Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I struggle to decide how I feel about this BB cream. I put it on in the morning and it glided on smoothly. The colour was great and the coverage was nice and light. However even though I set it with a powder, it barely stayed on my skin. I have dry skin that tends to hold foundation in place but this would come off on everything which is a pain when you work with children. The packaging was nice and simple and the bottle is a great size for travelling. The BB had a nice fragrance that wasn't too strong and really just smelled like a moisturiser It didn't irritate my skin which is nice but because it was so high maintenance during the day I would rather just not wear any makeup. I will still most likely use it in summer at the beach because it did moisturise nicely but just not something I can wear to work.

As I work in retail, I really need a concealer that does several jobs in one. To cover redness and acne, to evenly cover my skin, and to last a full, active, often sweaty shift. I felt this product didn't really work for my needs. Yes, it was easy to apply and felt smooth on my skin, but it didn't fully cover my redness and acne bits. A good second coat was needed, plus more for the stubborn red bits. I like that the product had a decent amount included. It's more suited for a casual sort of day. There was no overpowering smell, or any 'chemical' feel that was too harmful to my skin.

I normally have quite sensitive skin and this product didn't negatively affect my skin in any way which was great. It had a nice, creamy consistency, however, I found it difficult to know just how much to apply. I found it easy to apply, but it didn't quite have the coverage that I was hoping it would. It works nicely as a moisturiser/primer, but I, personally, wouldn't use it solely as a foundation as it was too sheer a coverage. It covered up some parts of my skin that I don't like, but not all. Overall, it was a nice product to use, but I don't think I would spend money on it.

I do like this product, the skin type and colour suited me well! With the added SPF in the BB Cream, the scent is a little strong as in the fact it smells to much like sunscreen which isn't the most attractive smell/scent.

Although while I did question BR as of the fact the packaging is a little suspicious with the pink sticker "Sensitive skin" could be peeled off and underneath it says "Anti-Ageing" although I was reassured by BR that I did receive sensitive skin.

The Cream is in a 50ml tube, which is perfect for light traveling.

The Sensitive Skin product is truly made for sensitive skin, it hasn't made my face break out, nor has it caused itching etc

It does last all day! Although without moisturiser on it feels terrible, my face feels sticky and gooey. I am still working on finding a technique that best suits me. Unfortunately the BB cream doesn't give full coverage, so I haven't had the confidence to go out with just the BB cream on without other make up. While it doesn't hid all imperfections it has hidden most such as my redness and evened my skin tone.

BB Cream is perfect for pictures! You can get flawless pictures with just the BB Cream on. It is easier to airbrush with BB Cream on! (While not everyone airbrushes; I airbrush for my photography not for everyday pictures).

All in all I will be buying this product again.

This BB cream is lovely and smooth to apply and has a nice scent, but when it's dried it leaves a sticky residue on my face which is not all that pleasant. I like to apply mineral powder after my BB, and my powder doesn't go on as smoothly as it does with other BBs. It's too thick and creamy for me. It's also way too oily for my skin. I do have a combination skin type of oily and sensitive, so it is hard to find a BB or moisturizer that works for both of these issues! I assume it's meant to have a matte finish, but it makes me look shiney and I prefer a powdery finish. I think it would still be good for people with sensitive skin as it did not irritate me. It seemed to last all day, however the coverage is light- too light for me, it blended nicely with my skin tone, and felt super lush and nourishing, but I probably wouldn't buy it again because I don't like looking this shiney! Perhaps I should try the one for combo skin types and see how that goes.. Price wise it's ok, but to be honest I'd rather pay another $5 ish and go back to my favourite that I know works for me!

