Maybelline Color Whispers Review

If you are looking for a lightly pink tinted lipgloss that is in disguise as a lipstick... Than look no further. I brought my petal rebel lipstick online for about $10 and was really looking forward to trying it out!

I actually really liked the packaging it came in and was super excited because of it, the packaging almost had a urban street kind of feel.

The lipstick is really easy to work with and is nice and soft, but it really gives no colour whatsoever... Maybe a slight pink tint to your lips but thats about it really..

I found that the lipstick lasted about 15 minutes then really dried my lips out so I had to keep re-applying it.. Nothing against it though it did feel nice and natural on my lips!

I would use this lippy again but more as a lipgloss I feel! I would try another shade to see if it was different?

I found the product consitency was nice, but did not like how the colour did not show up on my skin, rahter it was like a lipbalm. I will be tyring other shades in future, and i would recomend this.

I like how this feels on my lips , smooth application and lovely packaging. But unfortunately not long lasting at all. Does not last for more than an hour and needs a generous application for any colour to show. Not one of the better products by Maybelline , I'm afraid !

I'm not too sure what to say about this one, because personally I love it a lot, it's super sheer and just give me a little extra brightness on my lips, which I like, however many others would argue that it's far too sheer and is basically a more expensive, less moisturising tinted lip balm.

For a lipstick this is very moisturising. But yes it is very sheer so if bright bold colour is what you're after I would not recommend. However if a nice sheer subtle every day lipstick is what you're after then you might love it as much as I do.

These lipsticks are just what they say they are. They give your lips a "whisper" of a colour, just a slight tint of colour. The pigmentation is therefore quite sheer. I liked that this lipstick was easy to apply and you could apply a thin layer if you only wanted your lips to have s slight tint. It also doesn't last very long on your lips and as soon as I ate or drank it came off.

I also didn't like the fact that it shows the cracks in you lips. I would therefore recommend exfoliating and promoting your lips before hand. The packaging is a square case with a bullet that is a cylinder shape.

Overall I probably wouldn't buy this again due to the fact that it shows the cracks in your lips a lot more.

i LOVE this soft pink, it is such a sweet pretty colour, I pop it over a nude lipliner or a matte lip stain. It has a bit of a gloss to it which I love too

I do love lippes and I am willing to give any type a go. I have had these for a number of years now. I think they may have discontinued some colours now.

This Maybelline comes in a very nice sliver tube with a coloured outer. You can pick them up for around $20.00 although they are usually on special somewhere.

I find these dont give you an absoulte full coverage, you might even consider them more of a tint. You can build the colour, although I find it dosent last too long on your lips.

The formula is smooth and has a nice fragrance to it. It goes on evenly and smoothy.

This lipstick is like a tinted lipgloss, and I loved it! It does what it says in the title, gives your lips a "whisper" of color. I loved using this during the day when I like a nice wash of color and boost the sheen in my lips. It was non-drying like some matte lipsticks can be, not hard to remove at the end of the day, I didn't find the lipstick sticky at all and actually it was a nice comfortable wear, the scent was pleasant, and the formula did not sting or hurt my lips.

I use this as more of a coloured lip balm rather than a lipstick. The colour is very sheer with a sheen to it, it feel nice on and isn't tacky or sticky in any way. This would be a good option to use if you're not sure about wearing lipstick or in jobs where you can't be too bold!
