NYX Professional Makeup Wonder Pencil Review

I asked a question on the forum about this 6 months ago for a suggestion of an eyeliner pencil that wasn't pure white and a lot of the ladies mentioned this pencil.

I purchased this in Light because I wanted to use this as bottom liner and I have been using this a lot. The formula is soft and creamy, it is a light beige shade and glides on very easy.

I find that because it goes on really easy, the stay power is gone by the 5th hour, I would've like it to have a little more stay power.

It gives my under eye a brighter fresh look and opens my eyes more.

I also use this in the middle of my mouth when I wear nude lipstick, it gives an illusion that I have bigger lips and gives a light ombre effect.

If Im in a rush to do my eyebrows I add this under my eyebrows to sharpen the edge and use a cotton bud to fade it slightly.

It is a really versatile and cheap product to use, I highly recommend this.

I have the lightest colour of this wonder pencil and I use it everyday in my waterline and inner corner to brighten my eyes/ make them look bigger. It works very well for this purpose. I also use this product around my lips to define my lipstick and again it its great! I find it is too thick to use as concealer and doesn't give overly good coverage on spots.

I love this versatile wooden pencil. Its nice and creamy, smooth to apply and I love its in a pencil form for precision work around the lips, under the brow, spot concealing or lining my waterline, it does a great job at brightening my eyes and making them look bigger and brighter. Its also super handy as a base for highlighting the inner tear duct. It doesn't last as long as Id like on the waterline but it does last well on other areas of my face.

Nude waterline, lip liner to make sure that red lip doesn't bleed and concealer. In one pencil.

To be honest, I don't use it as a concealer, but mostly as a lip liner, I find if I overline with this, and then blend into my foundation, my red lipsticks feather less throughout the day. Its also great if travelling because it takes up less space in the makeup bag and no chance of smashing the little MAC glass bottles. Wouldn't recommend it for the under eye area, but much smaller areas are its forte.

got this a while ago from cherry culture when they had their sale. Love this product, it definitely is an all purpose product. I mostly use it on my waterline and use it to define my eyebrows. Would definitely recommend to someone wanting to try it. And for the price itself, it's not bad at all.

Looking all around for a nude liner for my darker shades of lipsticks I found this lovely with its promises of being able to blend into most skin tones. It meets its promise and some!!

This is called Wonder Pencil for a reason as it’s multipurpose and it’s a great value. Being able to be used as a lip liner, eye liner and concealer it’s a must in your kit, especially if you’re a traveller it takes up less room than taking all 3 items. The fair/light shade was on the peach side rather than pink so suited my skin perfectly for use as a liner on my lips, it was able to over edge my lips to make them look bigger and fuller without it being obvious, and my lipstick didn’t feather out beyond the lines, filling in my lips also worked as a primer to hold lipstick in place for longer too.

- Lip liner: As a lip liner it is perfect as it means I don’t need several shades to match all my lipsticks, this one nude can cater for each and every one, it allows me to get a perfect line and prevents feathering, also acts like a primer if filling lips to keep lipstick in its place.

- Eye liner: As a eye liner it’s great for making a softer effect, used in the water line and on the top and lower lash line it can give a soft romantic look to your eyes, almost dewy if matched with a soft brown mascara and pink blush lids

- Concealer: not the best in the world for hiding blemishes and dark patches but in a pinch its better than nothing at all, its creamy formula means it blends in with your BB cream or foundation really effectively

The pencil is wooden barrelled which needs to be sharpen using a pencil sharpener every few months, the formula is slightly soft so it needs to be popped into a fridge before so that it doesn’t crumble or easily snap.

So this pencil has 3 uses but I only use it in my waterline. I've been looking for a perfect flesh toned liner for years and I found it! This is super creamy and lasts almost all day in my waterline. It doesn't hurt or tug at my eyes when I apply it and it is the perfect shade to brighten up my eyes. I have had this for ages and i feel like it'll last me forever

A great product for the price. I can't really speak to it's blemish concealing claims, although I'm dubious because it's very crayon like, I would expect it to be cakey for this purpose. I personally love to use it for lining my waterline. It brightens up your whole eye look and makes me look awake/refreshed, which is great especially because I'm frequently doing a smoky eye. You'll get a trillion applications out of one pencil.

Skin coloured pencils are my absolute gold trick to looking awake. They are much better than white eyeliners as they look more natural.

I have been using a Lord and Berry pencil to line my inner waterline for about a year now. I wanted a second pencil for my makeup bag at work and because of the low price point (half the price of Lord and Berry), I decided to give this one a whirl. Though not as creamy as the Lord and Berry, this is still very smooth for an eyeliner. Because it is not too smooth, I have been using it as a concealer around the edge of my lips when applying dark coloured lipsticks to smooth out the lines.

I've been very impressed with this pencil and I'll definitely purchase it again.
