions and used it instead of moisturizer, and had it under my foundation. But after reading a couple of other reviews I used a little bit of moisturizer the next day. The results are great. It feels nice and comfortable on, it helped my foundation last longer, and my skin tone looks so much less patchy now. Love it!

I thought that this BB cream was amazing. It is the first drug store BB cream that I have found works with my skin and does not make it too oily. I have combination skin with a bit of extra oil on my T zone. I trialled the BB cream (medium) a couple of different ways and found that it made my foundation last longer and provided a good coverage base layer. I tried it with and without using moisturiser under it and thought it worked well both ways and still kept my foundation in place. I used my fingers to apply the formula and thought that the product spread over the skin easily and evenly. I have a portwine birthmark on the left side of my face and found that the BB cream gave a good amount of coverage and the SPF15 is an added bonus.

When choosing this product i wasnt sure which shade to choose so i chose medium, in hind sight i should've chosen light. I like the coverage it gives when applied thickerish, but i have to apply it thinly because its slightly too dark for my skin. I havent used it for long enough to know how it works on minimising pores Will definately try again making sure i chose the correct shade

I love the idea of this product but unfortunately it didn't do for me what it said it would.

Appearance- The look of the product is really nice. It's in a thin tube with a small tip.

Consistency- This product is very thin and quite runny so you need to be careful when getting it out of the tube. It isn't very easy to apply and seems quite dry and that it won't blend well.

Colour and Coverage- The colour is perfect and becomes invisible but somehow covers imperfections quite well! It definitely isn't as good as a full foundation but it does provide a nice even finish.

Smell- I didn't notice any overpowering smell when applying or during the day so that was nice.

Effectiveness- This product wasn't very moisturising for me and even with a moisturiser on underneath it was quite hard to blend. It claims to provide a matte finish but I found it to look quite shiny and after a couple of hours my face was quite oily. I tried it the next day with a powder over top and it was still shiny.

Would I recommend it? I would recommend the original BB cream as I found it better overall.

I was sceptical about using this to say the least!!!!! It seemed weird to me that moisturiser and makeup were combined. But I really liked it. I applied to my skin with no other base and found the coverage great, for those wanting a heavier coverage it probably wouldn't suit as even with a second layer its not quite enough. Perfect for me as a busy mum though who doesn't wear heaps of make up and has minimal time for my beauty regime. Would definitely use again. My skin felt nice, not greasy so yep definitely a bit of me. Thanks very much for the opportunity to review xo

The first thing i noticed about this bb cream is just how runny it is, i got far too much out the first time i used it as it just flows out so easily! I find using a very small amount, a tiny bit more than pea size is all i need to cover my face, so the bb cream is going to last quite a while if you only use a small amount like myself, even if you use it every day, and for such a decent price it is definitely worth the money. I find it quick and easy to use, takes all of 1 minute, if that to apply it and blend it in well, which is great for all the busy women out there! I have combination skin, so this is perfect for it, it gives me a fresh dewy look without looking dry or shiny in certain places, my whole face looks even and flawless. Its not so thick that my freckles still show through, something i like as all other foundations i have used cover them up and i end up looking too done up. The fact that this gives me a more natural even coverage while not hiding all my freckles, is perfect. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends.

I found this BB cream really really good! Its much more mattifying than other from this range, and I found that it lasted me through the whole day without starting to slide around on my face, or even losing its matte appearance! I was quite surprised at this as it is noticeably more liquid-y than other BB cream products from this range, but it still blends fine and does noticeably reduce uneven skin tone or redness! This product is perfect for lazy days where you don't feel like spending ages on your makeup but also don't want to look like you've been dragged through a hedge backwards (which is how i usually do look without makeup) so I will definitely be using it again!!!
