Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation Review

I won this product from a competition and man alive I'm glad I did! I found that I had to use quite a bit to get a decent coverage and after that I found it very hard to blend with my skin. I found it to not even last a full day.

One good thing I noticed after giving it a go for 3 days was that I did not get any breakouts (which I would usually get at least a couple over this period.)

I've been using this for a couple of months now & it really has done nothing to improve my skin at all. I still have the mad zit breakout, my redness & uneveness is still the same as before. It doesn't even stay on all day & it sits weird on my face. It kind of goes a bit matte but then does some sort of weird blotchy thing in on my nose & around my eyes. I'm continuing to use it as I spent money on it & I hate waste but I will not be using it again.

This is a great medium coverage foundation for me. It goes on well, but tends to disappear by mid afternoon - however I haven't yet tried this product with either a primer or a powder over top. It made my skin break out for the first two weeks of using it, then all of a sudden my skin got heaps better. It glides on easy, and one pump does my whole face, unless I want extra full coverage, then I'll go in again and do another layer. I love the packaging, I think it looks nice and clean, and for the price I find it a pretty good foundation :)

this is one really great foundation it is easy to use glides on nice and does not feel like you are actually wearing any thing at all, the colours blend into your skin and after using this foundation my skin feels softer i recommend to buy this. price is reasonable.

The first time I used this foundation, I really liked it! I used it when going out, so also put powder over the top of it. I felt it gave my skin a nice glow and good coverage. The second time I used it I tried it by itself, with no powder. I noticed it was hard to blend in and didn't seem to sit well on my skin. After experimenting a bit more, I have found i like using it as a concealer on red spots, applied with a little brush, and then my usual powder over my entire face. This seems to last well and look good. I'm not sure if it is improving my skin at all, but it definitely hasn't reacted or made it any worse! Overall I like this foundation, but only when used in conjunction with the rest of my make-up regime.

Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation has simple clear and blue package colouring. I like that it is dispensed through a pump so less product is wasted. About one pump can cover my face so it is great value for money.

I found that my skin has broken out less since using this foundation but that I still need to use concealer. (I get really red spots which are still visible even with the full coverage foundation on.)

I've been impressed with the wear of this foundation above all! It really is long wearing and wears well. The way you put it on and let is set is what you will have until you take it off.

I bought this for use occasionally - I don't often wear foundation, usually only when I am going out or for a special occasion.

It's not full coverage, which I prefer, and I largely use it to even out my skin tone and provide some coverage where I need it. I have the shade 021 nude and it is a good match for my olivey pale yellow skin. It lasts pretty well on me when I use a primer and setting powder. I apply it with my Real Techniques buffing brush which smooths it onto the skin pretty well. I usually use one pump, two if I want a bit more coverage.

I like that this has SPF 20, and I have not experienced noticeable flashblack when wearing this.

My skin is largely very clear anyway, so I did not notice any improvement. I don't think this foundation would replace a good skincare regime either.

That being said it serves its purpose for me - an occasional use light foundation.

Until now the best coverage I've gotten was from a powder, but this foundation is really really good. I was lucky enough to be one of the winners & have been using it for at least a month now. Half way through I ran out of primer, and as I have oily/combination skin, I really saw the benefits of primer with this product. It does last all day, my skin doesnt get as many blemishes as it was, and the colour I chose is perfect. With the pump, the amount you get out is measured so less wastage and looking at the bottle, I think it might last me 6 months and I use it almost everyday!

I found this product was not great at all. I found it way too hard to blend, and it just felt really waxy and sort of sat on my skin rather than blended in. The colour was one I would chose in other brands but it was so much lIghter in this brand. Used twice and gave it away to a theater company as I wouldn't even recommend it or give it to a friend.

I have been a true revlon client for about 8years now.. But after I tried this foundation and after a night out my face still looked amazing! I love how it doesn't look to thick on your face but gives you a beautiful even coverage. My new favourite!
