LA Colors Nail Polish Review

I owned about 15/20 of them and I thoroughly enjoy them. Like I never paint my nails expecting them to never chip or even last me a week so these are perfect for a one night event. I got like a pack of them from some makeup sale i think and i've never had a problem. Theres enough colours to match every outfit or event and even every season. Some were really inconsistent, like some had a beautiful easy to apply consistency and then others were dried up and so unusable. The polishes have the typical toxic smell so always apply them in a ventilated area. Came in cute little bottles too so they dont take up much room and they make spending the $10 on the pack that much more worth it. They all need more than one coat, a base coat and top coat though.

I picked up a handful of these at the Warehouse when on sale and thought they would be good for nail art and just general colours for my collection (and play fun with my daughter).

They are very thin and sheer to apply, the brush could be a lot better as I find it leaves bold streaks through the actual polish.

The ones I used don't work well as a water marble effect polish either as it just glugs up and doesn't dry.

It has an average dry time but takes at least 3 coats to have full coverage which then dents easily. It didn't even last a full day on my nails before looking worse for wear. Applying a topcoat would be a waste of a top coat.

I had actually seen these nailpolishes around, but had never brought any. Lucky for me, I got on as a wee present so was able to try It that way.

These nail polishes come in a bottom heavy glass bottle, which is see through so you get a pretty accurate idea what colour the nailpolish is. Something that I think it very very handy. It has a black Plastic lid which twists off the bottle to reveal a nail polish wand attached.

I personally think the brush is nothing fancy. It's quite slim And narrow so you do need to do a few strokes to completely coat yours nails.

I actually like the formula of this nail polish. It is quite thin but that means it dries really fast so you can do a few coats and it doesn't take that long to dry which is always a bonus

The colour I have is a metallic silver which definitely packs a pigment. One coat provides full coverage and colour, however I still do two coats just to make the colour more vibrant.

I think this nail polish is good value for money, however I have only tried one colour so I'm not sure if the entire range is the same. Although this polish has good aspects if so has negative aspects such as the thin brush. Another big negative for this product is it only last around 2 days (if that) in my nails before it starts chipping which isn't ideal!

Would I repurchase? Yes, but only if there was a colour I really really liked.

I really like the stay power of these pail polishes and the amazing wide range of colors. I find it very easy to apply without too much mess, with a beautiful consistency. They also last a very long time , that's if you don't use them up too quickly. Beautiful product, I'm very pleased with the nail polishes I have.

I got given a few of these for my birthday. I love the colour range this company has, and the price is great, but these polishes are really average.

The applicator is average, and the bottles are a good size but the formula isn't great at all. I had a really nice neon pink but it took 3 coats to get it somewhat opaque and it didn't even look how it did in the bottle. Of course because I had to do three coats it took forever to dry and I was really annoyed at that.

The glitters are good, however I had one polish that was a light pink with glitters in it, I was so excited to use it as not many cheap brands have unique colours like that but when I opened it it was all thick and gluggy, the brush bristles were sticking up everywhere and I was just very disappointed. These don't even last very long, mine only lasted about 2 days on me before chipping which was very disappointing.

I won't be buying these again despite the cheap price, I think there are better polishes out there for $5 or cheaper.

I first came across this brand when I saw them in Postie Plus and thought little if not nothing of them. I thought they were cheap and I was on a "cheap is bad" kick. It wasn't until I was birthday gifted some from my darling friend Sav that I realized how wrong I was, and now I own four of these suckers.

I was surprised at how pigmented these polishes are. One brush stroke was enough to hide my nail almost completely, but I did two coats to make sure it was opaque. The formula seems really thick but it spreads so easily and its one of the easiest polishes I've applied.

They staying power is good, but not great. Depending on the color you get you can have chips show a day after application or a week. I've had Dasmel on for 2 days and there is already slight wear on them. They are absolutely perfect! And the best part about these polishes is that they don't make my nails peel! I am one happy camper and for $5 I'll be buying more!

I have a beautiful irridecent pink shade from this brand I have had for several years now and it is still fine. I like it because it is sheer and pearly it looks nice on its own or because it is sheer it looks really nice over the top of another nail polish. I like how the one I have has not gone all thick icky and the brush is decent making it apply fairly nicely and simply. I got it from Shop miss A online years ago from memory and they had a huge selection to choose from at the time. I feel like this does live up to its claim and us decent quality and lasts. It is worth looking into if you want to fine something different or a specific shade because of the vast collection. Better than other cheap nail varnishes out there and affordable.

These nail polish were $5 at The Warehouse and there were so many pretty colours. I bought few of these colours in my early 20's when I couldn't afford many expensive things, but I still liked painting my nails. The nail polish looked so cute in their glass bottles.

I applied one cost of nail polish to my nails and it was very opaque. I was expected a $2 shop type of quality, but it was much better than that. I didn't find it to be quick drying though. It lasted on for a day or two without chipping. But they were alright for the price and probably do the job for the day.

I won't be using these again though, but I will buy them for kids to use. I think they will have more fun with it than me and I don't have to waste it on expensive nail polish.

I absolutely love love love the colours of LA Colours nail polishes and I really wanted them to be amazing. Unfortunately the staying power of these polishes is virtually non existent.

The brush is perfect - right size and thickness for applying the polish, glides on really well and looks beautiful. It also dries pretty quickly which is great if you don't have heaps of time on your hands waiting for your nails to dry.

Sadly those are the only positives because although they are beautiful they just chip a few hours after application and it doesn't matter how many coats you apply. I've also tried a top coat to see if it will make it last longer but alas it just chips.

I really hope that one day they improve their formula because they are onto to something with these colours. Such a shame.
