Maybelline Color Whispers Review

I love these lipsticks. I currently own five of these and will definitely purchase more if the colours are right. They are a lightweight gel type lipstick which has a lightweight colour. I find this product great for everyday use as the add a pop of colour without drying out my lips.

They are not super long lasting but I don't mind reapplying them

This is the perfect lipstick for daytime wear, especially if you're not in the mood to wear something bright but want to wear lipstick anyway. It's on the affordable side too, especially when there are sales on! The packaging looks mega-slim but it's actually the same length as most lipsticks.

I have 2 of these, one in Pink Possibilities and one in Some Like It Taupe. These are so lovely if you just want a hint of colour without going too overboard. Pink Possibilities is quite bright but because it's so sheer it's very toned down and wearable. Some Like It Taupe is my favourite of the two though. It's a very sheer, browny nude colour that's perfect for my pale skin. I find it so hard to get good nudes for my skin tone but this one is so perfect. It has a little bit of shimmer in it which you can kinda feel even after you take it off, but regardless I love it. The formula is so creamy, glides on super smoothly but doesn't go everywhere. Doesn't feel drying AT ALL. I'd suggest exfoliating before wearing the really bright colours though. Really lovely lipsticks and I will be buying more shades very soon.

Update: Made-It Mauve is a beautiful purple-y colour with a hint of red that looks quite natural but still super pretty. It's very pigmented and is honestly one of my favourite lipsticks in the world.

Bare To Be Bold is a very pretty light nude colour that has more pigment than Some Like It Taupe but less pigment than Made It-Mauve. Unlike Some Like It Taupe this has no shimmer in it at all and looks really beautiful on my lips. Definitely love this one.

I am totally hooked on these at the moment. As the name implies, they are sheer washes of colour. Some shades have shimmer, some do not. I really love these lippies for those minimal make-up days - they look effortless and the texture is like lip balm so they are quite moisturizing! My only gripe is that they don't last very long on the lips, thanks to to the emollient formula and sheer colour, so they do need reapplication throughout the day.

I was a sucker for the great ads Maybelline had for these lippies. The colours are beautiful and sheer which is exactly what I want for work. One Size fits pearl is a beautiful sheer nude shade while the coral shade in the range gives a little bit of edge while still being work appropriate. Lasts for a few hours (without drinking or eating).

This is a great balmy lipstick with very build-able colour. It feels soft and smooth to apply and has a nice sheen to it. Because it is a moisturising lipstick it doesn't last very long and does need reapplying throughout the day. I have this in "Who wore it Red-er" which is strangely more of a pink shade than a red but it is very pretty and flattering.

These Maybelline Colour Whispers were a stroke of pure genius by the developers because natural glam has never been made easier than now. I own these whispers in every shade and the one thing that is without a doubt is that they are beautiful.

These whispers are not a lipstick dont make that mistake and buy it because its similar to a lipstick! Its not! Its simply a hybrid between a lipbalm and nude lipstick. This is not opaque, its not long lasting and it does not have amazing pigment and yet I've heard girls cry over the fact that this "lipsticks" are horrible! Go figure!

What these whispers are about is nudey lips that not intense but just a gentle hint of colour and a very creamy consistency. These whispers are perfect for your no makeup days but you still want a splash of glam on the lips and they're perfect for when youre at an occassion where you cant wear makeup but you can still having beautiful.

These whispers are hydrating and after using the, my lips are super soft... and this from a girl who suffers from dry lips! My favourite shades would have to be Strike a rose - gorgeous pastel pink that has some shimmer and Lust for Blush - that is creamy nude and also gorgeous.

I absolutely love these whipsers and will continue to repurchase them as my handy "lipbalm" in my makeup.

A great creamy product for summertime,glides on easy,I have the pink one and the lilac one and they feel like a lipbalm on your lips,very hydrating and lite ,I always have the pink one in my bags it's such a lite pink,it has a nude look to it, I would recomend to all,

I have the orange shade and t's a super wearable pop of colour. Very moisturising and sheer. LOVE IT