I have temperamental and sensitive skin :) sometimes I can use anything and sometimes my skin reacts very angrily. My skin is quite clear aside from some dark under eye circles that I inherited. The BB cream was alot thicker than other BB Creams I've used but I quite liked this it made it feel a little bit more like a makeup than just a skin treatment. It smelt a little bit like sunscreen but again I quite like this it reminds me of summer. The colour was absolutely perfect on me I have trouble with BB creams being a little bit too orange for my very pale skin but this was spot on for me. It Is a very light coverage but it did leave my skin looking brighter and healthier and a bit shinier which I actually like it gives my skin a bit of a glow. I tried this over the week in different ways - On day 1 I tried it on its own and applied it like I would a moisturiser with my hands. Popped a little concealer on my dark circles for some coverage for a light makeup day. This lasted my work day before I thought it would need touching up. The second day I tested it as a primer underneath my double wear foundation, I moisturised and then used the bb cream with a blender sponge and double wear foundation over the top. This lasted all day and would have easily lasted into the night - was a fantastic primer really helped the makeup to last gave it a more flawless finish. The third day I used it on its own again but on my way to the gym (I hate to go totally naked its scary for everyone ). A bit of moisturiser then the BB cream. Help up ok after an hour of resistance training with moderate sweating . For the next day I thought I would try this as a foundation in conjunction with concealer and the rest of my face I would normally put on but set it with a mineral powder. This lasted really well and lasted my work day. It didnt seem to rub off or have any shine peeking through. All in all I really liked this product and will continue to use it as a primer for for full face days and as a face pick me up on days that Im not wearing makeup. I did have a slight issue under the eyes with this it did sting a little bit like sunscreen does near my eye area and did dry it out a little and give it a little ezcema. I stopped using it under my eye area and everywhere else was fine I would say my under eyes must be just that little bit more sensitive.

This is a great product, I have very sensitive skin, and find that the majority of products out there make my skin peel or a very least itchy. This cream was light, i used my hands to apply the product & found it easy to move around the face. The smell isn't that great , it reminds me of sunscreen. But thankfully the smell doesn't stay around long. It is a very light coverage cream. Due to that I was applying every 3 or 4 hours. The price is reasonable for what it does do, it did help the tiny red veins on my face and has a sunscreen in it which is a bonus. The packaging was'nt appealing to me at all, it looks to clinical. A more luxury designed box would help with the aesthetics. Overall it was an okay product.

I was lucky enough to try this alongside Garnier BB cream for oily skin because I wanted to see which one worked better for me. I have fairly oily skin and it is sensitive to creams and foundations that are heavily scented. so I thought this product would work perfectly for me. It comes in a fairly large tube, similar to a tube of lotion. It has a slight fragrance, but I actually find it quite pleasant. It has a thicker cream consistency, which is quite misleading becauae when you apply it to your skin it turns to a much more runny consistency.

The problem came when I applied it. It offers little to no coverage. I have somewhat problematic skin, and was basically just hoping this would smooth out my skin tone a little bit. Unfortunately, immediately after I applied it, I saw that it accentuated every flaw, although I can say it did cover my redness. It applied very unevenly and made my skin look extremely shiny. I wouldn't have minded the dewiness if it had even a little coverage, but all it did was make me shiny on top of making blemishes stand out more. It never truly sets into your skin, either, but remains kind of sticky and wet. Setting with a powder doesn't help either, because the consistency of the cream does not mesh well with powder. 

To anyone looking to try a Garnier BB cream, I would definitely recommend the oily skin formula over this one, even if you have dry skin. If you moisturize and don't use a powder, it doesn't make your skin look dry but rather gives you a nice matte finish.

One thing it did have was it didn't irritate my skin at all which I loved. When I usually buy foundations or moisturizing creams it leaves my skin with a tingling feeling and can cause a lot more redness but this BB cream was very mild which is great.

Hi, I am used to a heavier coverage BB Cream. I found it easy to apply with no streakyness. But it didn't cover up by blemishes. It didn't irritate my skin though which was good. I did use it with a primer underneath and also with out. Both applications lasted all day long. The product smells nice and fresh but doesn't linger so I found that great. The packaging looks very attractive. I would use it again when I don't have any blemishes to hide.
