Truely a life saver!

This little plastic tub of nail polish remover pads is a miracle!! They remove every trace of nail polish, all without smelling all chemically and yuck! After using these twice in the past week I think I can say I have definitely seen positive effects on my nails they seem stronger abs and not dry (like the typical acetone removers make my nails feel.)

The only possible downside is how thin the nail polish remover pads are! If you use one pad for all 10 nails it ends up becoming a little difficult by the 10th as the pad is all crumpled up in a little ball. However this is only minor.

Handy & Nourishing remover

I loved trialling these nail polish remover pads! I have a few Manicare products that are favourites and hadn't tried these pads before!

The little container IS super cute. It had a lovely designer floral cover, and IS a handy size for travel and handbags when the chipped polish nails just have to go! It's also nice a nice size to sit in a cupboard/drawer rather than the big bottle of polish remover and a stack of cotton pads!

The scent of this one I trialled was floral and it definitely smelt more floral than the normal nail polish remover. It actually didn't smell like any polish remover I'd smelt before. It was also acetone free, which is fantastic as it's not as drying on nails or skin. I didn't have dried out cuticles after using this product - a big plus!

I tried this on my fingernails with just a couple of coats of polish and a top coat, and one pad would do one hand. With red polish it got a little messy, as the oily nature of the pads seemed to transfer to skin - BUT red polish is never pretty to remove, regardless of the removal product - so these pads removed it easily, and I used a second pad to clean up the colour left and they looked great. My nails didn't feel dried out, which was great. My nails did also appear brighter, which I think is the oils left from the remover on the nail, but they did look pretty and healthy after using these pads.

If you were to paint your nails straight away you'd want to wash your hands, or use an alcohol wipe of some sort to get rid of some of those moisturising oils in the product so the next mani lasted the distance.

I also tried these pads on my toes - with some fairly heavy glitter polish going on (4 weeks old too), and these pads did struggle a bit. I would normally use an acetone remover for glitter mani's as they're incredibly difficult to remove, so I wasn't expecting the pads to pack the same punch - but I wanted to try. It did remove some glitter, but it took a lot of work and a few extra pads to get the glitter off.

All up. I like them. I like the convenience of them - you don't have to have polish and cotton pads. You don't get the 'fluff' left behind like cotton pads can leave either. They smelt surprisingly pleasant and probably the least 'chemical' smelling of the many nail products I've tried.

On nails with just straight polish or a shimmer, these pads do a fantastic job at removing polish, with just one pad per hand/foot (maybe less if it's a light mani) and you're nails and cuticles won't feel dried out afterwards which is a big plus!

Thanks BR & Manicare for a fab product to review!

Manicure Nail Polish Remover Pads

I received this product for trial in the floral scented variant. There is a subtle, inoffensive floral scent to it. At the end of the day though, we're still dealing with a solvent here and I’m okay with that. The scent is a bit of a novelty but not something that’s essential for me when I’m looking for a nail polish remover.

The packaging is compact and practical. They come in a small white container with a secure screw top lid which should hopefully prevent the pads from drying out. I llike that it doesn’t take up much space on my already overlloaded dressing table!

Really though, nail polish remover is one of those essential basics that I don’t often put as much thought into as the polishes I choose. What’s most important to me is that they get the job done without too much effort on my part. These pads took off my black and dark brown polishes without a fuss. It takes about 2-3 pads on my nails to take them all off depending on the length of my nails. I guess that would work out more expensive over time. There are 32 pads per container and I never go out without painted nails.

I found the process a little messy, but I am used to using express remover containers with the sponges inside. Ultimately though nail polish is messy business and I’m not complaining.

I think these will be great for travel as they are small and easy to throw in your bag. I think I will keep a stash of these at home for that reason.

Tips: Just be careful when you’re first pulling them out of the container. They stick together and are thinner than you expect. The first time I used them, I grabbed three at once and started using them together without realising.

Another Manicare Product That Ticks All The Boxes

"Ewww that stuff stinks, can you at least do that outside?" Are the words that normally leave my husbands mouth when it's time to pull out the nail polish remover. Not with Manicare Nail Polish Remover Pads. Specifically the Limited Edition Floral Scented pads. They smell very moreish, delicate and not at all chemically. I'll start from the outside and work my way in. The packaging is stunning and incredibly convenient. The compact size and screw top seal makes them perfect for your handbag or the car without the worry of them leaking everywhere. The light fragrance is a pleasant surprise in comparison to other nail polish removers which hit the nostrils no less than a bottle of pure methylated spirits! The manicare pads are delicately scented, so nicely I would go as far to say I intentionally kept smelling them. Thin but mighty! The pads are very thin, but super resilient. I really put them to the test and removed five layers of polish, two of which were glitter, and we all know how much of a challenge glitter polish is to remove. Am I right ladies? In total I used three pads and my nails came out pristine and clean, not one spec of glitter to be seen. Normally after removing any nail polish with standard removers I have to scrub my hands several times to remove the potent odor & get rid of the chemicals on my skin. Then I have to apply cuticle oil and a mountain of moisturizer. Not with the manicare pads. These babies smell so good, and if that wasn't enough, they actually moisturize and nourish your nails and delicate cuticles too. My nail beds are lovely and shiny and there is zero chemical damage or flaking anywhere on my nails. I'm now on the hunt for the coconut pads as well so I can have some for the car for last minute hospital shifts and fast removal, as well as some for my handbag. This product is effective, affordable and beautifully put together - the smell, the packaging. Everything screams convenience here. Hats off to you Manicare, this lovely product might be small, but it ticks all the nail care boxes xxx Thanks for the trial opportunity BR xx

Nail Polish Be Gone!

