Tips: I love the smudge brush on the end ,helps me correct my brows if I make a mistake.
i love love how it has a brush on one side! it help blend and make my eyebrows look in placed and nice. wish it came with a sharpener tho other than that it does me good
I bought this product a few months ago. I draw my eyebrows everyday, because i don't have very nice eyebrows. I went to use this product and i didn't like it at all. The pencil is far to thick, and wears down very quickly. You have to apply it with very little force to try and get a light coat, but even that usually doesn't work. I found that i was constantly sharpening the pencil and wasting the product as it gets stuck in the pencil sharpener. The lead/eyebrow pencil is very cheaply made, and doesn't do a very good job with drawing eyebrows at all. It leaves the brows looking very obvious that they have been drawn on. I have bought this product once and i will never buy again, highly disappointed.
For the most part, this brow pencil does its job, but I find that it wears down far too quickly, and is difficult to sharpen without losing any of the product. I like the effect it has on my brows, but because i lost some of the pencil to sharpening, it was a disappointing buy.
I find that it comes out way too thick and dark (although I need a dark shade for my hair). if it is applied very carefully it can look okay but otherwise is a bit dark, considering I have black hair.
I bought this product on a whim a few months ago after getting my brows done for the first time and thought it could possibly be quite easy to use. I did my research on it and watched some tutorials of it being used and decided it could possibly be for me.
It was about $20 from memory which wasn't to steep and I was so excited to go home and try it out and start experimenting with filling in my brows. It is safe to say I have used this product a handful of times and probably won't use it ever again.
I found the wax didn't transfer very well onto my brows so they were left looking quite sparse. They also didn't allow me to achieve the perfect shape and were a bit wonky and weird because the product isn't the desired consistency. I also found the spoolie just removes most of the product placed into the brow instead of making it look nice and natural. I'm not sure if it's because I'm just learning but I will not be repurchasing, it's not very learner friendly. I will be looking for an easier product to master the art of brows.
This product might be better if I was a bit more experienced but I just find it to difficult to use at this stage.
Tips: Have a sharpener on hand, goes blunt very quickly.
My brows are pretty full to start with and they are dark brown so I don't need an awful lot of filling in. This brow pencil is awesome in its heavy pigmentation. The color matches my eyebrows perfectly and I can get a natually full look with a few strokes of this. It's smooth to draw with and stays on for a long time. It doesn't smudge (thank god! I have a horrible habit of rubbing my eyebrows when I get tired or nervous). The brush on the other end is useless to me as I use a separate brow brush to blend out the color. Before I had bought it I read checked out its reviews and saw that it had plastic packaging, which I didn't mind much as I had an eyeliner with similar packaging. I find that if I shave away at it slowly with a craft knife rather than sharpen it with a sharpener, there are no jagged edges and I can waste a lot less.
Tips: Try sharpening it with a craft knife, it's like shaving off tiny slivers of the plastic and it's difficult at first but there'll be no sharp edges or resistance.
For the price I think this product is good for the money but I don't think I would purchase again as there are other Brow product better than this. The product looks great when first applied but doesn't last for very long and I also felt like I was sharpening it all the time even after little use which could get annoying. If you are looking for a cheap product I would reccomend but if you want to spend a little more you can definitely get a better product.
The waxy texture is great and is extremely pigmented, however if you use the spooly to brush your eyebrow through after, some of the pigment may be brushed off (which is good if you weren't going for an extremely pigmented dark eyebrow look). Doesn't last the whole day but does a good job :)
Tips: Brush before application and only brush after to disperse product more evenly, however if going for a darker eyebrow look don't brush the product through too much or it will disappear.
I was lured into this with reviews on YT & the like & as its sold in the supermarket for me made sense it was a grocery item. The product comes with a dual end 1 end being the retractable pencil which is waxy & the other end being a sponge which is bouncy & by bouncing it or pressing it into the lid brow powder is distributed into the sponge. Ingenuity imo. The product is pigmented and glides easily onto skin & brows. The powder is also pigmented but also both pencil and powder are forgiving and easy to smudge blend and conceal. I found there is quite a decent amount of product also. For the affordable price & ease of access this product goes a quality performance I would reccomend this to begginers & pros because it can hold up to other products. I find the powder is helpful being attached to the end of the pencil but it does replace the spooley which is a necessity when taming brows. All in all affordable quality.
