Youtube made me buy it!

Purchased this sculpt and highlight kit as I saw it was a collaboration with youtuber Chloe Morello - I've never been good with bronzer/contouring so was wanting someone simple and all in one - so this fitted the bill perfectly. I paid roughly $30 from farmers and was so excited to use it. The highlighter in this quad is pointless it provides minimal if any glow, so I barely used it which results in an almost empty palette expect one powder which I hate as I cant through it away as it would be a waste, but it just takes up space otherwise. The bronzer in this is average, nothing an essence or NYX bronzer couldn't do better, the contouring powder is the only good part of this quad, I found the colour average but it was a nice introduction product to contouring. The banana powder is nice, but settles under my under eyes and in lines badly. Wouldn't purchase again and made me think twice before buying something due to it being a you tuber collab.

It’s ok

I’m a die-hard Revlon fan, but wasn’t that impressed with this purchase. I think I got it on a buy 2 get a 3rd free promo at Farmers, didn’t really need it as I have another brands contour kit that I was already using and wanted to try this.

I think I was expecting something more luminous, and less beige (as in ho hum). I could have got similar products out of my Nana’s makeup bag!

Now, it’s at the back of my makeup stash, and I really only use it when I’m going away and only because it’s half the size of my fave palette of another brand.

The Bronze/Contour are Good

I like the bronze/contour shades. I have cool undertones and these suit me quite well, unlike other bronzers this one adds warmth but doesn't look orangey . The sculpt is also a decent shade, however it was a bit hard to blend. I've use these happily for quite a while. In contrast, I stopped using the yellow shade as it didn't do much for dark circles at all and gave my skin an unflattering yellow tinge. The highlight is alright but doesn't really give shine, and seemed to have a bit of a texture that I didn't particularly like. I prefer mecca max liquid light for my highlight as it really gives shine. This was a gift, I will look at replacing it with something smoother and more bendable in future, but I've been happily using the contour shades for a long time.

A worthwhile contour kit for sure

I did really like this product. I couldn't really tell the two darker bronzers apart so used up one and then the other, but both colours were natural and blended nicely on my skin. The highlighter was very subtle (maybe too subtle?). The undereye banana colour, I didn't like to start with, because it was a bit cakey on my 46 yo skin (smile wrinkles under the eyes) but then I started using it just in the inner corners of my eyes and I love it - brightens your eyes for sure. Only problem is that I'm out of the bronzers/highlighter and still have plenty of the undereye.... A big case to carry for the one remaining product.

Tips: Don't apply the banana where you get smile lines under your eyes.