I use nail polish remover regularly so this was a great trial for me. They come in a cute little round container with a screw on lid which fits securely to stop them drying out, it holds 32 pads. It says floral scent which is quite subtle and definitely not stinky like normal nail polish remover.  They are quite wet which is great as they take little effort to use.

I had dark blue on my toenails so thought I would start with that, when I was removing the polish the pad split in 2 which was annoying, upon further inspection I realised I was using 2 wipes lol duh! The wipes are super thin so it is easy to do. The polish came off easily .

The big test for me was the silver glitter polish, I had trouble removing this last time, well I was quite blown away as it come off pretty easily. Awesome as now I can wear it more often and not worry about it not coming off. I find using 1 pad for each hand works well.

The last test I did was on black polish, once again it came of with ease, no harsh rubbing and no damage to my nails.

These pads are really great and so quick and easy to use. Don't have to worry about any spillage or stinky fumes. A very convenient way to remove nail polish. I would definitely purchase these once they run out.

Found My Holy Grail Nail Polish Remover

Usually I would wait closer to the review date to place my review but I loved these babies so much I just had to review them early because my mind had already been blown.

So the things I look for in a nail polish remover, whether it be a pad or a liquid are - does it take the nail polish off well, does it smell strong of chemicals and most importantly does it strip my nails after removal?

So how did these remover pads score? 3/3 Baby.

These are amazing remover pads, not only do they take off the nail polish well (I used 1 pad to take off both hands - yes you heard me, 1 pad), but they are the best smelling ones and don't smell chemically as it has some nice scents in there. And holy heckaroo - my nails were moisturised and nourished and did not dry out afterwards. I re-applied new polish afterwards and it just glided on nicely.

I'm definitely going to be purchasing these and painting my nails more often because I was always put off painting my nails because of how stripped they felt (and looked).

Tips: BUY THESE NOW - You'll thank me, I promise xx

I'm adding this to my bathroom cupboard

I tried this out on several different colours throughout the week (a good opportunity to test whether my nail polish is still good to use too!) Even though the pads are quite thin they are strong enough to do the job properly. I could do all my fingernails with three pads but if it was only two layers of paint you could probably do both hands with one for each hand. That dryness you get from regular acetone, you don't get that using these pads but it still removes it all of the nail polish. I didn't even need to oil my cuticles afterwards to try and remedy the dryness I normally get which is a plus for me because I do my nails quite a bit and it means its one less thing to do. The smell was surprisingly quite pleasant especially compared to the regular stuff, no need to open the windows to air out the room afterwards, you could sit and clean you nails in your living room with these. I've done my nails so many times this week testing them out on different colours to remove, Blue, Red, Purple, Black Pearl and Glitter overcoats, it took it all off with no problems. Even after trialling there's plenty of pads left over so at such a good price and actually doing such a good overall job properly I think I'll be adding this to my bathroom cupboard. Would happily recommend to anyone

MANICARE MANI MAGIC

You get 32 pads that are saturated in nail polish remover. These come in such a cute container that will easily fit into your make-up bag.

I received the FLORAL SCENT as part of the trial (Thanks Beauty Review!) and I am really impressed with the subtlety of these, usually I use acetone removers and clear the room out.

As with any nail polish remover some polishes are easier to remove than others. I used a variety and found that the metallic ones took longer to remove whereas the glossy ones came off much easier. Just leave the pad on your nail a bit longer then rub off. I used 2 pads and my nails weren't left dry and I didn't feel the need to rinse them.

Tips: Ideal for travel with no worry of any spillage.

Non messy Nail polish Wipes

These Manicare nail polish remover pads work really well. The pads come in a compact round tub with pack of 32 individually soaked wipes which is super handy to use and store in your handbag. I received the floral scented one and I must say these smell so much better than the regular acetone nail polish removers. Super easy to use without worrying about spilling remover on the bathroom sink or other surfaces. I found that one pad was enough to remove medium colored polish but I did need to use 2 for the really darker shades just to get the polish completely off and have my nails looking really clean. These claim to be gentle and moisturizing and that’s absolutely correct. My nails didn’t feel rough and dry after taking the polish off like my usual removers. For the pack size I feel that the price is affordable. Definitely a must in my bathroom cabinet from now on. A really good product.

Didn’t enjoy product

Even tho this product is non messy. I didn’t enjoy using this to take of my nail polish, didn’t seem to remove all my nail polishes as fast or easily as a cotton ball does for myself.

Definitely will try this product again but not until I run out of my cotton wall
